I wanted to leave a review for Terry following our visit to GO Outdoors on 5th August.

His customer service was excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to listen to what I needed, and really helped me choose the right tent for my family rather than simply trying to sell me something.

Thanks to Terry’s advice, I ended up with a tent that was perfect for us and had an absolutely amazing family trip away. It made a huge difference knowing I'd bought the right setup.

It’s exactly this kind of friendly, knowledgeable service that makes you want to come back. I’ll definitely be returning to GO Outdoors, and next time I’ll be looking for Terry again as I need some advice on fishing equipment!

Go outdoors ad came up for £26 for members. (Needed to renew)
Turned out to be £50 for the gas
More expensive than anywhere else on my search. Not even my 10% discount was valid on the gas either.
Won't be going back. !!!!!

Excellent service in store today, we were served by a very polite, friendly and helpful man named John-Paul.

Order delivered promptly. Needed to change shoe size, which was done at the store with no difficulty.

Ged was a great help with choosing hiking trainers and a bag for an upcoming trip, thank you!

I am very happy from start too finish with my order from Go Outdoors.
The order was delivered quickly, but I unfortunately had to return it to store. My refund came through very quick and I was kept up to date with the progress all the way through.

Visited Fishing Republic and was helped by Finlay at the Gateshead store. He was super knowledgable and gave me some great advice.

I came in to look at backpacks as I’m going travelling soon and was served by Max who was so lovely and incredibly helpful! I had no idea what I was looking for but Max took the time to show me all the different options in store and helped me work out which ones would be best suited to me. He also showed me how to properly fit the backpack, which was so helpful! Unfortunately I didn’t end up going with one of the backpacks in the store but I will absolutely be back to get the rest of my travelling gear. Thank you!

Fast efficient service with everything i needed

I was looking for a new pair of hiking boots and I received very good support from the staff. Andy was great. He was proactive, responsive, knowledgeable and friendly.
He gave me options based on the information I had provided, suggested alternatives and even gave advice regarding cleaning and maintenance. Andy was that good, I made additional purchases for the cleaning and waterproofing products.
Even more, Andy was so supportive while juggling queries from other customers. Even when I tried boots and was pleased with them, he went and brought more boots and answered more questions.

I came to buy a gas bottle for a new fire pit.
Max came to help me select the correct bottle & carried it to my car.
Unfortunately, the instructions that came with the product showed the wrong type of bottle.

I went back, and Max came to my aid again.
Although it was complex, he sorted the right bottle.

When trying to refund me, the staff had some issues. Julie came to the rescue. The staff who supported me were very helpful.

We visited the store to get some advice as my husband needed a solution for his camping sleeping set up
Terry was fabulous helped with advice and recommended a great bed option that is a brilliant purchase. He was patient, friendly and knowledgeable a great asset to the store thank you Terry
