If you are a Landlord, avoid this Lettings Agent
Four months into their tenancy our tenants absconded, owing eight weeks’ rent. When we were finally allowed access to the property, on the day of viewings for new prospective tenants, we discovered that the apartment had been left in a disgusting state. It was full of the tenants’ belongings, loads of discarded rubbish, dirty nappies and a kitchen full of mouldy food. When we phoned Adam, his response was “I don’t know what to do”. Eventually he said that he would speak to Charlotte because “she’s done a course”. Hassle Free Lettings were clearly out of their depth in this situation. The Short Term Tenancy Agreement isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. It states that rent should be paid by Standing Order but this hadn’t been set up so the tenants were able to stop paying without recourse. Whilst we appreciate that the situation with the tenants was not exactly the fault of Hassle Free, we feel that they were too inexperienced to deal with a matter of this magnitude and we now have to recover unpaid rent through the Small Claims Court.

I had an electrical issue and could not use my shower. Ella was amazing. She found an excellent electrician to fix the problem. I really appreciate that. Finally, I can use my shower again:)

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is beacuse of Ella. They got through to my landlord and got my hot water back on. However I had called multiple times beforehand and the persons on the phone just said they'd send maintainace even after a week of no hot water. Thank you Ella.

This was, without a doubt, the most unprofessional and incompetent housing agent I’ve ever dealt with.They scheduled the wrong viewing time. For the viewing, I took a day off work and traveled nearly 3 hours to get to the property, only to find out they had made a mistake. What made it worse was the constant lying from these agents (Chris and Adam). They sent me a text to arrive by 11:45 am, but since I live far away, I spoke to their agents over the phone, and we agreed on 12:45 pm. I waited for the agent at the property, as no one was there I called by 12:50pm which I have screenshots of. If that time slot was not available, they could have told me ahead of time instead of making excuses and lying when I arrived at the property.

I have been working with Hassle Free Letting since earlier this year. I have been very impressed by their professionalism, their process and customer service.

I would definitely recommend.
