HBH Woolacotts are exceptional. This is my second purchase and the service from beginning to end is like something you would have experienced years ago when we had true customer service.
My freezer was delivered today and the boys that delivered were just exceptional young men. Use Woolacotts, still a family owned business and you will be glad you did. Elizabeth Ingram.

I've yet to use the product, a larder fridge, as it has to stand for 4 hours after instillation. But the shop staff were excellent and knew what they were talking about. Delivery was first rate, early and informed of the time they would arrive. I cannot find anything to fault. If the fridge doesn't work I am confident it will be sorted out by Woolacotts. If not I'll be back with an update. I don't expect to add to this!

Matt at the Barnstaple store, contacted Nespresso and was on the phone for an hour. He was so patient and helpful. He went through the troubleshooting process with them and they arranged for us to have a replacement machine the next day! Brilliant.

I’m very happy with the Bosch fridge freezer I recently bought. I purchased online & it was delivered & my old one recycled. A very good service all round, I will definitely be buying appliances in the future.

Fantastic service today from Leah. I wanted to order a new oven over the phone and she was friendly, efficient and professional. Every time we either go in store or phone the St Austell branch we have exceptional service, going way above and beyond what is (unfortunately) standard nowadays. The staff really shine and it’s a very personal, easy and positive experience. Would highly recommend. 😊

I am so pleased that Woolacotts now has a branch in Barnstaple. I recently bought a television from them.
Everyone was very pleasant and helpful, and they fitted it the following day.

My wife and I visited the Barnstaple branch, initially, to get help with my wife's recently purchased iPad, but whilst we were there our thoughts turned to a new washing machine and dryer, our current ones being teenagers, on their last legs and very inefficient.
We were shown our options by a very helpful sales lady, Vicky. We left the store with the thought in our minds that a Bosch washing machine and heat pump tumble dryer would be our ideal dirty washing busting partnership.
Alas, when we got home and did our measuring we were disappointed to find that the Bosh duo simply would not fit in the available space.
We returned to the store the following day and were shown our, now, limited possible options by a very patient Vicky. It seems that washing appliances, like cars, have grown in size since we last purchased (which raises the question as to how the people living in dolls house size new builds are managing).
Success, we found a pair of Blombergs which fitted the bill for both size and quality.
We completed our purchase and our appliances were delivered and installed by Ross and Simon the following day. We were given a brief 'getting started' demonstration. We have only been up and running for a few days, but so far so good.
Woolacotts have been our 'go to' store for electrical appliances for many years now, and once again they have lived up to our expectations.

I had to return an item today as it was faulty and honestly I cannot fault the amazing customer service.

I walked away with a brand new replacement.

Also, the store was exceptionally clean.

Just had a new tumble dryer installed. Very good price and very good delivery team/ installers. Very highly recommended

My fridge freezer broke down on a Sunday night when we had a heatwave. I phoned first thing on Monday. They fitted in an extra appointment so the engineer came the same day - as his last call. He needed to order a part, so I phoned on Tuesday morning to ask if they might have a fridge I could borrow. This arrived the same day. Then when the part arrived, I'd already been given a provisional date in the hope that my part arrived on time. My engineer rang and made me his first call of the day and I'm just waiting for it to cool down before I get my frozen food back from friends. A truly excellent service.

Having looked on line at TVs I thought I’d check out Woolacotts. So pleased I did that. I have made my choice with the help of Vicky. Her advice and knowledge helped me decide on my purchase. The delivery and set up charges are reasonable and they deliver tomorrow.

Quite frankly I had given up using the local electric appliance shops as my experience of them was generally very poor. They rarely knew anything about their products and their prices could always be beaten. For the last few years I have almost exclusively bought online, especially living in Cornwall.
However, after being seriously frustrated over the online purchase of a combination microwave, I discovered HBH Woolacotts.
They have turned out to be a Godsend.
They were the only supplier who not only advertised the particular product I wanted but actually had it in stock without a shift in model numbers to sell a different item. The staff were very knowledgeable about the product, willing to provide free next-day delivery in Devon and Cornwall and their price couldn't be beaten.
A business I had never heard of with several branches local to me with fantastic service and prices. What more could I ask for?
This company will be my first port of call for any further electrical appliances I am in search of.
