Two of the member of staff Shirley and Danny were really helpful when I bought a pair of walking boots. Danny went out of his way to find my boots , put them aside so I could collect them the following day. Shirley was really helpful exposing how to maintain and clean my boots. They were helpful thoughtful and I was impressed by their service.

I purchased a new waterproof and the Lady that served me asked if I required some Nik Wax . She then went on to explain to me all about it , giving me instructions on how to use it . We went into store to get my daughter sorted for DofE suitable walking boots. We were served by Shirley (worcs 2592) who was great. She gave really helpful advice to my daughter on how to lace the boots, did a full check of the fit and gave advice on how to walk them in at home first. Highly recommend!

I needed to find a pair of boots for my friend after my recent online purchase from Go Outdoors failed at the delivery stage resulting in a speedy refund. Shirley dealt with my initial request and found the right size for the boot brand requested. Result! Shirley proceeded to inform me about boot manufacture, goretex, cleaning and care of said boots, guarantees and return options. Furthermore she divulged organisational good practise with in house training staff receive. And even added her own story of her walking trip in Snowdonia under less than clement conditions. Finally she sorted out the discount (YHA) and payment due which matched my previous online purchase. My overall experience of the episode left me in awe of her outstanding knowledge and devotion to the highest level of customer service and interaction. Well done. And furthermore its great Worcester now has a Go Outdoors branch and a proper local outdoors shop. A happy customer!!

I went in on Thursday 19/02/26. I was greeted politely at the door then left to browse without being hassled. When I needed help I asked for and received it from a sales assistant called Shirley, the same lady at the door. There was a members' sale on and she explained it all without being over effusive. She is a credit to the store.

Really helpful and pleasant service from Shirley (S2592) when I was looking at the different types of non-slip grippers for shoes. I was clueless about them, so she took time to explain the difference between them, show me how each worked, and helped find the most suitable pair. Really lovely to find staff like Shirley, will definitely visit again due to this excellent service.
