I live in hot Southern California (high desert), and growing vegetables outdoors or a small greenhouse cane very challenging. Daytime temperatures are well over 100 F. I purchased three small Malabar spinach plants. They arrived safely, and were easy to plant. The photos show very quick growth in three weeks. Took samples from each, and sautéed them with oil and black pepper. They were excellent. I’m very pleased with the plants, and GrowJoy is my go-to nursery from now on!

Most of my experiance with mail order plants has been with flowers and they were not good. So glad I found Grow Joy. I ordered 2 Pumpkin plants because I am behind in my planting.. When they arrived, the packaging was so impressive thst even though the deliverer had beaten the box a bit, the plants were in PERFECT shape due to the containers they are transported in. I will do flowers next.

If you are okay with no customer service, then this is the place to buy from. Tried contacting the nursery about my order via their ticket system, voicemails and emails. No one bother to get back to me about my plants that died within days of planting (Order #626630/Code: EOK3623438435). The website is terrible. Their so-call ticket submittal system for questions and/or issues doesn't work. Once you submit a ticket then you are supposed to get an email to validate/confirm the ticket. Did not receive email. You can't even create an account. If you call their customer service, it tells you to use the ticket system for faster response. Left several voicemails and emails no response. Never seen this roundabout way of contacting customer service with any other nursery websites. Can't help but think that this is done intentionally to avoid customer complaints.

Will not buy from here again. There are other online nurseries who are reputable and honest.

GrowJoy literally gives me joy. With an abundant variety of plants, you will have fun picking and choosing exactly what you want. I love this small business and from now on, I will only buy my plants from GrowJoy.

My plants arrived faster than expected - in perfect shape. I planted them the same day and happy with the results. It’s only been a few days but they seem to be thriving. I’m looking forward to some tasty veggies in a few weeks.

Very good quality plants,excellent packing, good communication

Plants came with excellent packing. Plants were in great shape and responded to transplant with amazing speed. I'd like to order 4 more but the plants are out os stock.

All but 1 plant arrived and are thriving. They replaced the 1 plant that arrived looking dead very promptly. It is now planted and getting new growth already. Excellent service, excellent plants.

In 2022, I ordered a Aconcagua pepper plant from this company. After investing the time to grow the plant…turned out it was just a regular green bell pepper (which i do not like having in my garden)

I emailed a complaint and they gave me enough “reward points” for 2 free plants. So this year I ordered a cucumber plant and another aconcagua pepper plant.

I was shocked to see that shipping for 2 plants was over $15. I went through with the order but felt stupid since I could purchase a pepper and a cucumber plant from my local markets for half this price (so I’m actually paying double for something that was suppose to be free)

Now its the end of June and I’m realizing they DID THE SAME THING AS LAST YEAR!!! My “aconcagua” pepper is again just a regular green pepper plant.

I will never give this company my business again.

For any gardener that wants to order plants online, this is the company to go to. I have been a customer for a couple of years and have always had a great experience. The annual flower and organic vegetable plants that I have ordered arrived in great condition, carefully packaged, too. In fact, I am very impressed with their packaging, never seen another company take such care to ensure the customer gets their plants in good, healthy condition. Their customer service is top-notch, very fast to respond, and always will go out of their way to help their customers. It is also hard to even find organic vegetable plants online or in the stores, but they have a huge selection of plants to choose from. Take a look at their website, you will be impressed with their knowledge and inventory.

Another year with the same great GrowJoy experience. Our tomato, jalapeno, cucumber and basil plants arrived on time and in great shape. They have been planted and are thriving. Thanks GrowJoy.

Wonderful company! They cheerfully fixed an issue that was most likely my fault and the plants were in perfect condition!

Poor QA, substandard product. this was 4-5 months early order. Did not ship all and 2nd shipment was pathetic plants.

order number is 596996. Please dont make this sound as if a total surprise. Your staff was made aware last week. I sent photos of pack list showing your staff short-shipped, and photos of these plants. They refunded for the plant not sent and said "sorry". that was it.

I had written a review about recieving only 1 itemfrom my order. Growjoy compaany read my review and immediately shipped the rest of the order that afternoon. Their customer service was great.
I will definitely order more plants from them in the future.

They have a great selection of vegetable plants. They package them well so they arrive in good condition and healthy. Also if something goes wrong and they don’t arrive in good shape or they are damaged, the company happily replaces them or issues a refund.

Perfectly packaged bright green plants with not a single yellow or brown leaf, the tomato plants are tall and leafy unlike the poor cousins at Home Depot. Watered with a dense root system making planting easy! Amazing small business that goes the extra mile literally. So excited about summer now after a very cold Ohio winter thanks to grow joy

This company works hard to provide quality organically grown plants and takes great care of their customers to see that the plants arrive healthy and in packaging designed to protect them. I have received 17 plants from them, each arrived promptly and in great shape. Their customer service is outstanding, I will definitely order more from GrowJoy!

This place is a disgrace! Plants were practically dead when I got them. The calibrachoa were dead by the next day. I'm still waiting on a rooted plant that was supposed to be shipped before Easter 2023. Still no word on it!! I will never ever again order. These plants looked like they belonged on Walmart's clearance/disposal rack!

GrowJoy grows the second best vegetables on this planet, only God can do better than them.

GrowJoy is in Indiana and I'm in Texas. I pre-ordered 9 different tomato plants and 4 different bell pepper plants in January. I got them yesterday (March 30) which was perfect.

I didn't have to call them and wonder where my plants are because even though they are only a family owned business, instead of a huge nursery, they're professionals and sent them on time.

Also, the way GrowJoy ships their plants is incredible. You know how horrible delivery companies can be when they delivery anything.

Well, GrowJoy goes that extra mile so the delivery person would have to work real hard to leave a plant badly damaged.

You can't go wrong with GrowJoy, they are THE BEST!

I'm waiting on an order I placed in Feb. Then, ship date stated March 26th. End of March 27th now, I've submitted two tickets thru their website with this inquiry & still received no response, no email, no shipping details. There's no phone # on line which is quite troubling. It's simple, just respond to my tickets and provide shipment info with tracking. This is my first experience with Grow Joy.

Revision.. after sending THIS, I receive a shipment notification... stay tuned

March 30th update:
Received my 9 plants today, 1 still to be shipped next month. All look healthy, but considerably smaller than expected. I'm used to purchasing plants locally and have had great experiences, just wanted to try something different. I'm used to picking out my plants like buying produce at stores. I think these will grow nicely..
Size of plants & no listed phone number on website for CS is now what are the driving factors for my review.
