GO Outdoors - Bakewell (Express) Omdömen

Tom and Ruby were amazing today. I popped in as I had just arrived in Youlgreave to find out that I’d left my tent poles at home. Ruby was fabulous and showed me where the tents were and poles that I could buy as another option. So helpful and friendly. Tom came and did all the maths to work out how many poles I needed against the measurements of my tent. Couldn’t ask for a better service they were both brilliant and I now have roof over my head for the next five nights! Thank you so much… over and above expectations! ❤️

I received amazing help and assistance today from Tom and Ruby in your Bakewell Store. I required expert advice on how to deal with an emergency situation with my camping equipment. They came out tops outlining a number of options. I consequently could make a confident and fully considered decision which resulted in a purchase from the store which satisfactorily resolved the problem. They took time and patience which left me with an excellent impression of the quality service you offer.

Great service. Really fast to realise I’d like some help. Great advice on which boots for wide feet! Perfect!

Great service and I got exactly the trousers I was looking for. Cheers Roger

Great experience in store today. Was looking for trousers and a waterproof for my husband. Roger showed me all the suitable waterproof jackets, explained prices and differences. Waited patiently while I contacted my husband to make a choice. All done cheerfully. Very friendly. Also sorted out my details on the system which have been slightly wrong for 10 years! Roger worked out what was wrong and has updated it so finally I won't have any problems with my go outdoors card.

Ruby was very helpful over the phone and excellent in store - cheerful and a credit to customer service

very friendly and welcoming environment. Staff are very helpful and warm which makes it such a nice experience for when you’re doing a little shopping!! :)

Very helpful and friendly staff! We were served by James who was brilliant. He let us know about discounts and offers as well, wland ensured we got a great deal on our purchase. Thanks a lot, James!

I needed some new walking boots so called into the Bakewell store. James (shop assistant) couldn’t have been more helpful. I walked out of the shop with a new pair of Scarpa walking boots plus socks. Very impressed with the service.

Really lovely staff, James and Adam were very helpful and made for a pleasant shopping experience.

We were visiting to make some purchases for a Mission trip. All the staff were so helpful and Toby really helped to settle on the right shoes and waterproofs. We will definitely be back!

James was great offered us the club membership card so we could save more money! Will definitely visit again

We visited The Bakewell Store on Wednesday 12th September initially to purchase a new sleeping bag for my wife.
We were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Roger.
As there’s a sale on at the moment we decided to take a look around. We asked Roger to help us with our purchase choices, he was more than happy to advise and take out to display some of the items that we were looking at.
Roger was professional and friendly at all times and to be honest we wouldn’t have bought so many things a sleeping bag purchase finished with spending £712 in the store. We don’t actually live in Bakewell we live in Sandbach around 90 minutes away, so it would have been easier for us to buy from the store in Crewe. However as Roger had been so helpful and such a likeable man we decided that we would return to the Bakewell store on Sunday when he returned from a couple of days break.
Roger is a credit to the go outdoors team and I would recommend visiting the Bakewell store when you are in the area.
Many thanks,
Alan and Louise

Ruby was very helpfully and knowledgeable. She was very patient with my Dad very smiling and picked up on my Dad’s sense of humour. Nothing was to much trouble.

We were visiting Bakewell in our new motorhome and needed a folding table. We went into the store and a very helpful gentleman showed us where everything was we needed. He was a credit to your company, his customer service was delightful and very knowledgeable. Thank you James of Go Outdoors in Bakewell.

Bought a pair of walking shoes. Served by Roger ( the manager ?) very well. He seemed knowledgeable about the shoes and was helpful and patient.
Can’t ask for more really.

Roger helped us professionally to choose the right shoes for our hikes in the country. Very satisfied with the assortment of the shop too.

A great service from Ruby, who had a lovely smile, very pleasant manner and was a great help with our purchases, along with assisting us with the members card, and no pushy sales at all

Wonderful shop when you forgot a raincoat for your holidays in the UK😉 Great discounts and lovely help from James 🙌

James was extremely friendly and helpful when we visited the Bakewell store yesterday. He went over and above to ensure we had the correct product for our needs (we purchased a walking pole). He was extremely patient, courteous and genuinely lovely. I could not recommend him and the store enough. Thank you James and all at the Bakewell Go Outdoors. 😊
