Dale the assistant was so helpful and informative. Knew his stuff about hiking and was quick in assisting us trying on hiking boots. Brought us alternatives when they didn’t have our size and was able to reserve our favourites at another store. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Will definitely be coming back for all my outdoors needs.

I wanted a swiss army knife which was in a locked display case. The assistant, Dan, looked to find one in stock, but had no luck. He then offerd to let me have the display item. Unfortunately the box for the knife could not be found, so Dale and Dan with the agreement of Leah, the manager, offered me a discount on the knife, which I accepted. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. I would use the store again.

Today I was looking for walking boots. I was served by Robin who was extremely helpful when I was looking for recommendations. Robin’s customer service was impeccable. Well done Kingston for employing such caring staff.

We were extremely pleased with Dale, the sales representative at the Kingston Upon Thames branch. His professionalism, gentlemanly manner, and fast service truly impressed us. He is an outstanding salesperson who absolutely deserves recognition.

Such great service from Dale today. He managed to help four different customers at the same time without anyone having to wait and we were delighted with the advice we received and the purchases we made.

Jessica was quick and efficient to assist us.

A like for like replacement of waterproof jacket - even though outside return date deadline. New jacket has been good, no repeat of previous problem.

Just wanted to thank Robin + Ashley who were able to get a pair of sandals from your shop in Glasgow to the Kingston store in a matter of days..
I was looking for a pair of walking sandals that have been discontinued .. Robin found a pair in Scotland and put the wheels in motion to get them to Kingston.
Ashley kept me fully updated to the expected arrival.

Kingston store had laces for my hiking shoes and I had the right advice on the length I needed. The laces are excellent quality.

I was buying shoes that day. A worker Dale helped me with everything. Getting to know the budget and purpose of use. Very cheap at Go Outdoors generally.

I bought a raincoat which had a faulty zip. When I returned to the shop the person serving was very efficient at giving me a refund.

Absolute perfect customer service. I saw Jess at the till who was kind and helpful. My bike tyre had a hole in it, and Jess referred me to Aaron who helped me by changing the tyre.
Aaron was a pleasure to talk with as he changed the tyre.
I can confidently say Jess and especially Aaron went above and beyond great customer service. I will be coming back many more times based upon this experience.

I had Great customer service in the Kingston branch today. I bought a pair of hiking boots and A big shout out to Dale who was super helpful so thank you!. Also thank you to Ilyas for helping me at the till and sorting out my discount code , nothing was too much trouble! Thanks very much !

I purchased a Peter Storm fleece with a hood and some things for my bike, when I paid the girl who put my things in a bag , she didn’t fold the item up and literally through it in the bag with the arm hanging out, I said your not very good at this are you! She rudely replied no.
I felt like saying I’ll have my money back and report you to the company manager, she was so rude, she did not deserve the job. Such a shame, you have a nice store that appeals to me.

Leah, Robin and Zac were all very helpful when helping me find equipment I needed for an up and coming hike. I appreciate the knowledge that they all have.

Super lovely staff and great stock. Had help with lots of colleagues as planning a hike around Scotland. Molly was very friendly at the tills, Robin, Zac and Leah were also helpful when it came to finding stock and helping out.

I received a email from GO-OUTDOORS about a discount on the item I purchased, when I arrived in the Kingston-Upon Thames store I spent about 15 minutes attempting to find the item at the discounted price but couldn’t, so I asked a staff member showing him the email, he didn’t seem very interested and told me the item was only available on line, I didn’t believe him because of his attitude and general demeanour so I asked another member of staff who appeared polite and positive she looked at my email and took me over to where the garment was and checked the price and confirmed that at the till the discounted price would show, I bought the item, if I took the advice of the first staff member I would have left without the item, I mentioned my discontent with him to the person at the till who was positive and engaging, he responded by saying that they know he is a poor performer but seemed unable to do anything about it - that’s the reason for my low score.
