I was preparing to climb Killi and being a first time hiker I had to get all the gear. Noah and Millie were fantastic, really supported me to get me what I needed and advised how to layer up. Noah, in particular had the expert knowledge and was so patient in helping me buy what I needed for such a big adventure, and made sure I was comfortable as it was quite a big purchase in total. As I’m vegan and will not buy down or leather etc he took so much care to find me all the stuff I could buy looking at the material of each item. So professional, knowledgable and friendly. With little knowledge of camping equipment I needed guidance when purchasing a camping stove and all the necessary associated components that are required, and the young gentleman that assisted me was very helpful, always checking details with a colleague if unsure about anything. It’s great to get excellent one to one service and I would recommend anyone needing camping equipment to visit Go Outdoors in Erdington.

Amazing service from GO Outdoors Erdington! Siobhan was absolutely incredible — so kind, lovely, friendly and genuinely helpful. She took the time to listen to exactly what I needed for my camping trip and helped me find the best equipment without making me feel rushed or pressured. She was knowledgeable, patient and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.

Great service. Pointed me in the right direction for getting a coat for sitting at events by the shop floor staff and shauni was very pleasant on the till too.

Dont bother ordering on line wlith these i ordered some poles for my awning and was told they would be delivered in 2 days.3days later i got an email saying they cancelled my order but didnt explain why

The Erdington team always do everything they can to help. Best retail team I ever interact with. Even if there is an issue they make sure everything is resolves quickly and without hassle. Couldn't recommend more

Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent customer service that my husband and I received today whilst shopping at Erdington GoOutdoors. Staff were courteous and knowledgeable and gave helpful advice throughout. We were served by Emma and Sophie at the till and special thanks to the lovely lady who was the Duty Manager of the store who was with us throughout. Excellent experience.

The Gentleman on the footwear dept was a great help and committed to customer service. A pair of ‘Merrell’ walking shoes were purchased costing £150.00 also a backpack totalling £160.00 with use of our ‘go outdoors’ discount card… we proceeded to the checkout only to be greeted/ or not by a gloomy non verbal female assistant. There was no please or thank you, only grunts. She had to be reminded to take the alarm off the footwear and after doing so made no effort to place footwear back tidily into box leaving tissue paper messy. I purposely lingered after payment to put the shoes away tidily myself. We left the store both saying the same thing. That assistant had let down the pleasurable experience we felt earlier. I should definitely have a word with her on her manners. Other customers would be saying the same thing! On receipt it read. : Assistant: 027. Clerk: 006

Good selection of products at a good price however the customer service leaves much to be desired.

I had to roam around the store to find someone to bring out some boots and after asking questions about the product, I got the answer “I don’t know. It has been ages since I’ve been down there”. This gentleman then vanished after brining out my size so I ended up having to serve myself basically.

Worst yet was the lack of manners or interaction from the lady at the till who barely acknowledged me. Other than asking for my Membership card. I understand that customer service is often a tankless task but this is beyond the pale. I will no longer be shopping at this branch.

The team was very helpful, Bradley in particular did such a great job patiently showing me around and guiding me through the different options around my budget range.
