This app has changed my life. I've always struggled with procrastination based on anxiety. Now with focusmate I'm getting my physical therapy exercises done, chores and everything else I would procrastinate about. I've even been able to get into a daily creating art habit. Yes there are some no shows or folks I don't mesh with. However that's what snooze and reporting is for. I love that I can ask for women only. I love meeting people from all over the world. I show up for my focusmate and end up showing up for myself. So grateful for this app. Also love that you can favorite people and start connecting more with them by booking sessions ahead of time. Also with any issues the customer service is quick and very helpful.

Focusmate has been a gamechanger to deal with distractions. It allows me to work deeply and if I start my day with 2-3 consecutive session time-blocking each session for a particular task, I feel like I have accomplished more than I would in a normal day filled with distractions.

It's a really cool co-working platform with a wonderful and supportive community. I got lots of work done on here. :)

I was introduced to Focusmate by a study buddy. After trying it out for months, I saw a clear difference in my productivity. During sessions, I found myself focused on one simple task at a time and holding myself accountable. I live with anxiety, and that leads me to procrastinate things that matter the most. Focusmate helped me manage that. This is an excellent tool that helped me stay productive and navigate this challenging stage in my life.

Focusmate has been a game changer in my productivity. As someone with ADHD my procrastination and distraction had gotten to the point of seriously impacting my life-- once I found out about focusmate the accountability has at least doubled my ability to get boring but necessary tasks done. Seeing people from all over the world is a fun bonus too.

Having to decide on a very short-term, concrete goal and articulate it aloud helps me think clearly, strategically, and realistically. Then having a stranger with a goal of their own to focus alongside and be accountable to, helps me click into focus mode. Rinse, repeat. I have used it to chip away little by little at so many large or intimidating projects.

I started my premium subscription after a couple months of using the tool regularly while working remote, and will probably use it forever! I trust myself now to get things done, and the people I work with do too.

It's great having the accountability to keep on tasks and to speak your goals out aloud to your focus partner and then review your progress at the end. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing platform and I have had great experiences with it. I hope the community stays the way it does because it has really helped me to focus and stay on track. The customer service has also been amazing - fast responses and really helpful. They even offer scholarships to students.

Perfectly simple interface! This peer accountability to my own goals/tasks is incredibly helpful. I'm now aware of the need to develop my own discipline :-)

I really appreciate the accountability of focusmate, that I start out stating my goal for the session and then have to report in at the end of what I actually accomplished. It helps me to understand realistically how long things take me and also gives me just enough time and competition to push myself to get things done. I use it for when I really don’t have motivation to get grading done.

It is an amazing platform; It has totally changed my way of working. I've been working remotely for a while and it has helped me a lot to concentrate, also to pursue short goals.
I have also met people doing very interesting things, or with interests similar to mine, such as writing. The premium version is totally worth it.
