Excellent service by Sanjay and Liam, couldn’t have been better!!!

Overall, I’m very disappointed with the after-sales experience.
A fault appeared shortly after purchase and, instead of being properly repaired, the issue was initially cleared and returned to me. Resolving it required repeated chasing, delays, and escalation. Communication was poor and progress only happened after significant effort on my part. This is not the level of service I expected.

I had the pleasure of being attended to by Sanjay in BYD Milton Keynes. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with him. From start to finish, he was incredibly patient, professional, and genuinely understanding of my needs. He took the time to listen, answered every question thoroughly, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured. He took the time to attend to every single pain point I had with my vehicle and went over and beyond to ensure it was attended to.

What really set him apart was how he went above and beyond to make sure I left happy with my purchase. He was transparent, knowledgeable, and truly had my best interests at heart—not just focused on making a sale. That level of care and dedication is rare and deeply appreciated.

If you’re looking for someone who treats you with respect, honesty, and exceptional service, look no further. This was hands-down one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve ever had.

I put a deposit on a car three weeks ago but the sale didn't go ahead. Contacted customer services and Milton Keynes dealership multiple times with No replies. They're holding my deposit hostage. Funny because when they thought I was buying a car I was bombarded with phone calls and messages... Can if you actually read these reviews I'd like MY money back please.

I had my Hyundai serviced at Evans Halshaw in Milton Keynes. I had a question a few days after. I phoned several times, no one answered the phone. I filled in an online contact form, no reply. I contacted someone via chat on their website, they said a member of the team would contact me. No contact was made.

Sanjay went the extra mile and presented the car with balloons for our handover. Ask for him if you go for a byd and he’ll make the process like your buying a Ferrari. !!

Helpfull staff. Punctual

Giving this dealership one star is more than generous. This has to be the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had when purchasing a vehicle. Communication is almost non-existent; they only reply to emails when it’s for their benefit and if you manage to get hold of someone on the phone they can’t get rid of you quick enough. The vehicle I purchased had to go back for some repair work (which I was told would be completed when I originally arranged collection of the vehicle), and even the communication when trying to get my vehicle back was pretty much non-existent. This dealership caused so much stress for a number of reasons, including taking nearly 7 days to settle my previous finance because nobody realised paperwork was missing, so I was charged for my previous vehicle when it should have settled. There has never been any acknowledgment of this or an apology. One of the sales staff told me he treats his customers like family; I sincerely hope this isn’t the case! Even after all the stress and lack of communication, he still had the cheek to ask for a good review for his commission! Which tells you where his priorities lie.
Evan’s Halshaw as a brand doesn’t get much better- I submitted a complaint to them and unsurprisingly never heard anything more, so it must be a common theme!
The saying “buyer beware” is definitely true for this dealership, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from here.

Bought my wife a 3yr old, low mileage Polo from Evan’s Halshaw/BYD in Milton Keynes for her birthday. Bought remotely and with confidence from a National brand. Car was supposed to come with GardX protection worth £500. Car was delivered as promised but stank of smoke and was missing mats. The dealer said they would send us an air freshener for the car. The car then broke down 3 times in the next ten days - all on the school run in busy London. RAC call out and local garage call out. Ran diagnostics and found multiple faults. Rejected the car under Consumer Rights Acts within 30 days of purchase as was our right to do. The dealership (and especially the Business Manager - Mr Malik - spend nearly 2 months denying our consumer rights, obfuscating and lying despite the law being clear and citizens advice upholding our case against them. Also GardX confirmed that there was no protection or policy on the car. What should have taken 24hrs to resolve took nearly 2 months - all the time with the car abandoned near our house. The eventual refund only came when we said we would put the car into storage and pursue the company via the courts. Bought my wife an approved used Polo from VW in the end. Wonderful experience. Nobody at BYD cared, nobody at head office cared. Terrible behaviour. Buyer beware.

Bought a vehicle dealt with Rojhae, pleasant staff test drive and easy transaction. Would recommend for the service I received.

Shocking service - walked in as was comparing with Tesla - asked for a test drive and said we are appointments only and offered me a test drive for next week as the sales advisor was going on a holiday. Honestly being in sales myself it was actually shocking as they did not care at all about losing a customer.

Tesla it is for me.

Brilliant business and I highly recommend

BYD MK sold me a Range Rover that was knowingly faulty. On the advert you could see that the engine management light was showing. On viewing the car on the forecourt this light was not there. I was assured by sales team that this was fixed/not a problem. Drove the car away and the light came straight back on. This was in November and BYD are being extremely difficult trying to have this fixed. They refuse to respond to emails and calls and Amir the manager never responds. I have tried to return the car and nobody has responded to that request either. I just need someone to approve the works to be done with Range Rover - after being assured that they'd cover the works they are now backing out!
