Everything was as expected. I was attended to immediately on arrival and within 5 minutes my vehicle was in and being worked on

I took my vehicle in to Ryan and his team two days before Christmas because a warning light came on for my ABS braking system. The service I received was terrific. I had decided to also get the car properly serviced and the guys did a great job taking me through what was needed, why, the costs, and - when I said I was stressed about the total cost - how I could access their 0% financing options. They also fitted a sensor for free. Getting spare parts seemed to be no issue and they were great at communicating with me. Highly rated and will use again!

Ryan and his team were more than helpful when replacing two tyres on our car and curing leaking rear tyres. They were all polite and efficient in carrying out the work whilst my wife and I sat in the warm and comfortable waiting room. It’s so nice to be treated so well at this type of garage - well done to all.

Poor service I've got,order a tyre ahead of time,came early at the shop more than 15mins early and then staff told me that the tyre didn't arrived without informing costumer ahead of time

Had an MOT/Service in the Salisbury branch today

The Staff kept me informed about parts that needed replacing as part of the MOT and did the work today to which I’m grateful for, yet upon collection of my car, I noticed on the MOT report as an advisory my Bonnet release cable was broken, which was fully working before it came in for a Service, the cable was left dangling in the drivers footwell and could have got trapped under a pedal, there was no attempt to repair it or inform me that they had broken it. Second part of this is to report damage to my car while it was in F1autocentres care, the front left side of my bumper now has a scrape along it, about 3 inches long and and 3 inches high, I made one of the Mechanics aware and he informed me they don’t have access to the CCTV. Third part, I was also informed by the Mechanic doing the repair that I required two drop links to go with the two new wishbones (as they replace in pairs) i had replaced, but on inspection i have only had one side replaced with the left side still the old part. Fourth part, The under tray wasn’t fitted correctly and they used tie wraps to hold it up instead of the fitting plugs which were all there 2 days before the service, so the under tray was loose and banging against the base of the engine as you drove along.

So apart from the cost of the service today just short of £800, I now have to get my bonnet cable fixed at quoted £87 plus fitting and a respray for my bumper/wheel arch quoted £300, £16.50 plus fitting for the Drop link and £5 for the undertray plugs, leaving me more out of pocket.

Still no contact from the branch about the damaged they did or copies of the CCTV.

I contacted their customer service and still waiting for a response and resolution to this, I have spoken with my insurance company who have advised me that Legal action can be taken.

As a taxi driver running my own service, ensuring my car is in top condition is essential. Yesterday, I went to Formula 1 Garage for my MOT test and unfortunately failed due to needing two rear shock absorbers.
First, I was quoted £507 to replace the shock absorbers, a figure I found exorbitant. A quick check at local suppliers like Halfords, Euro Car Parts, and Dorset Car Parts showed that these parts could be purchased much cheaper. For example, Halfords, which is just a minute away from Formula 1 Garage, offers original parts for £89 each. Similarly, Monroe premium brand parts are available at Euro Car Parts for the same price, with delivery within an hour to the garage. (On AUTODOC, they are £40, but that's a different story with delivery.)
Given this, I questioned the garage on their pricing. They were charging £126.75 per shock absorber, which is significantly higher than the local market price. After voicing my concerns about the initial £507 quote, the garage reduced the price to £471.42. While this was a slight improvement, it still felt like a con. The reason I say this is because after an MOT failure, I'm unable to work. I can't pick up passengers until the issue is fixed in the garage on the same day. Though I have a 10-day window to address the issue, not being able to work during this period severely impacts my livelihood as a taxi driver. The mechanic explained that each shock absorber would take about an hour to replace. Even factoring in labor costs, the price seemed unjustifiably steep.
I understand that businesses have overheads to cover, just as I have my trade insurance and licenses. However, the markup on parts and labor felt like a blatant Rip-Off. As someone who values fair pricing and transparency, I found this experience extremely frustrating.
In conclusion, my visit to Formula 1 Garage left me feeling taken advantage of. The price disparity between their quote and the actual cost of parts and reasonable labor was too great to ignore. I believe customers deserve fair treatment and honest pricing, which was sorely lacking in my experience.
I hope this review helps others make informed decisions and encourages the garage to reassess their pricing strategy.

They matched a competitor’s price and refunded me £138.63, which I greatly appreciate. I went to formula one in Salisbury as no one would replace my wing mirror due to it being a mini. Within moments of being in the place I was made to feel so calm and welcome by the staff. They had fixed it for me in under 5 minutes of being booked it. Will be going back here for anything I need

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with this guy he has no idea how to treat a loyal customer. As a regular, I expected better service.

I booked a full service and went there early in the morning to drop off my keys. The guy opening the store was incredibly rude. When I asked if I could drop off my keys a bit early since I had to work, he curtly told me to wait outside the door. After waiting for a while, I asked again if I could leave my keys anywhere, and he started raising his voice at me. He rudely stated he wouldn't fix my car because I asked him too many times about leaving my keys and told me to go home.

I later found out there was a post box for dropping off keys, which he didn’t bother to mention. He clearly just wanted to be confrontational and unhelpful. This was an terrible experience, and I will never go there again.

I have used formula one in Salisbury a few times with my old car and they’ve always been reliable, which is why I was a returning customer. Took my Hyundai Kona (2018) in for an MOT and service. Unfortunately I arrived late (around 8:50) due to traffic and whilst I was told I had missed my MOT slot which was 8:30 they said that they would try their best to get my MOT done. I was thankful and told them it was fine if they could not MOT until the following day as it was my own fault for being slightly late. In the afternoon I got a phone call to say they had done the MOT but they may not have time to do the service as well, I told them it was no problem they could keep it until tomorrow. I was told they needed to discuss some things when I came to collect the car and I was surprised when I checked online that I had an advisory for rear break discs. When I went to collect my car I asked them about the advisory. They said that whilst it was an advisory, upon inspection during the service it was measuring below minimum standard and they would need replacing soon. I was surprised and asked how long discs last as they had been done less than a year ago and the car had only done around 4,000 miles in the past year (20,000 overall). I was then told it was not unusual for discs on a Hyundai needing to be replaced after a year and that they would last another couple of months. When I told them I would be taking it back to the garage who had done the initial work I was told not to worry about it and it may be their system is wrong. I’m now questioning whether my tyres did need re-alignment or whether they just charged me for it and whether it needed a specialist oil upgrade. Trust is a big thing with a garage and unfortunately after this I will not be returning and would recommend others to steer clear.

Had 2 tyres and puncture fixed at the Salisbury branch this morning. The staff were so helpful with fixing the puncture and moving tyres around to different corners. Absolutely brilliant. Thankyou

Can't recommend Formula One highly enough. Had an issue with a knocking noise coming from the offside front wheel. They thoroughly checked the car over and diagnosed the problem which highlighted poor work by a different well known salisbury garage I'd used a few months earlier (they'll be getting a separate 1 star review).

Formula One were friendly, thorough and efficient with excellent customer care. They'll be my first choice garage in the future.

Salisbury...I popped in for some advice on a heat shield that had fallen off and a screeching sound coming from the engine every morning! Chris diagnosised the problem and we booked it in for a check up! Seems there were a few other problems in the way of a couple of oil leaks and yes it cost me a bit more but it was worth it to keep my car on the road!
Chris kept me up to date with what was being done and provided plenty of information! Couldn't have asked for more from Chris and his team! One very happy customer who will definitely be back and will definitely recommend them!
