Ik wil positief zijn. Heb goede ervaring met Fastned. Dat het geen 5 sterren zijn is omdat hun CarPlay app. in feite geen routeplanner is, hij brengt je namelijk alleen maar naar een van hun stations en dat is zeer jammer en niet nodig omdat de app in de iPhone wel een echte goede EV routeplanner is. En daar is grote behoefte aan temeer omdat aan de huidige EV CarPlay routeplanners allemaal forse nadelen kleven en daarmee bedoel ik inhoudelijk en niet de kosten.

The prospectus on their own website is also lacking a prospectus-number, although they state that their prospectus is approved by the AFM. Everybody can state this on an A4 piece of paper.

As a show of trust, they have an url of the contactpage of the AFM.

Looks like fraud to me or at least stating incorrect properties of the product.

I don't normally write bad reviews for an interview experience but this one had to go public.

Please dont waste your time with the recruitment process of this company. The evaluation is baseless and pointless.

After an initial call with the recruiter, I was given an assignment to work on. It was a chargers dashboard to implement as per the figma provided. The Backend API was provided by the team with the gitlab repo.

First: The API provided by them lacked CORS authorization, and hence while developing had to email the recruiter to ask the BE team to make changes. They did and I continued.

Second: Even other APIs were not CORS authorized so I again had to reach out to the recruiter for the same.

Third: The API itself was not well designed as per HTTP standards.

Once I submitted the assignment, it took them 3 weeks to reach back to me with the results because the “developer” who was supposed to evaluate my assignment was on vacation.

The assignment was in itself a tedious task because they expect you to use what they are already using like tanstack table, tanstack query, react-hook-form etc. Along with that they want it to be 99.99999% to be as per the figma design that they provide.

I got a feeling that it was a task that they were assigned by product and wanted a candidate to complete the task for them. The closest matching code they will fork, make minute changes and merge in the main branch.

After 3 weeks , they came back with the result and rejected me by giving the following lame reasons:

1. Font family used was different than given in figma
2. No toast message when adding or removing a charger(although i had mentioned in comments and readme that this can be a future improvement)
3. No title tag in the html within layout.tsx

Although they gave good feedback about the overall project and the functionality. They agreed that everything works as it was supposed to be in the requirement document.

The reason for rejection is the lamest I have ever heard from any tech company. If some company is rejecting me for using the wrong font-family, MAN! I would like to stay away from that organization.

I think first the devs at fastned need to work on themselves to provide a robust BE to start the assignment and not commit changes to the assignment while the candidate is working on them. They were highly unprofessional.

Trust me guys, no matter how much in need of a job you are, try your luck some other place. They are just getting their product stories completed from candidates while themselves enjoying vacations.

The overall process from HR call to assignment evaluation result took unnecessarily 1 month. POINTLESS!

Nieuwe auto in account aanmelden lukt pas na een week. De oude auto verwijderen met het bijbehorende abonnement (Gold membership) zorgt voor een vastgelopen app.
Op mail van een week geleden nog geen reactie. Helpdesk weet niks en kan niks. We zullen het escaleren naar het hoofdkantoor...

Heb een andere perceptie van een heldesk!
Zou toch zeggen dat ik niet de eerste ben met een nieuwe auto....

Ze verschuilen zich door een ander de schuld te geven van deze reclame.
PAS OP EN NIET DOEN
Waarschijnlijk grote oplichting.
