Took my car for air bag replacement due to recall but when I requested a copy of the work carried out for my records, I was denied. Subsequently, I emailed that same request and received only an automated acknowledgment reply. Poor service!

I had my car booked in for 2 months for an electrical malfunction fault that the car has had since the first week it arrived. It’s a 26 plate frontera. It also has an alarm recall on the vehicle. I booked an appointment and a courtesy car, I received a call at 5:20pm the evening before to ask if I was still going ahead with my booking and I asked about the courtesy car and was told there wasn’t any automatics, I only have an auto licence and I told them this at the point of booking. I have a small baby and a business to run which means I couldn’t leave my car for multiple days without transport. Megan told me she would call me at 11am the next day. I never received a call from her but her colleague Doreen. I rang back numerous times over an hour and a half to return the call and got no answer from the service department. So I went down to the showroom as I thought it may be easier to rectify the issue and sort a car for another date. When I got there I was left waiting. Doreen didn’t have a clue who I was or that she had even rang me. Megan wasn’t very helpful either. When I asked to speak to the service manager, I was just told numerous times that they would contact me as soon as a car arrived back on site but no length of time was given. I’ve waited a week so far, still no call, still not car, still no booking to fix a brand new 26 plate vehicle. I’m beyond fed up of having these issues with this car. I expect someone to call me immediately and get this issue rectified or I will be rejecting the vehicle back to the finance company.

Had a product recall on my car, no appointment needed!
Arrived at the Wigan branch and was quickly sorted out by the lovely and helpful Doreen. The engineer quickly took my car and changed the Airbag.
Everything completed in half an hour and a nice cup of coffee to boot!!!

Great job done in 10 minutes

Selling my mini was quoted on the 24th August 11946 and today advised 11000 (1st September) the advisor Lee Barnfield stated that the price had reduced due to me having this appointment at the beginning of the month however I did make an appointment last week (August) but the advisor postponed this scheduled date until today therefore I waa penalised for a reason beyond my control. I decided to leave this offer because they wanted me to leave my car at the showroom and they would only be able to pay me Tom because all admin team had gone home. Also wasted 2 hours of my life that I can’t get back

Iggy was extremely efficient and helpful in dealing with my enquiry into purchasing a new car. His manner was friendly and polite and he explained the purchase options clearly. Ultimately, I didn't purchase the car but that had nothing to do with the sales experience and came down to spec of the car itself. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Evans Halshaw in Wigan for future purchases and would be asking to deal with Iggy again!
