Same issue as the other reviews. Placed an order end of Feb, never arrived, phoned and left a message no reply, emailed - no reply, another 2 phone calls, the first I was told it'd have to be sent again, still nothing a week later, 2nd phone call I asked for a refund, was told it had been processed, still no refund arrived. Logged a dispute through my bank who have refunded it for me, thank you Chase. In the end I had to order from a reputable supplier which arrived within a couple of days. How these people are still allowed to trade amazes me when you read of so many poor experiences, just wish I'd done that first.

Nothing has arrived after two months. Have lost £250. I have been promised delivery an two 'phone calls I made to the "Shop" They do not respond to emails either. I have now checked my previous order which cost £125 and find the box contains two bottles which you can buy in most supermarkets for £17 a bottle, not the bottles that were advertised. I'm more annoyed with myself for responding to special offers! I feel a complete prat!

Something has gone wrong here. The first time I used them, they were fine. The second, I received a part of my order in Jan (due to stock issues), and nothing since. They no longer seem to respond to email or phone.

I don't think this website is genuine. Money is withdrawn and nothing is delivered. The specials offers and free delivery drew me to buy with them. Silly me, I should have known better!

Been waiting for a delivery for nearly 4 weeks now. There’s radio silence when you contact them, no way to actually speak to anyone who knows what is going on. I had a delivery notification last week from Parcelforce, however after it wasn’t delivered I contacted them and they explained that the item was still with Findlays. After seeing a few reviews with the same issue, I’m now wondering if they actually have these items to sell, or is this part of a wider scam? 100% avoid ordering from these. I can’t even get in touch with anyone to get a refund. Disgraceful

ABSOLOUTE A DISGRACE OF A COMPANY. I ordered a bottle of wine as a present for Valentine's day on 27th January and still have not received my order and it's the 3rd March. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I have made an order about a month ago and unlike the 3-5 days guaranteed delivery, I'm still waiting for my order. I have called several times but unfortunately the owner called James was not in and the staff could not give me a reason why I haven't received my order saying they would leave a message for the owner but he never got back to me. I'm worried about a scam about this business. How can you a business can not give a explanation where is your order? If they are desperate for £23, I could donate to them,no problem but you don't leave your customers without any explanation

This company is NOT a scam!!
I am writing this review to try and put buyers mind at rest if they are awaiting delivery.
I too was a person whose delivery was late so I called the company and left a rather rude message which isn’t like me and I’m ashamed to be honest.
Within minutes the owner James called me back and explained the issues with the couriers.
He was such a humble, honest man who understood that I was expecting it for party at the weekend.
This man called me back after an hour and assured me my order be here.
I got a knock on the door this morning and my wine has arrived a day early!!
My advice to you is that if it is late it’s probably because he’s had to extend delivery window ,give it a few more days or contact James and leave him a message and he will return your call, it’s a small business so he might not be able to answer straight away.
I’m blown away with the excellent customer service and will definitely be ordering from this company again.

Ordered the wine last week, arrived yesterday as communicated.

I place an order on 13 of December 2024. The order was late in the delivery the bottle was broken on the way. But I didn’t received any call or update. I called to the number and one person told me that the bottle was broken and the next delivery will be before Xmas day. But the bottle didn’t arrived after. I call again in January (around 10th) and the run out stock. So mean that they never safe my order when they have stock. Also they said I will received last week but nothing come. Can’t be more disappointed. Really bad service, but engage with the costumer and very bag in general.

Wish I had looked at the reviews before ordering.

I placed an order for 1 bottle of wine 11 days ago. It is still undelivered. All emails to them get a generic response to phone the company number , which goes to voicemail every time. Shocking service.

This is a UK company and I am a UK address, so the lack of delivery or contact from this company is unacceptable.

You could have crushed and formented your own grapes quicker 🤣

My advice is totally avoid and stick to a supermarket or Amazon. Less hassle and reliable.

I called to chase my order after it didn't arrive by the date specified on my confirmation email, the gent i spoke to was very helpful and told me they had been having difficulty with the couriers. He placed an urgent order from the suppliers which arrived with me the following day.

Had an issue with order not being delivered last week, called and no answer 4 times called so then look here and panic a bit before calling back. James told me they have been having issues with couriers and shop been there for 50 years so not a scam. Today delivered an 18yr old Elijah Craig instead of the 12yr old I paid for. No other company I have ever dealt with would make such a big offer of compensation, truly they are looking to make amends for the courier issues and from someone who deals with 3rd party hauliers for own company can appreciate this is issue affecting your own company reputation

Please don't buy from this place. I bought a very expensive bottle of wine from here and I haven't received it.
I can't get in touch with the place.
Telephoned, emailed. All the usual ways. Nothing back

Terrible, total scammers.
It's got a great website nothing to get my spidy senses on edge.
Just keep scrolling past the name, find a different wine merchant.

No communication whatsoever, no update on the order since December 20th.

Nothing delivered, no comms telephone unanswered. Have raised a complaint with my credit card co.

I think this has been taken over by scammers. Took hundreds of pounds off me then silence. It’s been weeks now. No comms, tried phone email and WhatsApp. Nothing dispatched, no updates. I think they’ve taken a load of Christmas cash and done a runner instead of fulfilling their orders. Dreadful

Didn't receive the wine I ordered or the refund which was refunded on 16th Dec, now 2nd Jan.
Not 1 email answered, tried calling today with no answer and mailbox full message, I assume with complaints.
Absolutely awful company who still owe me £85.
No customer service whatsoever.

Very poor service.
I am the same as some of the others on here. Placed an order on the 20th December knowing fully its Christmas and delays but was informed it would be delivered between the 24th and 27. Having a few people here today the 28th so thought its enough time.
On the 27th tracking says same. But nothing arrived, checked this morning now says delivery tomorrow 29th.
Do yourself a favour, pay a little extra and order from someone else.
Wont recommend and wont be ordering from here again.

Ordered a bottle of whiskey in plenty of time for Christmas but never delivered despite emails and the requested Whatsapp message. Messaged to cancel and no acknowledgement but my order now can't be found so hope at least to get a refund without having to do a chargeback. Don't take orders when you know you can't fulfil them or at least have the courtesy to answer queries. Avoid this company.
