First Class Service from Fleetmaxx
Tom has been my contact from my first enquiry through to managing my account since then. He has been excellent and communicates very well and has been keen to ensure that I have the necessary reports and data to assist me with my Fleet Management at S W Hygiene. Really good pricing of fuel and a weekly email in advance to let me know where the fuel price is going for the following week. Really is a first class service at Fleetmaxx.

Check your invoices
Check your invoices. We weren’t aware that prices can be higher than actual price at the petrol station. We had to fill the car with supreme diesel (petrol station run out with standard diesel). The original total at the petrol station was £129.73 but Fleetmaxx charges us £153.82. Which is horrendous expensive. Bear in mind that was explained at the start that the fuel/diesel is a lot cheaper through them, nothing mentioned about supreme diesel. I checked the bills after this shocking find and it’s not worse it to go through of them. Save me £1 most of the time. Very disappointed.

It was an easy process dealing with fleetmax. Jamie made the process from application to the issue of cards very easy. I currently use them for fuel only, but I'll be purchasing bulk adblue in the future and discussing telematics.

Fantastic service. I've been using fleetmaxx for a couple of months now. There fuel prices are always there, or thereabouts. Jamie checks in weekly to see how price compares, and always tries his best to either match or beat the price of the other fuel card company I use. Highly recommended.

This company is a mess
This company is a mess!
I was offered a fuel card with credit already on it when i signed up to checkatrade, i used the credit thinking everything was fine but then realised that their prices were cheaper at the pump so sent them an email to confirm i no longer wanted the card.
Took me 3 attempts to get my account closed down as whoever i spoke to said they would do it and they didn't.
I thought that was the end of it, 12 months after my account being closed i get an email from a guy called steve saying i owe them £13.77p from a transaction at a fuel station in OCTOBER 2023!!!!
I called him to ask what this was for and he sent me a statement, i replied and said but this was a pre pay card so how can i go over the balance on the card?
Apparently some stations do allow you to go over the limit that's on the card, that should not be allowed to happen and i don't even remember the transaction, who remembers what date they put fuel in their car especially after 12 months!
I asked if they could just write it off as firstly i haven't had an account with them for over a year and secondly i knew nothing about this charge, he said no and if i didn't pay it they would take 'further' action.
I know i could leave it and let them chase me for £13 but running a business is hard enough and i can't be bothered with the paperwork so i will pay but told them i'd leave an accurate review.
This is accurate!

Very disappointing service
I have tried to work with this company on 2 occasions now. First attempt the set up process was quick and simple but the cards never worked when they arrived, took 2 months to get them working, I have given up at this point.
Recently gave them another chance. Again set up was nice and quick. Cards took around 3 weeks to arrive which is not an issue. Cards worked for around 1 week and now all stoped working and our account closed, no contact from the company at all and now won’t return calls, I thought these were a professional outfit but clearly not.
