Chingford Location - good for returning CBTs
Chingford Location: I felt the training was good for returning CBT. But for new riders the training was not sufficient. New riders were sent home before the road ride but it felt like they never had a chance to go on it. If you are a new CBT I strongly suggest booking the 2nd return session as I think it is impossible for them to allow you to "pass" on the 1st session. They design it and staff it that way. Quite different set up vs other places I have done the CBT. Again, for returning CBT drivers, I feel it was a good training.

Really saddened by these guys. Paid extra to do the CBT with training, and the option to retake the test later again as I knew I would get a little nervous on the bike. Went out for a road ride but agreed to come back another day so I could have more experience. Was made redundant the day after and didn't get around to calling them to rearrange for 5 days. Was told I'd lost my money. Told that it was "at the discretion of the company" but had to rebook in 3 days. If it was at the discretion of the company, why couldn't they be flexible. Read the Trust Pilot reviews after then realised I should NEVER have booked with these guys. I'm now £250 out of pocket, with no certificate and these guys have basically robbed me of the second day I paid for. Appaling customer service. Now I can't afford to do it again on account of my job. Really poor to treat people like this. COMPLETE MONEY GRABBERS I WISH I'D READ THESE REVIEWS SOONER. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I DID
Hatfield edventure rider
Brilliant staff very patient and understanding and had helped me grow and learn to ride 100% recommend

I’m very happy with the way they conducted everything every angle the way they explained what to do and what to avoid and all that helped me to pass my test I can’t thank them enough.
Well done and carry on doing what you love to do.
Benny and Graham at Hatfield
Benny and Graham at Hatfield were excellent. A well structured CBT day and very professionally run. Also enjoyable, which is important
Scammers
I have covid and spoke to the company to try and reschedule my course date. Was very rude down the phone and have been ignoring my emails. Basically just spent 190 for nothing. Would avoid. I have proof of this aswell

I just pass my CBT from Edventurerider today, Diyan was really nice and professional teacher.
Recommend you guys, Hussain
Thanks
Disappointing customer service but good instructors
I booked and completed the CBT course online, which was superb! Bart was an excellent instructor (the gear and manual bike were fine too). However, trying to book the DAS and additional training for the full licence has been disappointing. I've not heard back from Ed of "Edventurerider" after several exchanges so I'm looking at another school.
Overall the Training was superb
Overall the Training was superb. My only issue was the fact that the HONDA CBF125 clutch was extremely spongy and this made it difficult to consistently operate while doing manoeuvres ( such as the hill starts or pulling off from a stand still)
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I wanted to pass the CBT on my own motorcycle. The instructor (Alan) didn't like my bike's exhaust pipe (too loud). Even though I just passed the MOT. I suggested renting their motorbike. To which the instructor replied that they do not accept payments on the same day. If you don't want to just donate £180 don't use this company. I strongly do not recommend.
27th June CBT
Had my CBT today with Edaventurerider; instructor was top notch!! Very informative, explained everything and offered very good ways to remember thighs. Definitely would recommend!!

Awaiting a response due to booking a day training and being asked to pay further monies for more instruction as they had staffing issues. Yet not able to book via website and called to speak to manager and told they weren't available. No phone number to contact them and not allowed to pass on my own number to request a callback. Instructed to email them then they hung up. Sounded like they were in a playgroup playground. Maybe a second job? Still waiting......
5 stars
Did my CBT today with Graham in Hatfield, very professional, he gave lots of useful tips and advice, made me feel confident and ready to head out on the road. Looking forward to doing my Mod 1 and 2 with edventure, highly recommended.
First time rider (50+ bloke dreaming…
First time rider (50+ bloke dreaming about cruising in a Harley Davidson in the USA one day), bit nervous, so went for the automatic bike. Enjoyed the training, plenty of mistakes made, naturally, but Graham gave good tips, was patient and encouraging and I managed to improve and get out on the road. Not sure I would have done so in the manual as it's a lot to learn if you haven't ridden a bike before. One person from our group of 4 didn't make it to the road test. He fell several times during the exercises in the car park; more practice time needed, which is difficult to fit into a day course. Starting from scratch is a challenge, so I would definitely recommend going for the automatic. Great experience overall. Many thanks.
Not for new riders. Best for experienced ones.
I didn't believe the One stars until I tried them myself and burnt £180.
If you are a new rider, go elsewhere or pray you don't have Alan for an instructor if you already decided to go with them in hope. A British guy that is politely rude, in a British way. Fancy telling a new rider to "use your brains" after he decided to not take me on the road, saying it was the end of the Lesson.
Firstly, their policy says it's a 2:1 ratio of rider to instructor. On the day, it was 4:1! The 3 other people he continued the lesson with, were already good riders in their respective native countries before coming to the UK. So what was meant to be a 'compulsory basic training' ended up being an assessment. There were no trainings involved, but instructions followed by sneaky assessment.
Truthfully, I hit a cone and a kerb in their car park during the training. One would expect that to be normal in an actual training. Shouldn't the instructor help the new rider, giving appropriate guidance and watch them get it right? Not decide you are not good enough to be trained or to be taken on the road.
That was a drawback of having 4 riders to 1 instructor. Alan decided the experienced riders (who already rode in their native countries as they told me) were better off to be focused on and taken on the road.
Very sad. Very unfair. And definitely not worth paying all that money for.
This is not just a bitter loser or bad student or angry learner leaving a bad review for losing sake, but a honest appraisal from an objective stand point.
After even reminding him that they promised the CBT was not a test but training, and I deserve a chance to be trained, Alan told me to "use my brain"! He said to go pay & book another appointment and repeat the same format - the definition of insanity.
If you have ridden before and know your way with motorbikes, then EDVENTURE RIDES is a good place to get your CBT. But if like me, you are a new rider, don't go there to burn your money.
God help you if on the day, you are lumped with 4 or 6 other riders who are already experienced and you have Alan for an instructor. You will no doubt be sent home before you go on the road.
Goodluck to all new riders out there.

I have just done my CBT today and passed! Thanks to my instructor Digan! He was professional, helpful and friendly. He made the whole process easy and but at the same time left no stones unturned. I will go for the full licence with the same location: Chingford...Best
Edventure - High quality training
Excellent experience during my CBT training with a great instructor!! I felt safe and under constant professional guidance all the way through. It was also great that all machines were new or about and well maintained. The website is very visual, easy to use and provides all necessary information. Very good communication via e-mails. I would definitely recommend Edventure for your CBT or motorcycle training and will use them again in two years time.
Oh, yes, one minus (had to put it on trying to be objective): the price is a bit higher too compared with the other training centres ;)
Absolutely appalling customer service
Really poor experience.
My daughter booked her CBT, left at 6.30am to get there for an 8.30 start. Trains were delayed so she called them and they told her to turn around and go home as she was going to be late. This was after 1.5hrs travelling. She got off the train, got an uber and arrived 10 mins late only to be rudely told that she had lost her booking and money. Even though everyone was still there and if they had started, it was only just. A hard, cruel and expensive (a lot of work/savings lost) lesson for a 17 yo, who then fell ill on the way home which took another 3hrs because she was ill on the train. Absolutely appalling customer service.
