Amazing experience at Hans Place clinic with Mike. His advice and support was evident from my initial consultation through to the treatment.

The results are truly superior and even better than expected. I would 100% recommend Mike and his entire team for Vaser Lipo and surgical procedures. He is by far the best in his field and above all honest in terms of expectations.

I'm so pleased I went to Dr Comins at Hans Place Practice. I did my research carefully and am very happy with the results! I had vaser lipo carried out on the abdomen and flanks, and now have a more 'hourglass' shape. Dr Comins put me at ease and I felt utterly confident in his skills. I felt compelled to write a review after enjoying a beautiful sunny weekend outside and for the first time ever I felt comfortable and relaxed in my own skin wearing tea shirts and even sunbathing with no top!

I’ve never been particularly vain but have never really liked my body, I work out, drink occasionally and eat ok but I’ve always had man boobs, love handles and a layer of fat on my abdomen that wouldn’t shift. After months of procrastination and research I decided to have Vaser Lipo on my chest, abdomen and flanks at the end of last year. I didn’t want a highly sculpted look so I opted for mid def. I was concerned, as pointed out by Dr Comins that I would need my chest glands surgically removed as vaser doesn’t always work well with on certain chests without it. I needn’t have worried the results are spot on. Furthermore the treatment gave me a real motivation to up my gym regime which has really enhanced the effects and I also feel so much better in myself.

Dr Comins and his team did a great job. Very relaxed professional and discreet atmosphere at the clinic where you have consultations and surgery. I had vaser on my upper arms which had been bothering me for many years despite exercise and diet. Dr Comins was realistic about what could be achieved and the surgery was painless and quick. After care instructions simple to follow. I am four weeks post procedure and the results are already showing. I am glad I went to someone who has so much experience in the procedure. I cant wait for the swelling to completely go and my defined arms to be there. I recommend Hans Place without reservation.

My husband of all people recommended me to Dr Mike ( Long story!!). I’ve always hated my lack of waist and pot tummy. I had Vaser Lipo a few months ago and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. For me it took a while for all the swelling to go and I did get a little worried that the results wouldn’t come through but Mike was very reassuring and a few months later I’m so happy!!

I’ve been seeing Dr Comins at his clinic for the last few years and I have Botox and my lips done by him on a regular basis.He is the definitely the best in the business and enhances my looks in the best natural way possible.Hes got an honest comforting manner and nothing is ever to much trouble.Highly recommend.

I had previously given it 2 stars as I was grateful I had no complications. I've since realised I've set the bar too low.

I waited just over a year to see the full results of my vaser liposuction before I share my experience on here. I had inner, outer thighs and inner knees treated though I had initially asked for the 360-vaser on legs.

My first impression was terrible. I was booked in a week or so after my initial consultation and when I turned up for the procedure, I was the first to arrive at the clinic and there was no nurse, nor PA, no staff whatsoever. Dr. Mike arrived a bit later, seemingly in an irritable attitude. It looked like they'd made a mistake, either forgotten about my appointment or his team had walked out on him, not sure. Obviously without his team, he made up stuff saying I didn't have realistic expectations and whatnot (with an angry tone), after which I was sent home. It was made to look like it was all my fault when my weight was about 58kg at 170cm height and I was not looking to lose weight, but simply achieve a more even silhouette without the saddlebags. He called the following day to apologise and ask me to trust him again, trying to win me as a client. Should have known better then.

The results. Not very even results and I immediately felt pressing in the crease under my left bum cheek as if there was excess fat shifted there, making it difficult to walk as it was causing friction. That fat wasn't there before. I was told it was swelling but it never went away.

I had a touch up after the first 6 months as the results weren't great. My bum was getting smaller (which is not what I wanted) but the 'saddlebags' were still visible with hip dips which I'd never had before. Also the crease under my left cheek was deeper and a bit longer than the right side. From the very beginning and still to this day, my left and my right cheek are not the same size and there is asymmetry which causes a lot of discomfort. Also there are no trousers or bikini that will sit straight in the middle and with the buttons/fly in the centre as my fuller left cheek pulls them to the left. I still have small 'saddlebags' which were the reason I had lipo in the first place, and there is no change at all to my inner knees though they were done twice - just two unnecessary incision scars. I didn't pay for my bum to become flatter and sag; I've always had a round and perky bum which I loved and didn't have issues with. My wish was to get rid of the saddlebags and get slimmer thighs, but not change the size or shape of my bum!

Another unwanted result has been the appearance of my skin – its texture is now terrible which is quite disappointing as vaser lipo claims to make skin tighter. Instead, I got damaged collagen fibers in the superficial layer of the skin, which make it appear a bit darker in colour and wrinkled, like cellulitis, but worse. This is definitely not something I had before the touch up. This is also NOT the reason I went for vaser as I am WELL aware it's not a treatment for cellulite. But it shouldn't cause new wrinly skin, should it? I also sent photos of the affected areas and Dr Comins acknowledged the new 'cellulite' (regardless of what he's now saying in his responce to this review) and advised to do 12 sessions of endermologie (which isn't cheap) but there was little to no improvement.

I've always been very active, but now I work out 5-6 times a week and I do a lot of HIIT just to try and lift my saggy bum a bit.

So my advice is think about it carefully and ask the right questions again and again and if you can get it in writing it's even better as Dr Comins tends to argue he never said things. My best advice is that you go elsewhere.

ps. I'll one day pluck up the courage to post before and after photos, which is quite distressing to look at.

Mike is amazing and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get vaser! He is very honest with the results you can/can't achieve and makes you feel very relaxed. I'm really happy with the results and will be back for more in the future i'm sure.

I have had an amazing, professional experience with the Hans Place Practice led by Dr Comins. I had some unsightly areas of fat around my tummy which showed when i would wear certain blouses or jumpers,and being 70 i was uncertain i would be welcome at the clinic. On the contrary! I was reassured that age is no barrier to having improvements done for my self worth. The results are fabulous. Thank you team!

I have to say Dr Mike Comins from Hans Place Practice is by far the best doctor I've had, not just his skills and knowledge, but his integrity and how he cares for his patients before, during and after procedures. He performed Vaser liposuction on my abdomen, flanks, waist, upper back, arms and inner thighs and I am absolutely over the moon with the results, solid and lasting results that I did not get from fat-melting injectables and CoolSculpting. Great experience of vaser lipo. Dr Mike is very knowledgable and gives his honest opinion about what can be done. The anaesthetists who did the iv sedation were fantastic with no pain or after effects. I needed a small touch up on a bit of scar tissue which was sorted out a few months down the line. Nothing was too much trouble for the practice and I would highly recommend!

Delighted with the clarity of advice, process, experience and results so far.

I honestly have to say that Dr Mike Comins is amazing at what he does and is arguably the best in the field in my opinion. He is not only a surgeon but a genius in this art and a perfectionist which is evident in his work. I am extremely pleased with the results I have so far with my lipo, and I am excited to see the full results after my final procedure. The only regret I have is that I didn't have this done years ago. I have no doubts about Dr Comins’s ability and would recommend him highly to anyone that is interested in getting vaser liposuction done. The entire team at Hans Place are welcoming and friendly. They genuinely care for their patients, this is apparent with the high level of customer service provided. If you decide to move forward with this procedure with Dr Comins, trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Last December I underwent the Vaser Lipo procedure (abdomen and flanks) at Hans Place. The choice of the clinic was based on the results of an extensive internet search and personal recommendations from people and patients who had met and/or worked with Dr Comins. During the initial consultation, Dr Comins came across as someone genuinely interested in understanding the patient’s aspirations and willing to provide a professional, honest and direct feedback and advice. When I left, he invited me to think about the procedure and if that was what I really wanted.

The Vaser Lipo went very smoothly with practically no discomfort. I did take a mild sedative and was fully awake throughout the procedure. After care instructions were extremely detailed and covered the whole range of discomforts and issues that patients may experiences during the very first days after the Vaser Lipo. The recovery was pretty fast and 2 days after the procedure I was able to walk at normal pace.

The results of the Vaser Lipo were visible after a couple of days after the procedure and they become more pronounced over time as the swelling subsidies. Patience is key as the swelling can take some months before subsidising completely and bring to light the full results.

Along with Dr Comins, Vicky is someone worthwhile mentioning as she plays a decisive role in the end-to-end customer experience at Hans Place. Vicky is the smiley, welcoming and efficient lady who welcomes you on the phone and at the reception. She is often the first person you will meet when get into Hans Place and she makes you feel home. Her attention to details and to the customer satisfaction is superb!

My advice to anyone reading this review is: do not to waste your time (and money) meeting other surgeons or visiting other Vaser Lipo clinics in London. Just go to Hans Place and give yourself the chance to meet Dr Comins. I am pretty sure that, if you decide to progress with the procedure, Hans Place will be your choice.

As a fifty something post menopausal woman. I had lost confidence in the way I looked. I suddenly found myself with rolls and pockets of fat that no amount of diet or exercise could erase. I have always maintained a pretty healthy lifestyle so found this unwanted change very uncomfortable. I did a lot of research and soul searching. ( am I being ridiculous at my age , is this vanity? Etc) . After two years of not being comfortable in my skin and clothes I decided to take the plunge and do something about it. Something for myself to make me feel better and get my confidence back. After looking through various options I decided Vaser lipo seemed the right choice for me. Then came the hard part . Who to choose. I had numerous consultations, read so many reviews. Then I came across Mike Commins at Hans Place. Mike made me feel so comfortable and spoke to me like I mattered. He listened to my concerns and quickly put me at ease. There was no pressure just great advice and realistic views. Needless to say I decided to have the procedure. I cannot tell you what a great decision that was. 3 months later on holiday I wore a swimsuit, but let me tell you I could have worn a bikini . I am absolutely thrilled with my results. My clothes fit as they used to and how wonderful not have the horrible roll of fat when I bend forward. Thankyou Mike from the bottom of my heart . I have my mojo back.
