I used the 'Top Journal Editing'…
I used the 'Top Journal Editing' service and was very satisfied with it, especially with the 'English Journal Answers Editing' service. The editor's comments on the revisions were very helpful in understanding the intent of the reviewer's questions, and I was also very satisfied with the overall balance and terminology revisions of the paper, rather than just revising one context. I think this service is very helpful, especially in situations that require in-depth revisions such as 'Major revision'. I will definitely use Editage's 'Top Journal service' in the future.

Reserve time for additional corrections
SUMMARY
Many changes were carried out well in time but only a (conservatively estimated) fraction 0.9 contained sensible corrections (as was established later on). The remainder consisted of a 0.01 rate for the introduction of plain grammatical errors, which made me investigate the rest, leading to a 0.07 fraction of more errors introduced by Editage and (as turned out later on) a fraction 0.02 of unnecessary changes. A fraction of 0.01 were errors introduced by Editage that I had been unable to intercept and that surfaced only after submission of the edited paper.
To put this score in perspective: Editage introduced plain changes of meaning at a rate of 0.02 but an independent editor and native speaker did so at a rate of 0.03. (This editor introduced 1 plain grammatic error i.e. 0% and, contrary to Editage, made bold changes and commented on changes.) The changes of meaning should therefore be considered a natural phenomenon, due to the difficulty of the text or to be conceived as suggestions for other wordings.
The main problem is not the netto 0.01 error introduction rate (netto, that is, after additional corrections) but the considerable time needed for correction of the changes and for reacting otherwise on the 0.1 rate by which Editage made unreliable changes.
Editage returned ‘profuse apologies,’ made a total refund, and guaranteed to improve the service.
CONCLUSION
When contracting Editage for its advanced editing service (two native speakers who are experienced editors), reserve time for the case that additional corrections are needed.
