Nikita Samant consistently provides excellent customer service. Courteous, understanding, professional and responsive. Very nice to work with!

The website, however, could use an update. Statements/Transactions from the old BitGold accounts are not linked to the current Holdings accounts. Transactions are displayed in grams only, not the currency equivalents (which everyone besides the Gold world uses). Transactions are not downloadable in excel format. Just generally clunky.

I’ve been with Goldmoney since 2009 and…

I’ve been with Goldmoney since 2009 and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. I’ve had no problems selling bullion and withdrawing cash, within the range of £5000-£150,000. Cash withdrawals have been made promptly, and any queries I’ve had have been addressed promptly and satisfactorily.

Helpful service, clear communiations, easy to navigate

The relationship manager, Nikita, is knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. I avoided my account when silver was languishing, forgot how a lot of stuff worked, and when it pepped up – and i imagine the site was going crazy – she answered my questions patiently and helped me out. Without Nikita, this experience would've been infinitely more stressful. Still ironing out some third-party issues and Goldmoney has been supportive during the transfer process. Communications and updates are consistent and clear. The site is easy to navigate.

Not a transparent company

Goldmoney is a scam. They keep charging a percentage every time I try to withdraw. They call them verification fees. But these fees are selective and predatory. I went broke trying to make things right...and according to them, I still owe an outrageous amount. Stay away from this company. It says it's based in Canada. That's not exactly true...part of their offices are in Canada. The others are in the British Virgin Isles. Once I found that out, I realized I would never see my money again.

You don't truly own your gold as GoldMoney treats it as theirs

This company is a scam. Thinking they are a reputable precious metal storage business, I purchased and stored gold with them in their Singapore vault in 2017 drawn in by the fact that they had no storage fees. Over the years, they added steep storage fees and unilaterally transferred my gold to their Toronto vault without my authority. They then decided to close down personal accounts such as mine and unilaterally liquidated my gold holdings in early 2025 just before the runup in gold prices. At the end, they took half my gold possession with their fees and sold my gold without my authorization just before the sudden surge in gold value so that they can pocket the appreciation themselves. When I called to complain, they said they have the right to do it in their agreement as they can unilaterally change their agreement without my consent. GoldMoney fails at its core mission, which is to store gold for its customers. Instead, they consider they have the right to your stored gold as their agreement allows them move it to any vault they want and sell it at any time they want by simply closing your account and freezing its value on that day. Just imagine a storage company that feels they have the right to relocate your stored possessions to wherever they want and to sell it whenever they want just by closing down your account. That's how GoldMoney operates.

Helpful through a time of transition

Goldmoney has been very helpful during a challenging time as I transferred account ownership. The steps necessary were logical, protective and clear. The customer was quick and clear as well.

Sehr hohe Gebühren, und "Zwangsvereinahmung" des eigenen Geldes

1. Ich zahlte Geld ein um ggf. Metall zu kaufen , wenn ich es möchte!
2. Ich wollte kein Metall kaufen und durfte mein eigenes Geld nicht zurück auf mein Bankkonto überweisen.
3. Ich kaufte zwangsläufig Gold und Silber .
4. Es waren nicht nur 0,25 Prozent sondern es gibt eine monatliche Mindest (Zwangsgebühr)Gebühr von ca. 10 US Dollar.
5. Ich habe jetzt zwangsverkauft weil die Gebühren mein Guthaben ca. 550 Euro Einsatz an Gold und Silber Verzehren. Ich habe nach ca. 8 Wochen 20 % Verlust für h die Zwangsgebühr und den Zwangsverkauf gemacht.
6. Ich hoffe ich bekomme jetzt die 80 Prozent, habe Orders zum Verkauf gesetzt , sonst muss ich einen Anwalt einschalten.
Nachtrag:
Die Gebühren habe ich nie gesehen, stehen wahrscheinlich versteckt irgendwo.
Ich habe eben den Rest von 550 Euro was noch 465 Euro sind zurück überwiesen auf mein Konto meiner Bank und es gibt eine Gebühr von 25 Euro!!!
Morgen werden ich versuchen das Konto zu kündigen, bestimmt gibt es eine Gebühr.

We certainly understand that our withdrawal requirements can be frustrating for clients, and that not all clients will agree with the minimum monthly fees, which is why we strongly urge all clients to review all funding policies, the Fee Schedule and the Client Agreement before opening a Holding.

I had a great experience with Ankush Bal who is a relationship manager at GoldMoney. My wife and I haven't used my account In many years and needed to go through a verification process. Nobody likes these things, but Ankush was very responsive and helpful and we managed to unlock the account. Thank You Ankush :-)
