Very good efficient driver
Very good efficient driver. Comfortable drive.
Driver kindly offered to phone the office when I commented that I thought I had been quoted £10 less than the confirmation text said. The office confirmed that the higher price was right,
but I am pretty sure that the office had said the lower amount. Maybe a slip of the tongue. Also the office had said five minutes wait and it was closer to twenty. The comfortable straightforward drive was much appreciated in spite of the initial misunderstandings.

Service well managed, costing not explained.
The taxi’s two and from the venue came on time and tracking and communication was perfectly managed. I’m not sure why we were given a cost range for the trips, for both trips (one before, one after 10pm, so timing was not a overarching reason), which was also quite a wide range; this was not explained.

Apologies, i did not get drivers name but he drove VW Caddy (NK68BFV) collected me from Maldon to Pitsea.
The driver was very happy, polite, respectful. Happy to chat. The taxi was clean in and out.
Also, fare was £5 cheaper than a competitor.

Driver was very rude at the end of journey , talking to me in slang and told me a cheaper price otp but charged me £6 extra because it was on a meter but he stayed at 40mph the whole journey through 60 and 30mph road we was even getting over taken ! Shouldn’t be on the road or definitely not a taxi driver absolute scam

Raise of concern
As always, the taxi turned up on time and was clean and tidy.
However, I was shocked by the topic of conversation initiated by the driver, which I felt bordered on racism.
The conversation was entirely steered by the driver and included comments that I found highly insulting towards a particular religion. Given that the driver had no knowledge of my own beliefs or background, this could easily have led to a very uncomfortable or heated situation. I was totally shocked by what he was openly suggesting.
While I appreciate the quality of the service itself, I do not feel that this type of conversation is appropriate in a professional setting and wanted to raise it as a concern.
