My driving instructor was Aneka and she was incredible, kind and patient when guiding me, couldn’t recommend her enough. The business as a whole is amazing

Definitely recommend Aneka for lesson, I was so worried at the beginning but she put me at ease and I felt so comfortable. I had a pass today first time and couldn’t have done it with her, she is very easy to talk to and is so lovely.

Richard was a fantastic instructor, he was incredibly supportive and allowed me to go at my own pace and lead my lessons and choose what I wanted to cover during the lesson, always making sure that I was in control of the lessons and what we went through and that I knew I was the one in control. We had a great report and he is very friendly and approachable which made the lessons much more enjoyable. His criticism was always very constructive and he let me figure out what I did wrong on my own and he used anagrams and unique ways of teaching me certain key things that really helped me remember everything, and I would recommend Richard and excel to anyone looking at learning to drive.

Brilliant lessons and very effective teaching from Dean which led to me passing first time with 0 faults. Would definitely recommend Excel and Dean to anyone that wants to learn how to drive.

Great experience for my son learning to drive with Richard. He got him through his test with very few faults despite his nerves! Would recommend.

First time pass with Dean, couldn’t recommend him enough. Has always been punctual and is genuinely invested in the learning journey of the pupil. Whilst we worked through the areas that were necessary, he ensured that anything that I personally wasn’t 100% on we could go back over and perfect. Genuinely have loved my experience of learning to drive and it’s all thanks to Dean. Highly recommend!!!

I had an awful experience with a different driving school and ended up moving to Excel. Having Aneka as my new instructor has completely changed driving for me to a fully positive experience! She is so lovely, friendly, reassuring and supportive. I’ve passed my driving test today first time and I couldn’t have done it if it wasn’t for Aneka. I have tried to drive and given up multiple times in the past. When I met Aneka she put me at ease straight away and explained driving to me without over complicating it!

If you’re looking for an instructor, look no further… My experience with Excel was a dream from start to finish. I started lessons in November 2023 and told Richard I’d like to pass in May, and thanks to him I did. Richard went the extra mile to fit me in for over 15 hours worth of additional lessons before my test, and he’d done the same for my twin sister. I was very nervous to start driving but Richard did a fantastic job at calming my nerves and ensuring that my confidence grew. Richard’s communication and punctuality was also always consistent making him a true credit to Excel. I’ll certainly be back for motorway lessons now i’ve passed!
