Excellent bike at the best price…
Excellent bike at the best price around, and I did a lot of research. This was a gift for my husband who is a large man and is tough on things. I had nothing to worry about. He rides every morning and is very comfortable on his bike. Very easy to assemble!
The service I received from the staff…
The service I received from the staff at Firmstrong Bike totally exceeded my expectations. I ordered two bikes for my daughters. The bikes came with whitewall tires and they replaced them with black walls at no charge. The bikes arrived in a timely manner and my daughters are very happy with how they look and ride.

Great easy ride!
I have ordered these bikes as gifts and most recently for our home during Covid quarantine. They are well made and easy to assemble. They provide a nice comfortable ride but are not, without gears, to be used in mountainous areas. Best used on flat roads/surfaces.

Great bike with beautiful options. Company was very helpful with all steps of the transaction and also responsive to calls. They helped us assemble the bike and I would definitely purchase from them again. My daughter loves her bike!
Love my bike - steady cruising
The bike came in a lot of pieces and I thought there was no way I would be able to put it together but I did! It’s a great cruiser and it’s nice to be able to ride with my son. The steering is smooth. Overall, a great bike and I would recommend.
Be kind...it's a rare thing these days
Be kind...it's a rare thing these days. I ordered 2 bikes back in May and one got delivered in late Aug and the other yesterday. The bikes are exactly as described and are wonderful to ride. I admit, their communications could have been a lot better (understatement) but given you couldn't find a bicycle anywhere for months on end, I expected the delay and I'm happy with my purchases. With so many businesses going out of business b/c of this pandemic, I'm happy to support all American businesses. My hope is that Firmstrong recognizes that a little communication could go a long way in keeping people happy b/c their product is awesome.
Covid or no Covid, this was a bad purchase...
I placed an order for a bike that had a shipping date of 6/9/20. I then received an email stating that it would ship on 8/21/20, then another email stating it would ship in 8/31/20. Then the emails stopped. I emailed Firmstrong asking for an update and they said there is no tentative shipping date. Out of curiosity, I went online to see if there were any other model bikes available and to my surprise, the bike I ordered that was once "sold out" showed that it was available in my color and one other color. However, when I called Firmstrong to confirm, they said that the website was wrong. They have no bikes, yet the website would have allowed me to purchase a bike that didn't exist??????. I finally decided to call and ask for a refund. They said they would process the refund in 7-10days.
Refund issued in Timely Manner
I ordered a bike (and paid for it) May 18,2020. It was supposed to ship June 8th. I did get email updates every week for the first couple months pushing the date out again and again. When the emails stopped I called them and was told they had no idea when the bikes would be shipped because the manufacturer was unresponsive. I cancelled the order online via the Google Document and received my refund email about 2 days later and then received my credit about 3 days after that. So overall the company treated me very fairly - just wish I had gotten a bike!

I having a terrible experience with FirmStrong bikes. We order our bike on 5/21/02 and it was promised in late June. I now just got an email that it will be once again delayed until 10/28/20 after not hearing from them for over 2 months and only getting the computer generated email only after I sent a tracking request. Everyone else seems to be getting their bike in a month or 2. May I please get mine.
Incredibly frustrated. Order number is FS8213 and it was ordered from Firmstrong on 5/21/20.
Mixed feelings
I have mixed feelings about this company. Preordered on 8/9 for an 8/17 estimated ship date. I could see in my FedEx account that labels were created on 8/20 for both bikes I ordered. One bike was picked up on 8/23 and delivered 8/29. The other bike didn't get picked up until 8/28 and delivered 9/5. The FedEx delivery length I understand, but I take issue with how long it took for the second bike to get picked up. According to the VERY LONG "explanatory" email the owner sends with many excuses on basically why their customer service and delivery lacks (i.e., blame FedEx), FedEx can't pick up all the bikes the company is trying to ship. However, it seems like there could be work done to resolve that issue. I had to contact customer service twice and had a quick personal response to the first and for the second got the same canned email previously mentioned without a personal response. I understand that nobody anticipated a national demand for bikes and they are working hard to keep up. Overall, it sounds like I was very fortunate to actually receive my order and fairly quickly. I just wasn't thrilled with their customer service approach.
ETA: be sure to check your bike as soon as it comes. The company has a zillion ifs ands and buts for reporting damage. One of our bikes has damage, but we did not open it and discover it in time. That is on us, but I suspect they have a lot of defects and issues. Also, I noticed all of the recent 5 star reviews were from customers who were invited to review :)
Positive experience
Just wanted to say I am happy with my purchase. Pre ordered on 8/10 to be delivered on 8/22 They were late shipping it out but I sent an email inquiring and got a reply in two days saying it would be shipped and I would get an email. Got the email it shipped but it got stuck in Chicago for 2 days but it eventually got here. The bike was in good shape from shipping. My boyfriend put it together. He didn’t have all the correct tools( as some have complained about because you need metric) but he got it done. Seems like good quality for the price! I’m looking forward to riding. So I may have been lucky or it’s because I ordered from Firmstrong direct or they have finally gotten caught up. But so far a positive experience😄
Tired of the excuses
I ordered my bike on May 17. The last I heard it was tentatively supposed to ship on August 31. That email was about 3 weeks ago and no word since. Are you truly a legitimate company? Or are you just scamming people out of their money. I paid through Pay Pal so I am protected although I don’t want a refund. I want the bike that I ordered. I feel that I have waited long enough. I do understand the problems with COVID 19 and Fed Ex deliveries but this is getting old now. I know there were manufacturing problems but come on. Enough already. I know there are many other people in my situation. This is not fair to any of us. I’m tired of receiving computer generated emails saying the same thing. Promising that I will be contacted soon by an agent. I never get contacted by anyone. I’ve ordered things from other sites and received my merchandise no problem from a Fed Ex delivery so I know they are delivering. I would really appreciate a response ASAP. From a real person who can help me. This whole situation is ridiculous and someone needs to find a solution to it.
No help weak bike,
Sent email and called company for customer support and received zero help. One of the worse customer service events I have ever had. Left crank arm broke at pedal while riding and I took a fall. Tried to order or gets specks on crank set that fits my bruiser. Company rep said they could not help me to go to the retailer,I bought the bike through (Walmart). I told her I would buy a new one from them, she said that they did not have a purchasable (forged) crankset to supply me (No parts?), I asked her if she could give me the specs of the crankset, so I could purchase a new crankset elsewhere. She said they did not offer that kind of support either, go back to Walmart ( I bought a Firmstrong bike, go to Walmart for parts and information ?).I also have had issues with the spokes on this bike, as other readers have mentioned. Bottom line, lousy customer support, and unfortunately cheaply built bike, Bruiser does not live up to its name.
I placed my order May 16th
I placed my order May 16th. Haven’t received my bike. I get it, corona. But they first sent out emails saying hey! Your bike is coming, then it’s delayed, then it’s not coming but we will send weekly updates. My last update was over 2 weeks ago. So I Reluctantly filled out the form for a refund. I really wanted to wait, but then I started getting worried since I haven’t heard from them, and $250 is a lot for me to spend as a single mama on a bike for myself. So I just find it funny that they took my money right away, not after delivery or shipment like all the clothes I order, but after filling out the form there’s a message that pretty much says, now your in line for your refund. 🙄. I really hope this line isn’t as long as the one to receive a bike.

Great bikes, great pricing! I have bought several for myself, family and friends. Well built quality bikes. As good as Electra and Nirve at a fraction of the price.

Bought Firmstrong Bruiser in like new condition from a neighbor. Looks great. Worked well for two months. Cheap spokes popped on rear wheel and wheel warped after two months. Now the bike is unrideable. Firmstrong won't replace the broken rear wheel because I didn't buy the bike directly from them. They don't stand behind their product because it is made cheaply and won't last. Beware. You get what you pay for.

Ordered a bike in may which said would ship on June 8th which is the only reason I ordered form this company. I received 2 different emails which stated my order would ship on schedule. The passed and no shipping details so I contacted them, they now tell me August 21st. Absolutely horrible customer service. I will never do business with them again.
