This gym has good facilities and a range of classes to join each week. The staff are super friendly, especially Balint, who goes out of his way to make sure you get the most out of your gym experience.

Came to this gym as a local. Have to say one of the better ones in the area facility wise and not too crowded and the equipment is really good. Clean .

Good space, great PTs

Great equipment, clean facilities and really helpful staff on hand. Have been working with Kertis for over a year with PT sessions and can see a significant improvement in my health!

Very nice gym with a lot of equipment and nice staff. I have been doing PT sessions with Kertis and really recommend it - he designed a training based on my goals and carefully explained very moves and corrected me if needed. Gym overall is clean and never too crowded.

I attended this Gym for the first time on Thursday, the 20th of March with a non rolling contract. Pay as you go. I done an hour session. I did not attend back to the gym until Monday 24th of March to speak to the manager and advise him. I will not be coming back as i’m not happy with the gym equipment as a few machines were unusable. I told him to keep the £31.02 for the hours session and I will be cancelling any future payments. He got funny and told me I can’t do that and told me that there will be another full payment of £36.99 coming out on the 16th of April. What happened to my 14 day calling off period. either way I have cancelled any future payments they can keep £31.02p for the hours session I done. I advised them any problems to get the owner to ring me. I have heard nothing but bad stories from this place in the last 48 hours. Bad management, bad equipment just money grabbers I would avoid this place at all cost. £31.02 for an hour session and they still want more money out of me after me telling them to keep it animals..

This gym was really good when I joined it - in fact I gave it a glowing review - but it rapidly went downhill. Broken equipment, bad maintenance, surly disinterested staff and completely inaccessible for people with disabilities - the fact that their disabled toilet had been turned into a storage cupboard spoke volumes, really. Out of the two treadmills that I was able to use because of my disability, one of them had a broken safety catch which I asked about five times if they could fix, and they simply couldn't be bothered.
I only stayed for my PT, who was absolutely wonderful. He left last week (I dont blame him), so I'll probably never go back.
On the plus side there's parking, they have Grenade bars in the vending machine and it's next to a Sainsbury's, but that's about all the good things I have to say about it.

Lovely experience in here. This gym is amazing. It is clean, well equipped and staff team is super friendly. My PT Kertis is very nice, he prepared different workout plans that help me motivated and achieved my goals. Highly recommend❤️.

The staff are very friendly and always happy to help out. My PT was very knowledgeable and helped me overcome my fear of using weights and in establishing a routine. Highly recommend!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding the handling of my fitness membership cancellation. I provided a formal cancellation notice via email at the beginning of November, well in advance of any payment obligations for January 2025

Despite this, I was still asked to pay for January 2025, which I find entirely unreasonable and unjustified. The cancellation notice was submitted early enough to avoid any further charges, yet I feel unfairly pressured into paying for a service I explicitly terminated.

Additionally, the mention of a £20 late cancellation fee adds to my frustration, as I adhered to the required timeline for notifying you. This raises concerns about transparency and fairness in your membership policies.

I kindly request that you review this matter and waive the unnecessary payment request for January 2025. I also suggest improving the clarity of your cancellation procedures to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future.

This is my second time joining Energie Fitness, but opting for a personal trainer this time has been a game-changer—one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Kertis truly listened to my goals and limitations, offering unwavering support and professionalism. He crafted a custom workout plan tailored to my fitness and comfort levels. When I struggled with posture corrections, he prioritised safety by guiding me to use machines rather than manual adjustments, which was the perfect approach given my later diagnosis of Retrolisthesis.

Additionally, he provided valuable nutritional guidance, regularly checking in to ensure I was meeting my dietary needs despite my challenges with adding meals.

What stands out the most is the trust I’ve developed in his ability to handle my situation with care and expertise. I’m so grateful for the positive impact he’s had on my fitness journey, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide :)

I’ve been a member of this gym in Forest hill for around 6 years and recently convinced a friend to try it out through the 'Bring a Friend' program. However, when we arrived, one of the trainers (a short bald guy) was quite rude. He suggested in order to enter my friend to pay £20 upfront cash in case he is not joining he could lose the money and made it clear that unless my friend was 100% committed to joining, there was no point in filling out the paperwork. His attitude was dismissive, as if he was the boss and didn’t care unless we signed a contract. This approach makes no sense, especially since I’ve used the same program a few years ago, and that friend ended up signing a year-long contract. Unfortunately, the customer service at this gym has really gone downhill lately."

In the end i felt ashamed of bringing my friend with me and i don't see the point in the false advertising

The worst experience in my entire life.

After not having stepping inside a gym for around 10 years, I completed my induction today with Mario, and was made to feel very welcome.

I was feeling quite nervous but Mario really helped to ease my mind and I can honestly say I loved every minute and even stayed at the end of the induction for a workout, and booked a Zumba class for next weekend. He showed me how to use each piece of equipment, encouraged me to have a try and that helped my confidence immensely.

The gym has a really good vibe and I can’t wait for my fitness journey to continue among such friendly people.

I think I’m going to like it here.
