This was a new fuse board, extra sockets and full electrical check of the property. We work well with vulnerable people and keep them informed every step of the way what we are doing and make sure they are comfortable before isolating electrics to carry out work. We are registered with Trading Standards buy with confidence and the vulnerable person scheme run by Devon and Cornwall Police.

Goodwin Electrical are expectional! Very friendly, extremely professional and proficient. I had complete trust and confidence in the work which was carried out, which was done in a timely manner. The work was done in a methodical way and problem solved all the issues which were presented to them. The work was explained to me throughout at every stage. They did a thorough and professional job throughout. Highly recommended!!

Thank you Alan. We were called to investigate tripping faults on two circuits. We worked over several hours to undo work carried out by an electrician on an insurance claim. We identified the tripping faults and rectified the problems. Then restoring the circuits back to their full potential.

Have had this firm in a number of times to do a few different jobs, always turn up when they say they will polite,punctual, clean up after themselves, reasonable price. Very happy with them and would highly recommend them to anyone

We are not the cheapest out there, however if you want the job done properly to the wiring regulations and are looking for a company with a strong back up when things go wrong Then call Goodwin Electrical. All our work is covered by a minimum 12 months warranty and have the backing of NICEIC which has the platinum price promise with 6 year warranty on notifiable work.

Rewired from scratch my Cafe. Professional job which included consulting with me to ensure that I had what I needed. Used his expertise to bring to my attention things I needed to account for. Thank you Daniel. This was a change in use for the premises so we carried out the research to bring the property up to a standard to meet the local authorities requirements and give Daniel what he needed to make sure he had a smooth running Cafe with easy access to sockets, lighting, cooker points etc.
We installed LED lighting and several light pendants with LED lamps, this makes a big difference with keeping bills down when using energy efficient LED lighting, a must for any business.
Great local company
Efficient, polite and good value for money - would definitely recommend!

Thank you. Was a pleasure to work on this project replacing old spot lights. We had the solution fitting quality LED down lights with over sized plates in chrome. Finished result looks great. We had a delay with waiting for the lights, however we did not let the customer down and finished on time.

Thank you Lance. We had space to fit the customer in at short notice and install lights the customer supplied. Confirmed with customer lights were to Part P of the building regulations before carrying out the installation. We always work to the Building regulations and wiring regulations to maintain customer safety.

Thank you Dave. This was a kitchen rewired ready for a new kitchen. There was a lot of work correcting wiring which had been installed to a poor standard. We installed new wiring to bring it up to the latest wiring regulations and made sure back boxes had their rubber grommets in. We also installed several new sockets (Hagar make with smooth round edges, we always quote using Hagar sockets and switches.
Bill Goodwin Electical have worked on several major building project for us and are exceptional.
We have worked with Bill Goodwin and his team on several major projects in recent years. Our experience with Goodwin Electical has been entirely posiitive, with absolutely no issues. We have worked with other electrical contractors over the years and in different parts of the country, and while generally satisfactory, it often took remedial work and more expenses to resolve problems they should have foreseen at the start. Bill has always proved to be exemplary to work with - from initial design, suggestions regarding optimal solutions, installation and 1st and 2nd fix, through to commissioning, testing and building regs approvals. His company are also very competitive in terms of the final cost of the job. His technical competence and knowledge of the regulations up to and including the 17th Edition, Amendment 3 and, going forward to the new 18th Edition is incomparable. He and his team willingly overcome any issues resulting from either the building design, installation complexity, or problems caused by other trades. Whenever possible, Goodwin Elecrical's is our first choice.

Thank you John for your review. This review really brings to the heart about what Goodwin Electrical are. We are not the cheapest, part of our cost relates to all the professional training we do and keeping up with the latest wiring regulations. NICEIC approved contractor is at the highest level. And hold a JIB Gold card which means we are expert electricians.
An electrical company who is only a domestic installer does not hold the City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and testing qualification. These means they are not qualified at the highest level in inspection and testing and cannot be registered as a NICEIC approved contractor.
So if you want a truly professional job with expert free advice then ask for Goodwin Electrical.
First Class friendly, competitive service
Very friendly service, trustworthy and honest. Reasonably priced for a great service. Being a single parent I am always apprehensive about Traders ripping me off, but I know I can rely on Goodwin Electrical as they off resonable prices for a 1st class service. Ive used them many times and they are always on time, and very professional.

Lights can be a tricky subject where we can give good advice which also needs a input from the customer to which lights they would like. We have the flexibility to be available on Saturdays and after hours to save the customer needing to take time off from work.

I had Goodwin Electrical Install and fit 8 downlights in my kitchen they are fantastic perfectly messured up and look the part with the highest quality to detail outstanding on cleanliness and all round fantastic father - son duo. Highly recommended no job is an issue

Thank you Adele for the Review. We install quality LED downlights and make sure we do careful calculations to get the LED lights where they will perform best and minimize shadows. Installing downlights with careful design will make any room stand out and make the owners feel much better. LED lights give instant light and are low energy.
