Dirty, tired and neglected.
Installations broken, flower beds full of weeds, overpriced food and entrance fee.
Even the staff looked as though they didn’t want to be there.
Save your money as it’s certainly NOT a great day out. Will never go again and will advise the same to visitors.

Bad service and very expensive, Whilst on holiday near by some of my group decided to visit the EDan Project .we arrived at 10 am went into pay the price is £40 per adult, on atriving at the till to pay the lady at the till asked the person in front of me if they had a blue light card or if they were a member of the Emergency services and then started to take loads of information so that they could claim gift aid .whilst in the queue their was a Que building behind be so another lady from another set of till walked past me and then started to take the people from behind me to another till area . They do not even ask me if I wanted to move to a quicker till.on speaking to the lady at the till she did not ask if I had a blue light cars or was in the emergency services and just charged me and then moved on .we then visited some of the reaustrants and they are very expensive you get discount of £0.30p when you take your own cup or you can pay £2.50 to borrow a cup . The staff are rude and the place is very expensive. It cost me nearly £10.00 for 2 hot drinks . The parking is tight and a long way up a hill if someone is disabled .However they do provide wheelchair and electric wheel chairs for people and the toilets are immaculate.but if you visit then please take out a

Turned up today after travelling over an hour to visit only to find out the whole place was closed for a three day event. We went on the website four times in the days leading up to our trip and no obvious pop up to say it’s closed. The rude man on the gate says it states very clearly on the website that it’s closed but when I asked further he admitted it only said it on the opening times page. We went on the homepage and on the visit us page and there was no mention of it being closed. As I was arriving at 10am, I didn’t need to check opening times. If the site is closed, there should be a pop up to warn visitors. No even when we parked or walked in with two prams did anyone stop us to say there is a conference on. No apology just a rude man that said it was ‘very very obvious on the website’. Waste of time, rude staff and extremely poor marketing team on the website front… how difficult is it to put up a notice on the homepage (not hard at all).

Absolutely gutted waited 25 years to go to the Eden project. Feel totally upset. Far too much money £80 for 3 hours and we saw everything. Brambles in many beds seem good feature .? As for food we wanted to eat but could not face the ques.
Highlight of day was a Firecrest in a tree and the walk from the car park which was free should have stayed there.

Maybe a good idea to get the Gardeners you have to actually do something other than walk around for the time we were there. Hope this is wake up beacause no way you going to be there in next 25 years unless you sort that mess out. Amazing domes such skill to build.

Run down, sad, had its time which is now over.

Me and my family love going to Eden.

We have a locals pass which means that we can go an unlimited amount of times a year, making it our go to 'cheap day out.' In general, once your admission is covered, you can spend as little or as much as you want.
We take packed lunch when we go normally, but when we have gotten hot food before I don't remember it being super expensive. Whilst it's not cheap, growing up down here it's kind of what I'd expect to pay for lunch at a touristy place. Also, do not get coffee from the Biome Kitchen (where you get the hot food.) Go to the Barista cafe instead (on the med side) - they actually do decent coffee. Also, you can eat inside with your packed lunch, which is not always a given.
You do need to take your own water bottle though, because if you have to buy a bottle when you're there, they only have metal or glass ones that are refillable, and are like £4 each.
If you have kids, I definately recommend going to The Core (the education building), especially if it is raining as there are some really fun things in there, including some like twisty turntables and stuff that they can play with. I mention this because despite going quite a few times a year for several years we'd always skipped out on this part, but it's actually really really fun, and also has a second going through mobile phones and stuff which teenagers might find interesting.

£11 for a burger no fries ice skating overcrowded staff are rude and unhelpful place is rundown and tired and very overpriced biome we're closed for lightshow but no signs we are locals but won't be rushing back whole place is an expensive overpriced mess!!

We went in December and did the ice skating as well as the biomes. The ice rink was heaving with people - lots of chaos and cutting across each other which wasn't enjoyable at all. The biomes were also full of people so that we were sort of swept along the paths in a wave. A lot of the lights, particularly along the paths, shone directly in our eyes so you couldn't really see anything, and certainly couldn't see to read any information signs, so I had no idea what I was looking at most of the time. Inside the main building, guess what, it was heavingly full again, and the noise level was unpleasant with lots of children shouting and crying. Overall it was a stressful and unpleasant experience which I definitely would not want to repeat.

The whole place is run down, we attended 23/12/25 ,paid for the Christmas lights what a complete waste of money this place needs some investment if not it will close !!!

Really disappointed,
For the price, with no welcome drink or after dinner coffee, and the price of the drinks. The food was really really disappointing, We were looking forward to a lovely well cooked Christmas dinner.
The potatoes were auntie Bessie’s. The sausages were anaemic, the stuffing was tray baked and came out like bricks. The veg was extremely well peppered.
I have been told the soup tasted and smelt like BO. The sticky toffee pudding had huge pieces of ginger in.
I was part of a large group and most of us felt the same way.
The atmosphere was poor with bright lights no crackers.
Just generally, for the price of things, poor.

So if you want to go ice skating you have to pay extra for entry aswel as ice skating cost then after youv paid for that if you want to see the lights on at night your charged again. So for me and my family of 5 its just cost me about 200quid that's not counting fule and food there when did hot water and a tea bag get so expensive.

Seems to me that it's not just the animal species on this planet getting screwed over by humans its humans them selfs. And I know I'm going to hear well its the cost of everthing going up. But you know what if it wasn't profitable to do it you wouldn't do it so clearly your profits as protected by us paying more. But I guess always protect the capital ay. Thanks for a lovely day out.

We've just visited the Eden Project for the third time since its opening and we enjoyed the experience.
The prominent environmental information correctly identifies the impact of climate change and the part that fossil fuels have played in this, particularly since the industrial revolution which can be traced back to the early 1800s.
What it AVOIDS mentioning is that in the year 1800, the worlds population was estimated to be 1 billion. Currently it is estimated to be around 8 billion with this expected to soon exceed 10 billion.
It avoids mention of this as perhaps the greatest cause of increased co2 emissions, deforestation, loss of habitat, over fishing and conflict.
Please provide fair and balanced information.

Previously I've loved Eden, but things are changing there, financial struggles meaning that many employees have lost their jobs, activities are fewer and they're expensive. Take the Santa experience where I was asked to pay the same price as my daughter, so £32 for one child!! Total rip-off. Then a half-term visit with ice skating - £29 for 50 minutes with my daughter.

Many attractions haven't been updated, aren't interactive enough for kids, and facilities look worn out in places.

On our half-term visit, despite timed entry, there were massive queues. Staff were friendly but sooo slow, efficiency and friendliness could surely be combined. Staff on the ice cream shop in the main building were stressed and making mistakes. Hope Eden can recover - but so many bad reviews I see.

Signage could do with a refresh, some of the words no longer visible to read, disappointed!
Toilets were dirty in general, hygiene and cleanliness could do with a better effort by staff

We visited on Sunday 28 September 2025. A fantastic experience from easy parking, quick to move through the reception desk and then the lovely sights of the Eden Project from start to finish. A happy place to visit and it makes you feel thankful that the Eden Project is here for us now and for the future, protecting our world.
Special big thanks to Naomi on customer service. She helped with our motorbike gear and her kindness really made our day.

Staff are amazing but the wait to get in, those with pre booked tickets should have an express lane not stuck behind on the day purchases. Seriously poor for anyone with disabilities no regular shuttle from the car park a number to call if you need assistance!!!! This is a must for the disabled, a few scooters and wheelchairs is tokenistic. Getting there by public transport to this supposedly environmentally conscious place is a joke!!!! Leaving the sign to the bus stop wasn't clear and impossible to find. Get your act together Eden

The whole place was tired, I went today and I was so excited about going. What a massive disappointment. The gardens were a mess and overgrown brambles, not clearly signposted so end up in a dead end. Huge parts of the gardens were unloved and I would be embarrassed to have them open to a paying public. There is not enough info in the tropical biome as to what the name plants, or any information about them. To be honest you don’t need a mediterranean biome, most of the plants you can grow here. It was more interesting when it went off to other countries. With cactus and succulents. Your garden Centre plant sale was rubbish and I was really disappointed with the house plants. I really thought I was going to get some plants that you can’t get anywhere else, I was massively disappointed with this. Travelled all the way from Hampshire to see this definitely won’t be coming back.

£84 FOR 2 PEOPLE!!! (plus another £6 if you want a guide/programme) Absolute rip off!. The Biomes are tired looking. The extra bits, i.e 'Tunnel of Love', 'The butterfly' enclosure (plastic butterflies hang from the ceiling and are lit up by LED lights) and the 'Immersive Centre' are just a complete waste of time.
Charging those prices for a glorified garden centre is daylight robbery!!. Was a lovely walk around but for £84 i think not.
