I am a pastor of a church in Scotland and went to this insurer because of its church/ Christian connection. They would not give me insurance because I have a criminal conviction from when I was a teenager. I just replied this to them:

“Thank you for your reply, for which I am grateful. However, I must admit it is very disappointing that a company which for years would have made a fortune out of church work and church workers will not entertain a church-worker (me) because of my past. It is ironic that God Himself sees it fit to wipe my slate clean, yet a Christian/ church-connected insurer will not. Kind regards…….”
