Will not replace faulty equipment
Go MAMMOTH refuse to replace the faulty basketball rims at our Hackney Downs league and hide behind school bureaucracy - it is their job to provide valid equipment for us to use. We all pay a lot of money and they clearly do not care.
Save your money and play elsewhere

Thanks for your feedback. We’re really sorry for the experience you’ve had at our basketball league. The condition of the rims has not met the standard we expect for our leagues.
To clarify, we do not own our venues and have been requesting repairs from the school every week for several months with no positive response. We’ve also sourced independent quotes to try to speed the process up and to fix the problems at our own cost but we completely understand how this impacts your matches.
As this situation is not acceptable to us either, we are moving the league to a new and improved venue next season to ensure reliable equipment and a better playing environment.
We genuinely apologise for the disruption and appreciate your patience while we’ve worked to resolve an issue.

Inconsistent service
I have been playing wifh GoMammoth for about 2 years. Their service is quite inconsistent. Some of the referees are good, some are not so good. The prices feel very high for short game times, which seem to be getting shorter. We used to be allowed to play until 930pm in my evening league and now they kick us out at 9pm. It's discouraging to hear that we're now paying the same price for half an hour less of time.

Go Mammoth are fantastic
Go Mammoth are fantastic. It’s great to be able to just turn up without worrying about bringing any equipment. The umpires are always friendly and fair, and the games are consistently good fun.

Value for money could be better
Great to have a space play and the level is good, but a bit too expensive for what it is. Would love to get a better value for money (more sessions in the league, more teams, etc)

A great way to socialise
Gomammoth is a great social sports organiser.
If new to London, it is a great way to make friends with a common passion/interest in a sport. Made great friends since I came to London 9 years ago.
I have played volleyball, Softball and dodgeball with them.

My experience has been great
My experience has been great. I’ve now played for two different leagues and really enjoyed it. The umpires are friendly and professional. The teams all get along and it’s easy to make friends there. Would highly recommend to everyone to get involved!

Fun playing volleyball
Everyone was at a similar skill level and the ref was very helpful and attentive, while also being laid back. Very quick moving and organized, we had lots of fun! I only wish I had received the schedule sooner and clearer instructions about how to get there - it took me a bit to find the address.

Great way to stay active and make friends
I’ve been playing netball with GO Mammoth in SW London for 5 years. It’s a great way to stay active and make friends. Many umpires are great and very highly trained but some are very new. Often we get both umpires but not always. The standard communication from GO mammoth is good but if things change they can be slow to inform people.

Fun, social mixed football league
Most GoMammoth leagues are really well run. Our experience playing at Somers Town has been great!
Our previous experience at Copenhagen Primary school wasn’t as good - but that was more down to venue issues which were out of GoMammoth’s hands.
Overall, I would definately recommend using GoMammoth!

Go Mammoth Basketball
Playing basketball at Go Mammoth is a good part of my life. The friendships I have made are invaluable. I have enjoyed it because it has given me competition. Since I started my first Late Summer League for basketball I have been matched against very good players. This has driven me to understand the game better and practice more. Although I still haven't managed to close the gap in ability and scoring points, I am still motivated to win more. It has also encouraged me to watch basketball games to learn from the best and apply it to my league games.
