I came here 10 Months ago, to done my rhinoplasty procedure while my husband having his hairs done. I loved the outcome of everything, I recommend this place at highest stakes

As someone who has undergone hair transplants here twice, once in April 2024 and again in March 2025, I absolutely do not recommend this place.

You might wonder, “If you weren’t satisfied, why did you go for a second procedure here?” Let me explain:

After the first transplant, I can say I was happy with how my hair took, but there was a significant imbalance in the donor area. There was a noticeable difference between the left and right sides.
My bald area was large, and I needed a second procedure. Since they said they would correct the imbalance from the first transplant, I decided to have the second procedure done here as well. My first transplant was done using the FUE technique, with about 4,500 grafts. The second transplant was performed using the DHI technique, and they only took 2,750 grafts. I say "only" because the doctor mentioned during the procedure that DHI takes longer, so they don’t take too many grafts. I was suspicious about this, but of course, you can’t see your head during the procedure. After the bandages were removed, I was in complete shock. After the first procedure, there was excessive extraction on the right side of the donor area, and this time they said they would take more from the left to balance things out. But guess what happened? The nurses again took too much from the right side, making the imbalance even worse. It’s almost unbelievable, but it’s true. During the procedure, they started extracting from the right side, then after reaching a certain number, they reduced the grafts to avoid a lengthy process. Unfortunately, this led to the imbalance. It’s complete incompetence, and we don’t even know if the promised number of grafts was actually transplanted.

Unfortunately, I will have to live with this situation for the rest of my life, and there is no solution. This happened to me twice, and it could happen to you as well. I do not recommend this place at all.

Other points I’d like to mention:

The team is definitely not experienced. The doctor was 28 years old, and honestly, I’m not sure if he was even a doctor, as the two nurses working with him were around 25. I don’t know if this is normal.
Analyze the reviews here carefully. Most of them are written right after the operation, when the clinic asks for reviews. You can tell that communication decreases as soon as you leave a review. For example, no one has contacted me about my situation in the last five days.
Many of the reviews talk about communication and satisfaction with the accommodation, yes, but this is Istanbul, and it’s a service industry. You can find this everywhere, but once they’re done with you, communication becomes very difficult. I’m speaking from my own experience.
The hospital environment is not sterile; don’t think of it as an operation room. They’ve closed one floor of the hospital, and the room where the procedure is done has an open window, with outside noises and food smells during your operation. When I mentioned this, the doctor said, “We haven’t had any issues so far.” Is this normal? I really don’t know.
The people communicating with you are Turkish, but they use foreign names. I really don’t understand the reasoning behind that.
After the operation, they show you a care kit that was never mentioned before. I don’t know if it’s a marketing tactic, but this wasn’t explained to me until after the surgery. Keep in mind, the healthcare industry has become a huge business.
As for payments, they take the fee in cash and upfront. At least, that’s what happened in my case. Of course, I don’t need to mention that they’re avoiding taxes and committing a crime.
Right now, I am dealing with a huge sense of frustration. You will carry this scar for the rest of your life, and no one takes responsibility or contacts you about it. They may call what I’ve written fake, like other negative reviews, but I’m trying to explain with pictures. I made a mistake, don’t make the same mistake. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Easy to communicate initial via Whatsapp with Michael, who was able to explain the process to me. On arrival in Istanbul i was met by my driver who brought me to my lovely hotel, Michael then messaged me to confirm what time my driver would pick me up the following morning to bring me to the Hospital. On arrival at the hospital the following morning, i had all my medical checks done, i.e ECG/Bloods etc. i then met the Doctors who would be doing the hair transplant, they were very friendly and professional. I left the hospital around 6pm and was taken back to my hotel, the following morning my driver picked me up and i met Michael and others who washed my hair, provided me with the after care products and gave me instructions of what the next 6 weeks will look like.

This was a very good experience for me and i was looked after from the moment i made contact with Michael.

I had my hair transplant in Sept 2024.
I was looked after extremely well from the moment I was picked at the airport until I was dropped back to take my flight home.

The hotel was clean and nice and 2 mins away from the hospital.
The hospital was amazing, as good as you would see from a private hospital in London.
All the staff, doctors and nurses were extremely hospitable, friendly and helpful.
They really looked after me.

I would like to extend a most special mention and thank you to Ryan.
He looked after me from the moment I messaged him, to this day.
Whilst I was in Turkey he never left my side and ensured I was comfortable and happy the whole time.

Great consultant, friendly and easy to talk to.
The hotel was very comfortable.
The doctors and the helpers were very good. Constantly asking how I feel during the 8 hour surgery. And with the pills and after care. Recovery is not that painful as expected.

If you are looking to get a hair transplant, this is the place. Ryan and his team are very professional. From the start he made the process very simple. I had many questions, which he patiently answered. He arranged a ride for me, to and from the airport, as well as setting me up with as nice hotel. The staff at the clinic is very professional, helpful and friendly. I could not be happier with the experience i had from esteGrande.

Ryan was my rep and he was brilliant. From start to finish he was calling me/messaging me to make sure everything was organised from flights to hotel, transport and surgery. Ryan ensured he was present on my surgery day and he was there all day. He responded/picked up his phone to me no matter what day and what time. I was given Ryan’s details by a friend who had used esteGrande previously. It was so easy, I sent photos to him and he took care of everything else, they were waiting for me at the airport , took me to my hotel, picked me up in the morning and took me to the clinic. The whole process was brilliant and I was well looked after. Apart from a few jabs of anaesthetic I didn’t feel a thing all day. When finished they took me back to the 5star hotel.
Picked up again in the morning so they could show me the aftercare . And then took me back to the airport. Ryan was there keeping check we were happy all the time and the surgeon and assistants were really careful making sure I was happy.
If you’re thinking of getting a hair transplant I can’t recommend enough. Go for it!
