From the word go we found EFoldi to be…polite, helpful and not pushy.
From the word go we found EFoldi to be pleasant, friendly and helpful. Got a visit two days after initial enquiry , on time, from Cliff. He was very professional, friendly and patient and not at all pushy. He spent a lot of time explaining how the Compass model worked and gave plenty of time to try the scooter out and to make quite sure my husband could handle it and that I could lift it into the car. He couldn’t have been more helpful and we are looking forward to receiving our scooter very soon. I’m sure it will make life easier and enjoyable. Thanks again to Cliff.

I had a visit from Cliff Bingley on the 6th August to demonstrate the Efoldi scooter .
He was very helpful and explained everything to me.
I looked at new Efoldi first and fell in love with it.
Then the second one which I didn’t find as comfy.
Cliff took me out on the new one and that was it and I wanted it straight away.

Non-pushy sales advice
I was able to try out the two scooters I was interested in at home. Cliff came and allowed me to drive them around in the garden and on the pavement. He was not pushy and I did not have to "sign on the dotted line" there and then. I ended up purchasing the eFoldi lite, and so far have been very satisfied with its versatility and ease of use. Just two things: the horn is very piercing (and a little embarrassing when reversing in public), secondly it would be better to have an LED display giving the % charge left on the battery, rather than the traffic light LED display. For example, when charging, it is impossible to tell when it is fully charged.

They sent us a used
They sent us a used, damaged unit with missing parts. Can't use the unit. They said they would send the missing parts but they are stuck in China.

The salesman turned up even though we were tough to find. No pressure sales and informative. We looked at the Compass, very light but different design. Shame not quick release castors as on the Lite.

Brilliant service from Cliff.
I contacted eFoldi on behalf of my friend who had been looking for an electric wheelchair.
We were told someone would contact us to arrange a day and time to come out and demonstrate the particular model my friend wanted.
Cliff called within a couple of hours and we agreed on a day.
The day came and Cliff arrived at the arranged time.
He was very friendly, introduced himself and told us about the company and what it had to offer.
He had brought the wheelchair my friend had asked for and showed us how it worked.
My friend then had a practice run in it. Cliff was very patient as my friend was a bit anxious. He made her feel really comfortable and at ease.
He explained everything we needed to know about the wheelchair and my friend decided to purchase it.
Cliff arranged it to be delivered and dealt with the payment.
My friend is looking forward in receiving it and being able to be more independent.

Cliff was very patient and listened to my queries with understanding. He explained how the scooter worked and ensured it was fit for purpose for me. There was no hard sell or pushiness.

The mechanic who serviced our efoldi was very helpful and efficient. Our efoldi was serviced well and looked nearly like new when we went to collect it.

Four wheel efoldi powered wheelchair
My father in law was interested in having a home demonstration for the efoldi powered wheelchair.
Cliff came and carried out the home demo, he was very professional and gave a full demonstration of the 4 wheel efoldi with that being the lightest of the range on offer which was the best option in this case.
The efoldi looks really well designed and is ideal for my father in law who did a test run of lifting it in and out of his car which he could manage which was the main concern.
Good product which I would say achieves the needs of most people when looking for a portable powered wheelchair.

Wonderful home demo
Wonderful home demo. The first step was getting an understanding of needs to decide what products to show. I had already seen somebody else with the explorer so I requested to see this too. I may get the explorer but I was unsure about how easy it is for me to get it from the folded position to opened out ( muscle problems in my arms and hands). There was no hard sell - they seem to really care about people with disabilities and make sure the product was right. I asked if there was a cool off period if I got it and the answer was 'if you change your mind within two weeks there's a £60 admin fee'. This seems reasonable. Their other model, the brand new one, was much easier to unfold but did unfortunately get caught on and rip my dress (which rules it out for me as I wear midi dresses reasonably often). They were however really good at making sure I was safe (I attempted to go up a hill at an angle rather than straight on). I didn't feel rushed trying the scooters out as scooters around the garden and both tackled grass and uneven surfaces nicely (although I maybe should have asked to try and unfold the explorer a second time).

No hard sell.
Cliff was kind and patient. He answered all our questions clearly. He demonstrated the e-foldi several times so that my husband could feel confident that he would be able to manage it. He ensured my husband could get on and off it , before making a decision to purchase it. There was no hard sell. I felt confident that Cliff would not have processed the order, if he didn't think the e-foldi is suitable for my husband's needs.

Buying the new eFoldi compass
Rang about did eFoldi do a 4-wheeler as my condition had made the Explorer no longer ideal. Was told about the new Compass. Cliff turned up to demonstrate within two days. He was punctual. polite, and helpful. The Compass fitted my new needs and I should take delivery on Wednesday.

Buyer beware
I’m a qualified electrical engineer and ran a circuit board testing company for 15 years. I have had an Efoldi 1.5 for 4 years and loved every minute of it. However on more than one occasion I’ve had to look at the electrics mainly for wires coming out of connector blocks. Also a couple of years ago after in flight damage I replaced the speed switch and throttle. I bought identical parts on line for a fraction of the cost efoldi wanted and they’ve worked perfectly. Then the scooter suddenly lost all power and I got into the electrics to see if I could sort it out. I then fully realised what an amateur structure it was based on. It was typical of a Chinese toy manufacturer. I asked efoldi for a schematic or wiring diagram and was told they didn’t have one. I asked if I could contact the manufacturer and told they were the manufacturer but they still didn’t have a wiring diagram. I was told their skilled engineers would be able to sort it out and as I was helpless I sent it for repair. To save their engineers time, rather than reassemble it I explained it in all in a letter. It was all completely misunderstood and they accused me of using it with all the electrics exposed. I was told before they could begin to find the fault they would have to replace all the parts I had fitted including the headlight. It was suggested buying one of their reconditioned models would be cheaper than the cost of a repair. I now think their skilled engineers are merely assemblers and are not capable of fault finding. I do not want to detract from my opinion of the scooter..apart from the lack of up to date electrics…without a doubt, it is one of the best on the market but it is like a TV or washing machine if there is a fault get another one, the cost of repair is too expensive.
After I’d decided to forego the repair I arranged to have the scooter collected by DPD and returned. I did not receive the shipment and DPD say they had returned it to Efoldi because of either a missing label or bad paperwork. Efoldi have said they didn’t receive it so nobody knows where it is.
