Energie fitness mullingar is great gym great classes.staff very helpful highly recommend it.

I’m a new member to this gym I like to do classes and then add my own extra at the end or start the timetable suits me the staff are nice and easy to approach still finding my feet but no complaints 🙂

Gym is in serious need of investment. Carpets have worn away in parts, especially bad in front of the smith machine. Weight stickers missing on the cable machine. Rubber stopper on the row machine held together by tape. Foot strap on the row machine upstairs broken. Leather ripped on seats for machines and benches, worst is the leg extension. Needs more lighting where the leg machines are. Cables need adjusting on many machines, way too much slack in hip abduction machine can’t get full range of motion. Space between bench presses are too tight to walk through if someone is working there, both sides. Plates are left everywhere staff need to move some weights from squat racks into the main area. Green astro seems to be a wasted space could fit a glute raise machine and calf machine here as they are needed and move the sledge to the yard (just a suggestion).

Overall it’s a decent gym that just needs some care. Can get a full workout in even when busy. Staff seem friendly from my limited experience with them.

Sad to be writing this, but after emailing my concerns to the former GM two weeks ago and not even receiving an acknowledgement, I feel I have no choice but to post here.
The truth is that the owners have stopped investing in this club. It feels like it’s all about the money now. Every year we get the same price-increase email dressed up with talk of “investment,” yet even basic maintenance is ignored. The carpet has been worn through in places for over a year. If senior management ever looked up from their spreadsheets during visits, they’d see it too. There’s no excuse.
Members have been asking for a proper lateral pull-down for ages. Instead, we’re left improvising with a battered cable bar on another machine. Heating and air conditioning are non-existent yet rising energy costs are still used to justify higher fees.
Staff turnover is constant. Perhaps if staff were treated as fitness professionals rather than cleaners or salespeople, they’d stay longer and create the kind of experience members would gladly recommend. Jordan, as many reviews mention, is a real asset — but for how much longer?
I don’t mind paying more for quality, but right now this gym is basic. The only reasons I’ve stayed are the short drive and the parking.
I wish the new manager well — she sounds determined to make improvements. But unless the owners back her with real investment, all the promises in the world won’t matter. I’m sure some other members feel the same and will walk if things do not improve.

I would like to bring to your attention an issue at your gym. One of the younger instructors, a man with glasses, tends to behave in an unfriendly and at times even aggressive manner, and the classes he leads feel unprofessional. We feel that we are not receiving the quality of service we are paying for.

We sincerely hope for a friendly, supportive, and motivating atmosphere during the workouts. We would be grateful if the management could look into this situation and take the necessary steps to resolve it.

Good equipment to use. Would like to see clocks around the gym so keep track of time without needing to use my phone.

Because staff help in any way they can so encouraging and understanding.

They don't accept cash payment so I didn't join it. The reason I am giving this review is that I was there few days ago to get more info on membership and this was not told to me. And I am living 25 minutes by car away. Such as a waste of my time.

I was in this gym a long time manager was always a pr**k doesn't like any1 wil never give any help or advice. The gym is missing alot there is nothing for ur calfs no proper lat pull down. It is missing alot and also using some broken machines

If I could write no stars I would. DO NOT ATTEND THIS GYM. This is the worst gym I’ve ever attended out of many I’ve been in in my life. The bathrooms first of all are a disgrace. Toilet seats falling off constantly piss all over them, just completely unhygienic doesn’t seem to be anybody cleaning them bathrooms, soap dispenser hanging off the wall, watered down soap in a bottle instead :) toilet papers just on the floor. No changing rooms just change in the dirty bathroom and get piss all over your socks when you take off your shoes 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Not to mention their horrendous pricing for such a badly equipped gym. Carpet is falling apart on the floors. I signed up with them on the 1st of march with a direct debit which was €30 a month then got a email 2/4 days later saying their increasing monthly prices to €45. I responded to the email to take me off the direct debit for the next month please as I won’t pay this for such a shitty gym. They ignored my emails and just took the money from my account anyways even though I gave them notice within a few days of me joining. Called them up and the manager was rude, said no I will not get a refund, clearly only cares about money not his customers which was obvious from the beginning.

They have PTs in this gym that are over weight. Please tell me where the common sense is in that? I thought PTs are qualified in fitness and supposed to care about fitness. How can you promote this when your PTs are not even in shape.

Great gym, great location, ample parking. Variety of classes on the timetable from morning to evenings. The instructors are really passionate about what they do and are always willing to help if we are stuck.

The gym is busier but nice to see them getting the business and the credit the guys do when out advertising the company.

Don't have a bad word to say about them. Really enjoying my time in the classes and enjoying the banter as well 😀
The only thing I would like is to have new straps on the bikes.

I've been going to énergie Fitness in Mullingar for a while now, and while the gym has its strengths, there are some downsides. The staff are friendly, and there’s a good range of equipment, but it can get very crowded, and there aren't enough lockers or machines at busy times. The gym also gets uncomfortably hot in the summer, and air conditioning would make a big difference. It’s a decent facility overall, but there’s room for improvement.

Greeted and welcomed by staff warmly every single time.
Love the cleanliness, Modern feel as well as interior design of the gym and its equipment available.
Classes are always on time & caters to all levels, demonstrating alternative workouts from beginner - advanced but still working the same muscle group.
Favourite classes - Barbell hustle, upper body blast & legs bums & tums
Instructors are observant, inventive, energetic and professional.

Signing up for a membership, Booking classes on the app and collecting membership tag is very Easy and clear to do.

Very big thanks to Manager Eoin for helpful and tour on my first day, Dorde, Shane & shorter energetic Fitness instructor fella with dark hair ( barbell hustle) great instructors!

To start with they are lying!! I was never giving special classes, now it is a lie about me, they never gave me any warnings, they kicked me out of the gym without respect and professionalism and I have the recorded videos!! I have been going to the gym for more than 4 years and I never received any notification about that! One day I come and they tell me that I have to leave the gym and I asked them why and the next day I came back and they greeted me from the door, the manager said bad words to me, I have recorded everything! They are not professionals!! They never gave me any clarification about that! Nobody is treated like they treated me! They have no consideration for people! I have seen on several occasions that many people are there training with other colleagues! I did the same with my friends! And I asked the manager if it was possible and he replied that there would be no problem! And I say it all here because they never had a decent conversation with me!! They just kicked me out without any compassion!
