Evans Halshaw - Ford Transit Centre Preston Omdömen 

I bought a van from the Evans Halshaw Ford Centre in Preston. The van itself drives well and is in good condition, so I have no complaints about the vehicle itself.

However, my main complaint is regarding the valet and cleaning team. When I went to collect the van, the condition of the inside was utterly disgusting and, quite frankly, a disgrace.

There were crumbs inside the doors, old receipts, and even a vape underneath the driver’s seat. The seats were stained, and overall, there were several areas of the van that were simply grotty and had clearly not been properly cleaned.

When you spend a considerable amount of money purchasing a van from a main dealer and promised on the phone that it would be in good condition for collection, you expect it to have been given a full valet and to be presented in a clean, spotless condition when you collect it. Instead, when I raised my concerns, all I was told was, “We have tried our best to clean it for you.”

Well, your “best” is far from acceptable.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. There was a clear lack of pride and care taken in preparing the van for collection, and I do not feel that the level of service reflects what you would expect when spending a significant amount of money with a main dealer.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not be returning to Evans Halshaw to purchase another vehicle. I believe customers deserve a much higher standard of care and attention, particularly when purchasing a vehicle from an established dealer

Avoid Evans Halshaw Preston if you value good customer service.

I've had repeated issues with poor workmanship and even worse communication. After an air conditioning repair, my van was returned dirty and with the front indicator left unplugged. Months later, the air conditioning failed again, a fault I'd previously reported was still unresolved, and despite promises from the service team that a manager would call me back, nobody ever did.

After weeks of chasing, I was simply told to join the back of the queue for another appointment. No ownership, no accountability, and no attempt to resolve the problems.

Very disappointing experience from a main dealer. I won't be returning.

Awful experience, had to return van 3 times .staff rude and unknowingly thought I'd got my van back but been left on carpark unattended for 2 week .eventually I got refund

Terrible customer service trying to ring the service department for 2 days no answer?? I want to take my ford ranger in as it has a problem and is under warranty..not the first time I've had bad service from these..

Great service from David Dewhurst at Evan’s Halshaw Ford Preston who made the process of buying my used car from my home in Aberdeenshire very straightforward. All of my questions and queries about the car were answered quickly and the car arrived all nicely valeted and exactly as described.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use this dealership again.

Don't get your vehicle MOT done here! Or you will be done over. These guys do not care about the customer satisfaction. They only care about how much money they can get out of you. I'm not going to bother writing how they have behaved because you only need to read the rest of the reviews about this company. You can understand why they are closing so many dealerships down. The Customer service is shocking at the PRESTON branch, and please don't write how sorry you are about my experience like the other reviews 🙈

ive just purchased another used ford ecosport haveing allready had 4 uesd fords from evans hallshaw preston dave dewhurst the sales guy was brilliant great guy to talk to and explanded all paperwork from start to finish nothing was to much trouble for dave

Took our car in for a health check, after nearly an hour i got a phone call from Evans Halshaw to say sorry we have had a problem with you car, i asked what, oh we have dropped your car of the ramp. We went back to Evans Halshaw spoke to the mechanic told me it was his fault did not check it, i said to the service manager (Andrew) your incompetent, his reply to me, What`s your problem we are repairing it for free. Disgrace.
