today I really needed some expert advice Tom and Emily really know there stuff Tom is clued up and lives a life climbing and camping in the most extreme conditions. The advice on the equipment I bought was absolutely spot on. really knowledgeable and profesional. Emily's manor and service was exceptional. I almost forgot I spend over a thousand pounds 😘

I ordered the item online and thought they’d have it in so I could collect but I had to wait over a week.I could have gotten one nearer to me do a couple of quid more

The store is spacious and well laid out. Staff are friendly. Bought a jacket today. Almost got charged £10 more as the till price was incorrect. Unfortunately the security tag had not been removed, but did not activate when I left the store. The tag may have ink in it so I need to travel approx 22miles for the store to remove it.

Had to make a bit of an emergency stop over to get husbands hydraulic bike brake fixed at go outdoors cycle section in Bury

From the moment we met Tom the technician he gave us a verbal quote and then promptly got on with fixing the brake despite any outstanding work schedule he may already have to do. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was full of advice on other matters too.
He told us it would be about an hour and true to his word it was done under the hour he then assisted in transporting the bikes back to ground floor level and ensured we received a discount for being members and part of caravan and camping club. What an outstanding service we had from him. Thank you Tom you made our day

Visited the Bury store today and was helped out by two very helpful members of staff. Neil in particular provided great help choosing a camping stove and demonstrated how to fit the gas. He took the time to ask what were we going to use it for and made sure we got something fit for us. Thank you!

We recently visited Go Outdoors in Bury looking for a suitable carrier for our three-year-old disabled grandson. We needed something extremely robust and, most importantly, we needed to make sure that the carrier fitted correctly and met all of his needs before leaving the store.

We were served by a gentleman called Neil, who was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain exactly how the carrier worked and using his experience and expertise to point out the important things we needed to consider.

Neil made sure we were confident using the carrier and helped us get it fitted correctly for our grandson. Thanks to his help, we were able to leave the store knowing we had chosen the right item.

Our grandson absolutely loves it, and it is going to be used many times as we enjoy exploring the hills and countryside across the North West of England.

A huge thank you to Neil for going above and beyond and providing such excellent customer service. It really made a difference to us and our family.

I bought a pair of boots from Vendy, knowledgeable and helpful although she was very busy, Luka on the till was very professional and helpful, thank you both.

Went in with my son who has just started fishing, something I know nothing about! We were served by Lee who couldn’t have been more helpful. He explained the essentials that my son needed all at a reasonable price just in case after a couple of go’s he changed his mind. He advised on other things like licenses as well. Lee provided excellent customer service and really helped my son understand more about his fishing.

Easy process - quick - simple

I was looking for an e bike to keep up with the grandkids riding uphill.
Originally went into the shop and spoke to David, who didn't work in the bike department but was really helpful.
Arranged to go back a few days later to speak to Tom.
He explained everything I needed to know. Very knowledgeable. Great customer service. Really helped me make my mind up after visiting several other shops.
I'm now the proud owner of my first e bike!

Absaloutely wonderful staff, when I asked for something without a box they explained their policy really nicely, clearly about their policies which was brilliant of them leaving me happy. I spoke to a manager as well to green light a purchase, to see if I could buy a display with no boxses to which they offered fully sealing it properly and following the policies and law to purchase it safely which she found a way to make us all happy.

Eeally happy with the customer service, following of policy and laws to which the staff and managers did a great job, I did an exchange effortlessly there, got the items I wanted and bought that little bit extra.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! I have severe mobility issues, and a member of staff kindly offered to carry my quite bulky purchase all the way from the click and collect desk right to my car, and loaded it in. 5 star service with a smile!

During my visit to the Bury store i was assisted by Tom who was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent advise on camping equipment.
He took the time to explain the best type of equipment for the activity I was doing.
