Very interesting place. Mainly enjoyed it.
However they had many messages about the planted being destroyed by clearing forests to provide land for food production. But no mention of the fact that over food consumption is a major issue that their customers should address.
Overweight people are a major cause of the planets problems.

The message should be highly visible - and it was nowhere to be seen.

Good day out but in my opinion it is overpriced. I probably wouldn't go back as I don't feel it is good value for money.

Overpriced garden centre. Would not recommend.

Hugely overpriced for what it is. £38 each if you pre-book or £42 each on the door. The grounds are vast but to be honest, you can see the same sort of plants in most garden centres. The biodomes are tired and nothing to write home about. My sister and husband are visiting Cornwall next week and said they were planning on visiting but after showing them the photos I took, they're not going to bother. If the price was £10-£12 each, it'd be worth a visit but £76 for 2 is just ridiculous

We had thought we’d drop in on the Eden Project along the way - we visited when it first opened, years ago.

Hold on! £76 for the two of us?

Seriously?

No. That can go towards a hotel or an evening meal.

Particularly as we remember the site as a worthy effort, but somehow falling short of both promises and expectations.

I went with my wife to watch the Eden Sessions with Biffy Clyro.
Amazing night, band were brilliant .

Once the concert finished that is when the issues started!
Everyone was funnelled out via one route only (very dangerous) and it took 40 minutes to do a 5 minute walk.
I know there is 6000 people leaving at the same time, but funnelling to one exit is idiotic!

Once out of the venue, the next issue arose!
The car parks and cars exiting was utter kayos and absolute madness, no sense of common sense, staff standing around just letting random cars out, no one paying any attention!

We had a random member of public directing traffic and did a far better job than the Eden projects own staff.
From the concert finishing to getting back to St Austell took an hour and a half!
After a great night, the end was ruined by sheer incompetence and idiocy!

I would really decide if you could find another venue as getting out/home might be something that could take forever!

Absolutely disgusting that there is not military discount serving or veterans but allow a blue light card. Absolute disgrace considering the location is so close to so many serving personnel

We attended the Texas and KT Tunstall Eden Session this week.
I had unexpectedly broken my ankle, and we were unable to swap to the disabled area as it was sold out.
We took my wheelchair and from the moment we arrived at the top road by the carparks we were looked after so kindly by the parking assistants.
They allowed my husband to drive to Apple and park up.
We went extra early to try and suss out where I could watch the gig safely.
The arena staff were so helpful. They recommended a great spot.
I had a brilliant view of the stage most of the evening. And my foot wasn't at risk of people accidentally bumping into it.
The whole experience was excellent. Every member of staff we encountered was so kind and helpful.
And the much looked forward to concert was absolutely brilliant.
Thank you to the whole Eden Team for enabling me to still attend safely.

I love the place.
The food is a bit pricey, but different. Food is generally overpriced in Cornwall. I saw a pub charging £18.50 for Fish, Chips & Peas. So, to pay £9.99 for a healthy option is not too bad on a day out.

The ticket price allows unlimited visit for a year. But,most tourist will only visit once. So, they need to offer a 1 visit ticket price, plus couples and family tickets.

I think that a lot of disappointment comes from people who don't realise that it is not a theme park and you must have some interest in plants and nature to make the most of it.

ps: It is far from an Amusement Park!

Came here to leave a review as shocked by the negative experiences people have had. Living locally this is one of our favourite places to visit. It’s stunning and there’s so much to do and see. Definitely great for outdoorsy families and people who love visiting gardens. Great outdoor play area. We go during term time and we don’t have to queue. Initial ticket prices are costly if you only visit once in the year but we visit numerous times and you only pay once so we consider it pretty good value for money and much cheaper than annual passes most other places.

A fading, overpriced, poorly operated moneymaking machine.

We spent £236 for 10 of us - that includes 2 blue lighters (who don't exactly get much time off to do stuff with their families) and 2 under 5s who were free - so the average cost per paying person (including a 7 and 9 year old and two grand parents) was £29.50. We had pre-booked, timed entry tickets, except when we got to the entrance all we found was overcrowded chaos - no clear signage for where to queue if you were either pre-booked, local or paying on the day. The person handling our entry on till 11 didn't know what they were doing - indicative of poor training - and next to them was a young man with a tablet who said he could only do entries for local people although there was no signage to say that was what he was doing and neither was he being proactive in making his role clear.

Once into the site we found that there was a lack of good signage, e.g. in the rainforest biome it would be sensible to have signs saying if you want to queue to go up onto the viewing platform, queue on the left of the appropriate walkway, if you want to walk back down keep to the right - instead there was a young woman who walked through us and did not explain any of the above until she got herself to the fork in the walkway where she briefly directed people before legging it away down and leaving the chaos behind. The rainforest biome was very overcrowded and at no time did we see any attempt to limit people flows in leading to near crushes on some of the paths - not safe.

Signage generally was poor - epitomised by the map at the entrance to the Mediterranean biome which very helpfully shows the entrance on the left hand end of the map when based on how you actually walk in to that biome the entrance should be on the right hand end of the map - or non-existent - where was the covered picnic area - we never found it - or did we without knowing because there were no obvious signs ?? :-)

The Eden Project used to be an amazing, inspiring place, now it is a rather fading, overpriced, poorly operated moneymaking machine.

Awesome experience and day out visiting the Eden Project. Plenty of disabled parking and easy access to the site via a lift. I spent about 4 1/2 hours getting around the site and didn’t see everything, easy access to the biomes with plenty of areas to sit and rest when needed, both the Mediterranean and rainforest biomes were really interesting with lots of different species of plants, flowers and trees as was the outdoors areas with plenty of places to sit and enjoy a picnic outdoors,
The staff around the site were really friendly and helpful all in all a great day out so a big thank you to everyone who is involved with the site

Poorly labelled signage in car park, only saw there was a shuttle bus once we’d gotten to the visitor centre. Huge queues for the pre-booked tickets lanes. Had to go out the exit in order to use the toilets, cafe and shop at the welcome centre then queue to get back in. Used a toilet in the ‘Core’ building but it had run out of soap. Queued 20 minutes at the ice cream parlour to get the dog friendly ice cream that is advertised on the menu only to be told that they didn’t have any and the staff didn’t think they’d ever sold dog-friendly ice cream. Bins were overflowing so rubbish was scattered. The covered seating area by the biomes has a glass roof so is far too warm on a sunny day when you want to sit in the shade. Overall a poor visitor experience given the cost.

Christmas and Halloween are my favourite times to visit

Had a great time here with the family, quite expensive but worth it and the biodomes heated by geothermal was amazing.

A fantastic site—rich in history, engaging, and well worth a visit. It’s a wonderful way to spend an afternoon exploring and learning. However, the experience was somewhat marred by a staff member, bedraggled older blond lady - who spoke with a German accent - I think her name began with A, whose approach came across as abrasive and patronising. A little more warmth and professionalism would go a long way. That aside, the site itself is excellent and highly recommended.

I ordered multiple items 4 out the five item arrived the 5th item was a bee house I’ve had no contact from the company about when the last item was gunna arrive then I went on the website and the item I bought now doesn’t exist on there website I emailed them a week ago no contact luckily I paid through PayPal to get part of my money back and still no contact from Eden Projects they seemed to like taking your money for good that somehow disappeared from there website ADVOID ADVOID even buying anything from there company just a bunch of con artist

Worth visiting but very expensive at £42 each adult, no family tickets either, only went today because we got free tickets with the national lottery and we only live 10 minutes away. No bus service down to it either so it's a long walk down hill and then up again back to the car park,when it's raining is definitely an off put.
Rainforest was very nice to walk through but the cactus biome very disappointed it's so small. Could be double the size and that would still be small.

ovely day out at the eden project cornwall, this was my 3rd visit - first 2000 or 2001, second 2009 or 2010 & third 2025.
We loved seeing how established all the plants had gotten, especially in the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes.
Love the rope bridge in the Rainforest Biome.
Plenty to look at and lots of places to sit down and relax.
Found 'Eve' in the Wild Edge, sister to the Mud Maid at Heligan.
Really friendly staff throughout Eden and they called for a go cart buggy to take my parents back to the top ( mum has cancer and was struggling to walk).
They do have free of charge wheelchairs and mobility scooters to use if needed (mum doesn't want to give in).
Cafés / restaurant have a menu that caters to all and is similar in price to Heligan and the National Trust.
Visitors entrance area shop is great with plenty of eco souvenirs to purchase.
Really enjoyed our visit.
