Delighted with the output - best quality. Very good company to deal with too, reasonably priced.

The ordering and delivery of the scans was excellent, however, the scans themselves were not as good as I was hoping. I sent 40 slides as I wanted to test the quality (I have a further 10,000 or so) and had opted for a 8,000 dpi scan with what was described as a Inteligent Image Enhancment. Some of the scans were back to front, two had shadow areas simply not picked up at all and some included strange artifacts, which were not there on the original. The scanner used (according to the file data) was a Nikon LS-5000, which is a semi-professional scanner which will only do a 4,000 dpi scan, so the larger size was simply a software adjustment. With the enhancement, the file indicated that this was done using Topaz Labs systems, which is pretty standard. So, fine if you simply want to have the ability to show your slides on your computer or phone, but for any more professional or quality use, maybe not so good, certainly not worth going for a higher resolution.

i have decided to update my previous review on the basis of some good service and an improvement change in contact with the company. the recent staff member was friendly and helpful. The bill was less than expected by £4 and i was told the delivery date of 2 more days. i am happy to rate the firm as 4 stars.

Had around 700 slides scanned, took about 2 - 3 weeks from collection to delivery back, all tracked, were collected on time and am really pleased with them.
Much better quality than when I tried scanning ‘a few’ on a slide scanner I bought and of course its not taking me ‘the rest of life’ to do them 😊

The slides scanned have come back on a disc the results are very good. I had a problem with my computer which meant I couldn't open the files. Tim was very helpful & replied to an email I sent, late l on Saturday afternoon, within half an hour. Very impressed.

My sister sent me a box of transparencies dating back 50 + years. I was dubious about having them transferred onto a pen drive, but I am so delighted with the photos that I can now view easily on my Mac. They are fantastic and I can't wait for her to send me the next batch so I can have those transformed too. Thank you. And well done!

Film Scan UK very promptly and to a very high standard scanned some of my old 35 mm slides. I am very happy with the results and recommend the Professional service and TIFF options. Highly recommend.

Went for top service but quite a bit of surface dust still on scanned negs and a colour cast on two of the three. Colour cast easily fixed, dust took quite lot longer. Rather felt that for the top service level it should have been better

The quality of the scanned slides is very good. However the process took much longer than expected and it was frustrating that when I tried to the contact the company by phone, the phone was never answered.

An excellent job producing very high resolution JPGs of surprisingly good quality from some very old slides (1970s vintage). Quite a queue for processing after placing the order due to their amount of orders, so you wouldn't need to be in a hurry, but the CD arrived at their estimated time.

I am really impressed by the clarity of the slide scans. Old pictures - 40 year old pictures - look as sharp and punchy as recent pictures taken on a quality digital camera. They also took the time to digitally repair.a damages slide. I am well impressed and will definitely be using Exposure22 again.

All aspects excellent.

I had 20 old slides for conversion. Exposure22 scanned them efficiently, and cleaned them with ICE to the extent that when I post-process them I do not find any of the blemishes usual scanning processes leave behind. AS the trial was sucessful, I am now seeking out some other old slides for the same process!

What a great idea, and all happened so quickly and easily. Took me longer to sort out which photos to send them than it took them to scan them all in and return to me on a DVD. Brilliant

A great experience - easier than other companies to pack, cheaper than the others for 600dpi scans and in my case 100% reliable. They also managed to decipher my scrawls to set up the scanned photos (more than 2500) into folders which meant I didn't have to sort them out when they came back.

Delighted with service. All my old pictures transferred safely onto a CD.
Reasonably priced. Would certainly use again.
