I was served by Jasmine at the Derby branch. She was extremely helpful and exceptionally patient when dealing with me and my daughter. She had excellent product knowledge and made our shopping experience very pleasant.

Can't fault the effort of Lee in store today. They were short staffed but Lee made a huge effort to help us with our queries on bikes. He was able to explain the advantages of getting a proper check of the bike we chose, and gave us all the time we needed to try it out before making our final decision. He made special effort to make us feel valued and looked after, even taking the time to check-in when we were waiting for a bike specialist to become available. We are very grateful and makes us remember why visiting a store is so much more of an experience than online!

Came in for some fishing line, only needed a tiny bit, saving me from buying a whole roll I won’t use, Andy cut me some off a damaged item free of charge. Legend

What i wanted wasn't on the sales floor, however sales assistant Mel went above and beyond to find me what I needed. It would have been a 5* but stock was hard to find and North Face rails empty.

Mel was super helpful. She guided me to the exact spot for the garment I was interested in. I walk with a stick and I am always leaving it in shops. Mel made sure I took it with me to the checkouts and even spotted that I had left it there. Mel made sure I had the right size garment and I am really enjoying my new Berghaus jacket,

I’ve been shopping at Go Outdoors Derby Wyvern for my horse feed and equestrian supplies since they opened. I probably visit a least once a fortnight if not weekly, and overall I’ve had a consistently great experience.

They stock a wide range of horse feed, rugs, boots, horse care products, stable equipment, quality tack, and rider clothing. They’re also always happy to order feed for you if it's not something they usually stock which is incredibly helpful.

The staff in the Naylor's section are always friendly and knowledgeable, and the team on the main tills are just as pleasant and helpful. Emma served me yesterday and was lovely, and on today’s visit the lady on the Naylor's section helped me choose and correctly fit a body protector — they even price matched it for me, which I really appreciated.

I’ve only had one minor negative experience with a staff member probably a couple of months ago. That was when there was nobody on the Naylor's till to take a feed order. The lady I asked was clearly annoyed that I was interrupting what she was doing so I went and found someone else. Other than that one occasion, the team have been consistently polite, approachable, and genuinely and willingly helpful.

I’m a very happy long-term customer and will definitely keep returning as it's the best place in this area in my opinion.

Went to buy some new walking boots for Nordic Walking today. The choice was great but for me a bit of the unknown - I didn’t know which one would be best.

Xaina from Go Outdoors was very calmly helpful - she was busy with lots of requests from customers for help and boots to fetch for trying on. She was delightful - professional, calm, diligent and made me feel like nothing was too much effort. Great service and Xaina was confidently knowledgable which helped me tremendously.

We were met pretty much on arrival by Layla who was absolutely excellent. My partner is a pain to buy shoes for, and after putting his much loved Scarpa's in the shed, resulting in mouldy boots, we came to replace them. She was helpful, funny and her customer service was brilliant. Thank you very much Layla, you were a breath of fresh air! I promise not yo put the new ones in the shed! Emily and Dave 😊

Staff were helpful and efficient with a return bought online and returned to shop.

I visited at the weekend to get some advice on boots and clothing for the 3 Peaks challenge in July, raising money for Miles for Smiles.

The very patient and expert advice from James and Mel was really appreciated and I left feeling better equipped and more confident than when I walked in !

Emma and Kat were very helpful and professional and friendly, even though they both had a very irate customer to deal with in front of us in the queue, they tried to calm him but he was totally unreasonable, he stomped off back into the store for a replacement item, well done for dealing with a nasty situation and quickly gaining pleasant composure,

The chap at the walking boots was very patient and helpful at Derby store and Gordan on the fishing section went above and beyond with advice and ideas for me. A great visit with great products at good prices.
