Very unreliable platform and awful experience on 22-Oct-2025.Host cancelling during pickup.
I book a convertible car for few hours to surprise my son on his birthday with all plans in place. I get the confirmation from host on DriveLah and the charges are deducted from my account. As I reach all the way to the venue and call the host, he conveniently say he is not interested as he overlooked the hourly offerings and comfortably dishonouring the booking, and all the more he ask me to cancel stating he is not reachable. It’s no less than a fraud.
DriveLah customer care was helpless and the only help they offered is to cancel from their end which was a joke.
People rely on services and platform because they are meant to eliminate such issues. I even proposed to pay double.
It is not about money or refund, it’s about the trust and in my case I planned to pick my son from a venue as a surprise and the entire plan was ruined. Felt very embarrassing in the last.
As a platform, there must be some policies and legal coverage. There seems to be none here and so far the DriveLah has not reached out to me on this matter..

Amber help me to assist my guest for his first time rental of my vehicle for the start of trip procedure. Thank you for the extra miles given.

It is disappointing to observe the lack of structure and operational discipline within the company. While the customer service team has been reasonably prompt in acknowledging and responding to issues, the organisation as a whole has not been able to deliver on its promises. Refunds were delayed, and the credit offered as compensation remains unissued even after two weeks. Furthermore, the inability to provide a clear and committed timeline — with “ASAP” used loosely — has caused unnecessary inconvenience.

For users, be mindful that while responses may be quick, follow-through and fulfilment of commitments can be inconsistent. I hope the management takes these issues constructively to improve accountability and provide a more reliable customer experience in the future.
