The worst experience I have ever had!!!

Jess is lying scamming low life piece of S**T! She will tell you everything you want to hear how laser is so much more successful than transplant even how Ryan Giggs had his hair done here. She will sign you up and then be no where to be seen. I’m not holding back on this review as they have had months and months to contact me. Voicemail messages nothing.

My treatment was useless no changes what so every! Days of loosing money travelling to the clinic fuel parking and £2200 for the so called 100% guaranteed treatment!

I hope this company sinks faster than a led balloon... Jess can keep my money and hopefully use it to sort her disgusting yellow teeth! What a absolute joke these scam artist are. Writing this review is the only satisfaction I have from dealing with these absolute W***kers!!!

Please don’t use these people. Look at the other reviews and don’t make the same mistake we did.

I had my initial consultation in October 2020 with J and had told her that I wanted a hair transplant and had done my research . She told me that I should have the laser instead as she felt it would be suitable and obtain a good result . I declined saying that I’d prefer the hair transplant as it’s more certain and I have a wedding I want to be ready for . She then went on to say that if the laser treatment was unsuccessful I would be put forward for a free hair transplant . I then agreed to this.

I had my laser treatment commencing once a week which started at the end of the month (October 2020) It then got put on hold due to COVID restrictions and restarted in the new year .

In July / August I spoke to K the receptionist and had mentioned numerous times about the hair transplant . I asked for a review with J so I could be put forward for a hair transplant as it clearly hadn’t had the appropriate benefit . I then had a review with J and She then went on to tell me that I should do 6 extra sessions and if there was no improvement I would be put forwards for the hair transplant .

I then revised with J In September time and she told me that I should carry on with the minoxidil until around December and then review with her . If there was no benefit she would put me forwards for the hair transplant . I stressed to her about the importance of being prompt due to wanting to recover and grow my hair out for my wedding and she assured me it would be fine

In December I turned up to my review . I was told J had been dismissed and was under police investigation . K told me they do not give out free hair transplants and was clearly looking upset and guilty having to break this bad news to me . He stated J had been potentially lying to clients and this was part of the reason why she was under investigation .

I told K I wasn’t happy with this and after a long discussion he told me he would speak to head office and see what they could do. He texted me saying they would take £2k off a transplant and I would have to pay £1500. I thought about it and declined the offer . (I have textual proof of this ).

I emailed the hair loss clinic on the weekend asking for a copy of my contract and didn’t get a reply over the days .

I then phoned the hair loss clinic asking for a copy of my contract . They said they would get back to me and did not . So I chased it every day for 5 days . The lady on the phone then told me that they can’t find my contract . The lady on the phone reiterated that J had been dismissed and was under police investigation and she may have the files which included my contract . Which i also feel is a breach of confidentiality .

I spoke to the lady and told her I was going to take legal action if I didn’t get a refund. And she phoned me back offering the same deal K mentioned about the hair transplant or a ‘wig’ .
I declined this . I spent over £2.5k of my own money due to the promises from what I thought was a professional . My mental health is affected a lot too and this has a lot of implications for me going forwards including being ready for my wedding day. They have not responded to my e mails but I am
In the process of taking legal action WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I was dubious as to how effective this could be. How could it be this simple?
After years of ongoing stress I started to lose my hair. I visited the clinic and was advised that I should expect great results and I have. I’m in the final few months of treatment and didn’t even need the drops. The laser, shampoo and vitamins worked without.
The team are very friendly and treatment isn’t as expensive as you might think.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I went for a consultation in their Liverpool clinic for a hair transplant. I was explicitly told that the majority of the surgery would be performed by surgeon that I'd be assigned to. A major red flag should have been the fact that absolutely no terms and conditions were given to me except for a measly "The deposit is non-refundable". After paying the hefty deposit, I was given the information of the surgeon.

I was linked to Hair Growth Centre, in their Manchester offices. You can find their reviews on TrustPilot.

After researching the surgery practice, there are multiple reviews (both positive and negative, I cannot comment on the quality of the surgery) that state that the majority of the work is carried out by the technicians and NOT the surgeon as I was originally promised. This would mean I would NOT be receiving the service I had paid for.

After expressing these concerns to the company and requesting a refund within a couple of hours of sending the funds, I was told I would not be receiving a refund even though there is a clear breach of contract.

Evidence includes the “contract” I was provided with before all information was provided, copies of emails between the sales representative and I. Also emails with the company’s (suspected) CEO, Andy.

I have been struggling with hair loss for the last five years, I began to feel low in confidence due to the hair fall and thinning so decided to book a consultation at the Sheffield branch. I arrived for my consultation and i was really nervous. The consultant was a lady called Jess who instantly introduced herself and made me feel calmer than what i was before i went in to the room. I was asked to fill a consultation form out just detailing a few details regarding my hair loss concerns. She then examined my scalp with a scope (I think she called it) it was a hand held camera, she explained to me what she could see on the screen as she examined my head. She then explained to me what would be involved with the laser treatment plan and the costing of the treatment. She recommended that I would need a 3 month plan. Included in this plan was the laser therapy treatment and products. I decided to go home and have a think about it. It took me 3 weeks to decide to take the plunge and go for it. I contacted Jess and told her i wanted to start the treatment and she booked me in. I attended my first session and can honestly say i don't know what i was expecting and since that first session I have attended every week and I have now come to the end of my treatment and the results are astounding I am so happy and can not thank the team and Jess at HLC Sheffield enough for what they have done for me. I was really nervous about going for my laser treatment, especially only being 20, but Jess assured me that it would be a good decision. After a lot of patience, my weekly visits to the clinic paid off. I’m so much more confident and can’t thank Jess enough. One of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time!

I have just completed 6 months treatment at the Blackburn clinic. At my first consultation I was extremely anxious because I was embarrassed at how bad my hair was. I initially thought that I was way past the point of any help. The consultant was a lovely lady called Jess and she made me feel relaxed almost straight away. She had a good look at my head to check my follicles and scalp with the microscope and showed me on the screen and explained to me what was happening, she also explained to me what treatment was available for me and talked me through everything regarding the laser therapy. I signed up for 6 months treatment and I don't regret it at all. I have not felt this good about myself in 5 years. I would 100% recommend that anyone with hair loss concerns goes to see these guys. Thank you Jess and the HLC Blackburn staff for making me feel human again.

I had my consultation with Lee in Nov 19. I told him my background regarding my hair loss and despite being unable to be diagnosed by several doctors due to inconclusive test results I was guaranteed that the treatment York Hair Loss Clinic provided would be successful as 'it had never not worked'. I expressed my concern with this as I could not believe that this treatment was 100% successful. I told Lee that I had used Minoxidil before and it hadn't worked for me and I asked him why it would work now when it didn't work before? I was told repeatedly that it had never not worked. Lee was very convincing but I still felt very uneasy about spending such a large amount of money. I was desperate to try anything as my hair loss had an effect on my every day life. He assured me it would definitely work and I would only need 6 month's worth of treatment at £2,000. He told me he was so sure it would work that he would guarantee a full refund if 30% increase was not achieved. He wrote this on the agreement and we both signed it. I left feeling hopeful.
I was told that 20 mins was the max time people could be 'under the laser' for, however after a few sessions Lee told me that he had found out that it was actually 30 mins so he offered me an extra 10 mins each time due to my lengthy travel. I was very grateful.
At my 3 month follow up consultation I expressed my concerns that so far I had seen no growth or change in my hair, despite being told that I would within 6-8 weeks. My Aunty accompanied me at my initial consultation and had also come back for this one too. She agreed that she could not see new growth despite Lee telling me almost every session that it was working. He used the microscope on my head to show me the 'improvement' and I asked how I would know he was focusing on the same section of my hair, as my thinning is in patches? He avoided this question and never took any 3 month pics as outlined in the treatment plan. It is my suspicion now that this is because he knew it was not working and did not want to evidence this. Lee also then told me once again that what he thought was the max time allowed was incorrect and I would now have one hour sessions, weekly, to help with my growth. At one point I began to tell myself that perhaps it was working and I took a photo to compare. On reflection, the photo was not a true comparison as my scalp was stained by brown dry shampoo (which I had used for years to cover up my thinning and was assured this would not affect my treatment) and gives the illusion of thicker hair. It was also styled differently.
Then, lockdown happened. I continued to use the products daily as per instructions.
When I returned back to the clinic I once again expressed my concerns that I was nearly at the end of my plan but as of yet, there was no visible hair growth. After inspection, Lee agreed with me and offered me extra laser sessions f.o.c. I began to ask Lee about the refund I was promised but he tried to sway me to try other products instead. I said this was not what I wanted. Lee told me "Andy doesn't like giving people their money back". I told him that I would then take them to court. He replied "he'll win, he has a lot more money than you do". Sessions continued.
Lee agreed that my hair was no different and he didn't know what to do as he had never been in that position before. He told me he would make sure I got my money back even if it meant putting 'referral bonuses' through the books so Andy didn't know, or paying me back personally.
After several more sessions and no improvement Lee agreed that it was a waste of time to continue. By this point I'd had over 18 month's worth of sessions.
I was disappointed but hopeful that there would be a resolution.
I messaged Lee several times as he told me he'd talk to Andy. Eventually Lee said that Andy had agreed to give me 'some' money back. This was later retracted and I was told I would not be and 'Andy would just say I wasn't using my products' even though Lee said 'I know you are'. I said I had no option but to take this further.
Citizens advice advised me to send 3 letters asking for an amicable resolution before pursuing with court. My first letter was replied to saying they would not be giving me a refund and the second two were ignored.
I also raised a case with my credit card company and thankfully after their legal team viewed the text messages from Lee, photographs and the signed agreement they agreed that York Hair Loss Clinic were in the wrong and awarded me a full refund.
I feel completely let down and am angry that they use people's vulnerability to get sales. A refund should never have been offered to me as it became clear fairly quickly that this would never be honoured. I have since seen other reviews from similar cases so Lee saying it had never not worked was ultimately a lie.
I've more to say on their contradicting statements but not enough characters left!

I've been going to the Essex Hair Loss Clinics for a few months now and am blown away with the results plus the level of service.

Very friendly hands on support from Alan and the team too, makes you feel very at home if you are nervous about this sort of thing.

I have had 6 sessions now and am already seeing a huge difference in regrowth around my crown and overall hair thickness.

That said like anything there is no magic pill and you will need to commit to the laser therapy sessions, supplements, better diet and lifestyle etc as these have an impact too.

The team are very committed to you and have helped lots of people so there is nothing to lose by enquiring. Thanks so much

The staff at this clinic are great! they are helpful always ready to answer questions, checked my hair progress regularly during my treatment and provided products to use at home when I needed more.
I recommend this clinic to anyone with a hair loss problem not just for positive end results also overall the service is excellent!!.

Visited the hair loss clinic in Newcastle
started laser hair treatment at the Newcastle clinic for 4 months. Had to cancel through no fault of my own as it caused me blisters and horrendous itching And dry scalp.
Asked for a refund, basically told no. Even though your made to pay over 2000 upfront. If your thinking about getting this treatment, DONT!!. Still perusing my refund after asking 6 times for a number for there head office. Terrible service .

I have just finished a 3months course at HLC Stockport. My laser technician was andrew and my consultant was jessica. My hair loss has now dissapeared and i am really happy with the treatment process. I will recommend to all friends in need. Thanks Fem

Treatment initially worked well and was very pleased, However, within 2 months of finishing treatment hairloss has got worse than it was. Tried to contact for further treatments, initially had a response and since gone cold after chasing multiple times. Disappointing.

I must say that I am so surprised to see so many positive comments recently. In fact I was of the opinion this organisation was either a scam or close to insolvency. After their Surrey office specialist, Paige, GUARANTEED that their treatment would definitely stop my wife's hair loss and she will grow her hair back we decided to go ahead and on December 3 2019 paid 100% down payment for full 6 months' treatment. She had treatments in December and February and then everything stopped and Guildford branch was shut due to COVID 19. Meanwhile my wife developed severe allergy to minoxidil (the hair growth support chemical substance they mainly base their treatment on). And her hair loss aggravated. Hence she decided to stop the treatment and ask for the refund. However her numerous phone calls and requests for callbacks remained unattended and a few emails were not answered. Because of the significance of the amount invested in this treatment which was clearly based on false promises, declarations and GUARANTEES I have been forced to interfere and left a few messages with requests to call back as well as sent a number of emails. None of the above was replied even despite my threat to appeal to social media with negative reviews about their activities and attitude. At this moment I have nothing left but to warn other existing and future clients to be extremely cautious about the clinic's treatment plans involving substantial down payments. Don't trust their full recovery GUARANTEES which they continue to advertise on their website.
On the other hand I am glad to see these positive comments which show that the company is still alive and possibly is financially stable to pay us the requested refund. Perhaps it is just an episode between us and the company's Surrey brunch.
Finally I regret that I had to resolve to making this dispute and our dissatisfaction public. But HairLoss Clinic left us with no other choices by ignoring all our attempts to contact them.
If this appeal doesn't work I have nothing left but to employ legal means to resolve this conflict.

I’m 29 years old and I started losing my hair in my early 20s. I thought my chances were over and I was going to have to embrace the Bic until I started hearing about clinics. I must say Alan Heath at the Brentwood Clinic was just fantastic. So much more approachable, genuine and affordable than other clinics I had consultations with. No BS, no fluff.. just facts and lots of information. 4 months into my treatment and my hair is getting thicker and my patches are growing back naturally. No dangerous drugs/implants. People are noticing and I feel so much more confident. Best decision I have ever made.

To be honest I am so amazed with the results because, when I found this treatment my daughter had serious problems with her hair and scalp, she was losing her hair especially on the front and as soon as we started the treatment everything started to change until the hair volume has increased, the level of treatment quality is surreal and I highly recommend it to anyone who is having the same hair loss problems.

I'm currently 3 months into my 6 month laser treatment, I developed two kinds of alopecia (traction) (areata) after a disaster with my hair. I can't thank Jess enough for fixing my hair! I had little faith this would work but in 3 months I've had nearly 80% of my hair come back and still have 3 months to go! 🙌 I couldn't recommend it enough, and also you can do a payment plan to spread the cost!

I’ve come to the end of my 9 month treatment, when I first attended my hair was rapidly receding. Now 9 months later I have a full head of hair, my hair line has come back and has boosted my confidence, thank you to Jess at the Leeds branch for easing any of my concerns and taking me through the process step by step. I highly recommend for anyone who is having hair troubles!
