Absolutely fantastic place. Order online or walk in. I recommend online if you know exactly what you want as walk in is limited to what's on the shelf. Not a negative critique. I went for a spur of the moment model walk in. Richard is a great assistant. He went above and beyond to show us different models and recommendations. He took the time to bring them off the shelf and show them. Although he is busy nothing was too much for him. Thank you Richard.
Only negative is you need a bigger unit and the ability to shop in-store but I understand there is reasons for it being like this. But overall the place is a modellers dream. Thanks guys

What a complete joke I have been waiting for my order for weeks. No updates I have to message them any new about my order just get told no not sent yet. I have never ever waited weeks for a bottle of primer. This is one place I will never go back to.

My delivery got misplaced by royal mail so I contacted customer service and they were excellent, very friendly and helpful. They even sent my order on a next day delivery to make up for the error (which they didn't even make). Brilliant service.

Excellent customer service. There was an issue with my order but this was resolved ASAP, I felt like they truely cared and wanted me to have the best experience possible. They also have a great range and fantastic prices. Highly recommend!

I ordered a model from eModels, but it ended up being out of stock. Instead of just sending me a standard "sorry, out of stock" email and an auto refund, a super helpful guy called Richard called me to apologise, and to ask whether I would like a refund or an exchange for something else. I ended up going for a slightly different kit, and the transaction was all done immediately over the phone.
This human touch is all too rare in these days of e commerce, so I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the standard of customer care.
In conclusion, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend eModels to anyone, I'd give six stars if I could.

I tried to place an order. A technical issue with payment processing meant the £86 order wasnt generated/confirmed on checkout but just returned to 'place order' page despite 5 attempts. Unfortunately I discovered the funds were debited when checking my bank statement. A panicked phone call yielded a moment of silence followed by a vague resonse with NO apology. I supplied personal and payment details along with clear snapshots of the statement to highlight the transactions as requested. 3 days of very brief semi generic emails followed asking for info I'd already given. One of them even asking if the funds were for orders already received..?? Eventually got a refund but for only 3 of the 5 transactions. Shopped with emodels many times (£££) since the Pandemic. Disappointing.

Really good service from order to receipt of goods. Extremely efficient processing with emails informing you of your orders progress.
Have used eModels on a number of occasions and always received excellent service.

Well James helped me,he was very caring,even emailed me on a Sunday to sort my situation out for me because I’m building the 200 scale Bismarck,I’ve got some upgrades for it ,it was a case of paint wise,now that’s taken care of with the help of james ,the box as arrived,intact

I recently placed a small order (Order #698993) for £6.11 worth of paint. I paid £16.66 for UPS shipping, which seemed high but acceptable for international delivery. However, upon arrival in Ireland, I was hit with an additional €15.29 charge from UPS.

After investigating, it turns out only about €6 of this is actual VAT. The rest is a flat-rate "brokerage fee" charged by UPS simply because eModels is not IOSS registered. I contacted customer support, and they confirmed they have no plans to register for IOSS, claiming these are just "customs fees."

This is misleading. Most modern UK retailers use IOSS to collect VAT at checkout, which allows parcels to clear customs without these predatory courier handling fees. By failing to modernize, eModels is forcing EU customers to pay "admin fees" that are 250% of the product's value.

Paying over £30 in total for £6 of paint is absurd. If you are an EU hobbyist, save your money and shop elsewhere until this company joins the 21st century.
