I needed a warm long coat and some warm boots ready for a trip to Germany (where it’s currently getting VERY cold). Found a fabulously warm North Ridge coat that will do just the job.
I had seen some snow boots online but when I went in store initially they couldn’t be found. However, Freddie then hunted me out in the store as he had found them hidden under another pile of items in the storeroom. He was so helpful ensuring that I had a comfortable size and that I was happy - absolutely no pressure at all and nothing was too much trouble … Thank you Freddie.

We went twice looking at Berghaus waterproof jackets. kadi was very patient and helpful on both occasions. Good advice and great Black Friday prices

Not used go outdoors for a couple of years, however i ordered a couple of things two weeks ago wentvto collect and had no issues. Today however was pure jokes !
I placed order yesterday on thevwebsite to click and collect, two of the items were not in stock at the chosen store so i simply removed them from the basket and ordered what was in stock. On collecting in store today the brown trousers i ordered had changed colour, an assistant went to find the correct trousers but re appeared with grey and i said "oh well have grey then"at this point i had been at the till for over 10 minutes (my taxi had arrived and was calling me)
On trying to pay for the goods i was first told that my postcode was wrong to which i reokied that it wasnt, then a superior came and told me my postcode wasn't valid, i told them it was and i also told them id used the same address two weeks earlier without issue. This took another 10 minutes to andvfro, i was asked for thebemail address used and i gave it, only to be told that wasnt my email, all very frustrating as what should of been a quick click and colkect turned into a half hour ordeal. I showed my licence with my address but still go outdoorsctold me thats not an addeess, farcical doesnt come close. I then presented my membership / discount card and it was scanned, revealing the very same post code and email that i had been told for half an hour wasnt real !

Eventually i leftbwith the goods to find thevtaxi had charged me £10 waiting time, and later this evening i also discovered that the 40" waist trousers i purchased were actually 28" waist with a 40" leg !!!!! So i didnt get the correct colour i ordered, i didnt get the size i ordered, i had 30 minutes delay and £10 surcharge for go outdoors breakdown.....

A great selection of products with a good amount of choice in various sizes.
Today I was looking for some winter boot socks. George and Freddy in the footwear department were very friendly and knowledgeable on the range of brands available. They explained the difference between materials used. George helped me narrow my search down and the select the right pair of socks to suit my needs.

Although there was a bit of a wait to be helped with what appeared to be a lack of staff, once is was helped Freddie couldn’t have been any more helpful guiding me to buy the pair of walking boots I needed.

Nia was an absolute breath of fresh air today! I came in to buy a coat and she served me when I got to the til. She was cheerful, happy and smiley.... and even sold me a water bottle that I wasn't sure if I needed! She is a credit to the store. Please find more Nia's! Thank you for making my experience such a lovely one

I was served by a lovely gentlemen called Noah, when picking up a parcel on Sunday. He was kind, efficient and spoke to me about my day, which was really refreshing. Overall a good experience at GO Outdoors.

I visited the Go Outdoors branch in Gloucester recently and was served by Nia. I wanted to leave a review because her customer service was absolutely outstanding.
Nia was incredibly helpful, cheerful, and patient, answering all my questions with a genuine smile. It was an absolute joy to be served by her. The level of service I received was significantly better than my experiences at other Go Outdoors branches.
Staff like Nia are a huge asset to your team and make the shopping experience a pleasure. Thank you, Nia!

Nia served us at the till and despite the fact that it was 5 minutes before closing on a rainy Saturday evening, she was so smiley, friendly and helpful. She was very patient suggesting the different discounts available for various memberships eg Blue light and DoE leaders. A big saving too- many thanks!

Was served by sophie in the Gloucester branch.
Went in to return parcel to Amazon. Was very helpful she carried the package to drop off.
Sophie showed me the jackets on offer. I 4 of them for Christmas present.
Well done.

Asked for a coat, the last in its size, to be put aside for my daughter to try later on in the day, which was done without any question.
Returned with my daughter later in the day - perfect fit which saw a happy sale and satisfied customers.

Kia was wonderful with my energetic two year old, who had definitely had enough of shopping! She went out of her way to engage and distract him, making the experience so much easier. Kia also made my exchange process quick and straightforward, lovely service!

We went into store and could not have asked for more from Tim who helped us out. Dealt with every demand of an extremely excited boy looking to purchase a bike with his own money for the first time, a perfect gent! He even carried it over into the next day when the bike was collected.

All of the fishing stock was very low and just disappointing on all the bait and tackle but Kia the server was very polite and kind
