Fantastic product, slight delay with delivery
Fantastic product at the best price I could find. Item was not dispatched until after I phoned to query the delay. They were friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned on the phone and their e-mail update system keeps you informed. I will probably give them a second chance.
A let down
I've bought one item from Equip My Trip and the wrong colour was sent. This has created a problem that has gone on for almost two months and because the company seems to have disappeared has led me to post this review. The online chat doesn't work, nobody answers the telephone which doesn't go to answer phone nor has anybody responded to my emails! I'm very annoyed that I have lost about £40 due to an error of the company to start with.
Worst online company I have ever dealt with - DO NOT USE!!!
I ordered a Mountain Equipment beanie from them and it took nearly two weeks for them to deliver it. There was no dispatch confirmation and no tracking available for me to check when it was sent. On receipt I found they had sent me the wrong beanie, one that I already had, so I returned it via Royal Mail First Class Signed For, which requires a signature on receipt. That was three days after receiving it in mid-February and it's now mid-March and I'm still waiting for a refund. It was signed for in their office on the 12th February at 10.45am. I tried to go through their online returns process but that wouldn't work. I have rung them on numerous occasions and initially they said they had received it but the person who had signed for it was on holiday and they couldn't find it. Not my fault. Now I try ringing and there's no answer, not even through their website portal message service. An absolute waste of time as a company. I shall be speaking to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards as they have reneged on their returns/refund policy.
Too easy to blame Royal Mail...
My experience with the company was good a few years ago and my order came quickly. However, this time things were different. There was no sign of the gloves I ordered for about 10 days. I was sent a Royal Mail tracking number but it was not valid on the Royal Mail website a week later, so they did not appear to have been posted. My email to the company was unanswered. After a conversation on the phone I was told they were looking into it with Royal Mail. I pointed out that the gloves were needed for a trip very soon and after more telephone calls they agreed to send a pair but said they would cut off the cardboard so I could get them quicker. This didn't sound ideal but I was assured this wouldn't affect my right to return them if they didn't fit. They ended up being too small and I returned them using the address and instructions on the website at the time and sending an email to let them know. Over a month later I have no refund! After an unanswered email and another lengthy conversation by phone I was told they hadn't had them back as nothing had been logged. Unfortunately I did not use recorded delivery so cannot prove they were sent or received, However, it seems too much of a coincidence that Royal Mail lost the both gloves originally sent and those I returned! My hunch is either the company are extremely disorganised and have lost my return package, or they decided the gloves are not resaleable without the cardboard label so not to give a refund. It is too easy to blame Royal Mail but I have sent and received many things before and never had a problem. Once when something went astray it was returned to me, however there's no sign of this package. I am disappointed to have lost money and would not advise others to use this company.

Fantastic seller, highly recommended
Had left ordering a Travel Pack for my trip away til the very last minute. I rang Equipyourtrip.com and spoke to a very friendly and helpful gentleman called Steve. He calmed me down, assured me that my Caribee Travel Pack would be delivered the very next day and not to panic. Sure enough at 12.30 pm the FedEx van pulled up and delivered my fantastic Rucksack. Absolutely saved the day, fantastic company, phenomenal customer service and amazing value. Thanks again Steve, you are a star

Dreadful!! Poor service - returned goods and no refund so now £132 poorer
I ordered Helly Hansen pants with 2-5 days delivery. 10 days later they had not arrived. On phoning I was advised the item was no longer available but they would send a replacement and was assured by [Name] it would match the jacket I had. 11 days later, following more chasing and holiday imminent, it was received and was not as I was led to believe. I returned it. Since then despite phone calls and emails I have not received a response or refund so I am £132.99 plus postage out of pocket and the time has now elapsed when I might have raised a dispute with PayPal. My advice - do not use - not one part of the transaction was acceptable!

Untrustworthy - be very careful with this vendor
The item I ordered arrived and is fine so I am happy about this. However, the vendor charged double the post and packing fee that was specified at ordering. Despite the fact that I have a screen shot of the order page clearly showing the lower price the vendor has refused to do return the over-charge. This does not seem to be a very trustworthy or considerate vendor- be very careful with this vendor.

P & P costs
Smooth service - however the website said £2.50 p & p costs and the price came out at £3.85. Odd but acceptable.
Could have a Clear order button - when I was checking the p & p the order qty kept going up & up :).
Solution: order -1 items and then it was sorted - odd but a tricky solution for a non-IT person.....

honest reply from an email 3 months ago about winter delivery , and true to steve's word both gloves arrived on week before he said hey would. was worried initial and thought i would never see them but i have them in in time for some dry tooling but one day to late for the first ski tour of the season . many thanks from a very happy customer from austria . lg scot

Rubish - 10 days to post the item and no response to email
Ordered a jersey that was supposedly in stock. They posted it 10 days after payment, and that was only becuase I put in a claim with Paypal. No response to emails. Extremely poor service and have no intention of ever using them again

After a delivery problem with some climbing shoes, days before I left for Font, Equip Your Trip were more helpful than I could of imagined possible! Got my shoes the day before I left for France! I was a very happy happy man and the holiday was amazing!
