This company is a scam and fraud. Being a customer for about 10 years, I can attest to the following: customer service is fake, their phone number is for your messages, they never call back. The money you send them - say goodbye to it - Goldmoney treats your money as its own money. It took me two weeks to track the last money wire I sent them (the money wire itself took over time), but Goldmoney never acknowledged the money receipt or never posted the funds on my account! That's a customer's funds theft! When I finally tracked the funds delivery to Goldmoney in 2 week, and after Goldmoney refusal to let me use the funds to buy precious metals, I requested the immediate return of my funds. What happened after that? It took me another two weeks to finally see my funds deposited back onto my account, they blamed their partner RBC that transfers money for 2 weeks using wire. How is that possible? No assistance whatsoever from their Customer Service (non-existent), or their complaints@ or their support@ (your only option is to communicate with those emails).
I built a sizable investment portfolio with those crooks, and now my biggest concern is - will I be able to claim and get my funds back?! I have serious doubts. Most negative reviews attest to Goldmoney just robbing their customers at liquidation point, appropriating up to a third of their customer's portfolios.
Maybe at some point in the past, Goldmoney was an asset / wealth / precious metals investment and management company. Now it has moved into real-estate-acquisition-around-the-world-at-their-customers-expense unethical business entity with no customer support and accountability to their customers.
And remember Goldmoney rule - YOUR MONEY BECOMES GOLDMONEY'S AS SOON AS YOU SEND IT

Their online forms procedure isn't that easy to understand, IMHO.
Of course they need to follow their compliance rules with additional information and documents of proof.
It all went smoothly at the end thanks to the great guidance given by RM Ankush Bal.

My banking details were out of date, through no fault of GM, meaning my withdrawal transaction didn’t go through. I contacted GM support with the new IBAN details and once the transaction bounced back to them they swiftly completed the withdrawal. Nikita was excellent, thank you GM! 5 Star.

I had to update my name on my account and the rep did this without delay. I am quite happy with the quick response.

A problem with an outdated phone number was quickly and straightforwardly solved by the support team.

Nearly ten years with Goldmoney and just realised I and most of their clients have been had! This company helped themselves to ~15% of the value of my holdings upon redemption. They do not answer phone calls and in general are very poor communicators. Today makes one day short of one month and I have yet to receive the funds from my redemption. In contrast Kitco charged me a 2-3% redemption fee and I had my funds in two days!
Update April 27, 2025, Funds finally received 6.5 weeks after redemption. These folks are scammers, crooks, cheaters, under-bellies of the worse kind. I recommend everyone to avoid and if you have open business with them to exit asap.

This company took more than 10% of the value of my holdings upon redemption. They have refused to acknowledge or respond to my complaint. If you want to invest with a company that are just going to help themselves to your money, then you’ve come to the right place.

Nonetheless, the goldmoney fees were excessive.

The inactivity fines were such that after the price of gold more than doubled, I ended up with slightly less than I originally deposited. That seems confiscatory to me.

Very Irked!!! I have had my Goldmoney account for almost 10 years. The platform for upgrading from a Personal acct to a Holding acct. is cumbersome and frustrating. My bank account details are there, but I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks for my account to upgrade so I can redeem it, as I was advised that the personal accounts are closing. I now can't even access the page for the information upgrade. I would really appreciate hearing back from someone regarding the status of my account. Both phone #'s for the Toronto office are out of service.
