This company is trash. Avoid at all costs.

The companies response to my review is a canned response. They have not contacted me about the issue. I actually followed up with their customer service and they were less than helpful. Awful customer service. Don't let their canned response fool you.

Bait and Switch gift cards

My Daughter bought me a $100 gift card at GolfNow for a Christmas gift in 2023. Unfortunately trying to use it in 2025 it will ONLY work for Hot Deal T-times which are late times. Of course this wasn't informed at time of gift card purchase and very difficult to find even on their current website. I called customer service which is of course overseas! Told them my frustration and got no where not to mention hard to understand the rep. I finally found that info in their Q&A section after gift card purchases June 6th, 2023 only hot deals! There's other product suppliers out there we'll be using them from now on. Nice Gift GolfNow!

Scam website

Scam website, they charged me for a tee time and then said it wasn’t available. Said I would get refunded in 2 days.

So disappointing

BOOK THROUGH THE COURSE

I used golf now as a teen and nowbat 34 started golfing a lot again. 30-40 rounds a season. Booked a course by mistake and canceled right away. They refunded my money but only to golf now. Also found out after I booked anither round and have those credit applied that it is now only for hot deals.

My money, sitting there but can only use for certain tee times now. I remember why I stopped using them and booked directly with the course. I've probably booked close to 50-80 rounds in my lifetime with them and they will do nothing to help you out.

This company conned me into a tee time…

This company conned me into a tee time on Wednesday instead of Sunday. the original date I had set on they're website before it had me create an account to book the time. I didnt notice when I returned to the checkout screen that it set it for Wednesday the day I was attempting to purchase the tee time at for Sunday. When I got the email conformation and realized it said Wednesday. They would not refund me saying that they can't refund for same day reservations. Terrible customer service. I would recommend staying far away from this site.

BEWARE!

BEWARE!! I am a member at my course and booked a tee time on the course website under my account and this resulted in a Golf now charging my visa. I attempted to get a refund and they would not refund my account.
I had recently booked numerous tee times this way with no isses or no Golf now reference or mention. Very dissapointed!!!

Tee times and rates are not honored

75% of the time a tee time and rate shows available but after booking it comes up with screen saying this tee time is not available. I can understand this happening every once in a while but this happens time and time again. Used to be really good but it seems after buying the upgrade golf pass their advertised tee times and prices are fake.

Scam Alert

Scam Alert – Avoid GolfNow!
I booked a tee time through GolfNow, paid $47, and showed up at the course—only to be told they don’t receive any money from GolfNow. When I contacted GolfNow for a refund, they claimed it was just a “convenience fee.” So basically, I paid $47 for nothing. Total scam. I’ll never book through them again, and I strongly recommend others stay away too.

Unfair fees and course won’t honor price

Not only did GolfNow charge me a $9 fee for booking a reservation, they also quoted me a price of $40 and when I got to the course, they said that was wrong and wouldn’t honor the discount. It ended up costing me more money, the course charged me $47 plus the $9 fee…

Terrible customer service and dishonesty

Terrible customer service and takes very long to receive an answer. Also they continue to advertise TaylorMade discounts for GolfPass users and they no longer provide them.
Poor service.

Seems like a scam

Tried to use a gift card and found multiple roadblocks to finding a tee time at the course I wanted. Neat way for Golfnow to scam consumers. Never use this company!

Golf now only offers tee times to a few of the courses in my area. Before you sign up, ensure they will provide access to the courses you play.

I cancelled a reservation through GolfNow, and through the golf course. I was charged anyway. This organization is one to steer clear of.

Call the course first.

Call the course first.. Golf now doesn’t tell you if they have aerated or they are doing maintenance. Course get 5 stars because the course will have people write reviews at the facility before they play.. play them then leave an honest review. I just played The Pearl in sunset beach NC.. Golf Now directions sent me to the middle of a subdivision 2.5 miles away. I also can’t use my useless points unless I join their service. Sometimes the deals are just as good if you call the course and ask them to match the GolfNow rate.

When I tried to book them, they all come back with the message: "Deal tee time no longer available." I tried more than 15 times. I requested the remaining balance and membership fee returned. The chat session ended with no response.
This is a bad business.

READ all of the fine print

READ all of the fine print, double check your cart before booking. I was on the Myrtle Beach GN site, booked a round for 2 at the Legends Resort. Required to pay in full at check out. Got to the course and and no reservation was found. I showed my phone confirmation at check in and the round was booked at the legends club in Indiana!. Called the course 650mi away and explained the conundrum, I was told they could not refund and to call GN. GN Cust service is apparently overseas, language barrier is formidable. Agent was nice, I was told that I was out of luck and after a little international diplomacy, she agreed to call the course. Could not refund but she was able the issue a credit for the amount which can only be used for the same type of booking. Being swayed by a $15 dollar greens fee discount was my fault, I'm out 106 as a result. I usually call the course directly or book on the course site, lesson learned. I cant explain what made me think GN was a good idea.

I was a VIP member for 10+ years/ NO MORE

I was a VIP member for 10+ years. I did not renew this April. Their new point system is garbage. I had 53000 points showing .Two weeks later I was going to rejoin with my points. My points then showed 18000. I called Golf Now and was told 36000 points had expired. I asked how that many points could expire in 2 weeks. They are supposed to last for one year. I didn't earn 36000 points in a two week span in 2024.I have looked at all my reservations for the past year. I totaled up all my points earned and any cancellations and got 55,000 points. My account shows only 18,000. I mentioned this to Golf Now and the person totaled them with me, He got the same result. He said someone would contact me in the next five days, It's been two weeks. So much for customer support. I did enjoy Golf Now for many years, even though they made it worse each year. I tell everyone to not join. With the booking fee you can book for maybe a couple dollars more by calling the clubhouse direct and have a choice of tee times. Do not use Golf Now / Golf Pass. I am now a member of my local club.

Rewards and Customer Service are terrible

It is a total waste of time trying to get any answers from "Customer Service". Their rewards and membership benefits are difficult enough to navigate, through all the hoops and conditions you need to do to use their coupons and rewards. But even when following their conditions for a promotion, you don't receive the promised reward. I have called CS 4 times now over the past week for the missing reward, and I have been told 4 different stories/promises. The non-US agents will not transfer you to a manager. There is no way I have found to email them about the issue, to get a documentation trail. There is no option to leave a survey for them about your experience. They know their customer service is terrible, and they just don't care.
