Dreams - Gateshead Metro Omdömen 

We were specifically looking for an ottoman bed for our son and visited a number of stores before visiting Dreams. The staff were really friendly and allowed us to wander the store freely. We identified the Yardley Ottoman Bed Frame and a helpful staff member was able to provide us with some greater detail. Once we decided on the frame we were asked about the type of mattress and to be honest we weren’t sure but luckily the store had ‘Sleepmatch’ which was is a piece of technology, essentially a bed which you lie on for 3 mins which identifies the most suitable mattress for you. It was recommended my son use a ‘medium’ grade mattress and we purchased a Simmonds mattress, along with mattress protector and Silentnight pillows. The bed & mattress were delivered on a date and time that suited us, we took the pillows and mattress cover on the day. We found shopping with Dreams a very pleasant experience, there was no pressure, their range of products was excellent, prices affordable, but mainly due to the friendly nature and knowledgeable staff.

Delivered on time with notification spot on assembled quickly everything explained room left tidy very good job all round

Loved the sales woman in the shop. I went in wanting a gel top mattress and came out with a pillow top mattress. We got the padstow which was on offer. When the mattress arrived the delivery men took it upstairs and gave us clear instructions. I thought it would take a while to get used to a new mattress but I’ve never slept so good!

Sales lady lovely, very helpful. Delivery as promised. Guys to put it together were efficient, polite and friendly. Old bed removed, very pleased with the quality of the bed frame and the service. Recommend.

Our advisor was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. This was the first time I bought a mattress, and I did't know what to look for. The services offered by Dreams left me feel confident and pleased with my choice. I also was impressed by the sleep machine. I thought it was very innovative and helpful.

Initially my wife and I were going to bypass Dreams, Thank goodness we didnt, We were welcomed by the lovely Susan and spent more than hour with her, First class customer service, so thorough, and met all our needs and also has the patience of a saint ha ha.
We would recommend Dreams for anyone thinking of purchasing a new bed and pillows. Susan and Justine are an amazing asset to this company and no pressure sales just amazing staff. The Dreams team were very friendly and sorted my request for a new bed for my son out very quickly with no problems.

After spending a year or so going back and forth to various shops we decided it’s time to buy a mattress.
We opted for the Rochester mattress as it was a medium/firm and suited me just perfect
especially being in the sale also was an added attraction.
Ric who worked at the store was brilliant and made the sale easy without being pushy and I think thats what sold it for me.
So cheers and thanks for making my nights in bed even more exciting!

The purchase was ok but the delivery driver was very rude. I had taken a delivery and assemble service and one of the person was rude and started shouting in an intimidating manner when I politely told him that he had assembled a bed in the wrong position. He rudely shouted “do you want me to do your interior designing”!! He then threatened to leave the furniture half assembled. In order to avoid hassle, I left but asked him to give me his name so that I can a formal complaint. He kicked off thereafter and left abruptly.

I called the store immediately (on 16/1/24) and I was reassured action, and that someone will get back to me within a few days. However, I am still waiting to hear from the customer service.

Dreams should not employ such drivers who are aggressive and threatening.

Staff were lovely and really helped me! Everything was explained fully and they gave me all the options I needed.

Suzan welcomed us to the store, I was slightly anxious about the sheer volume of mattresses to choose from, however she showed us the Sleepmatch machine which narrows it down to 3/4 mattresses to suit all budgets.
After explaining the different options we tried some out and went for a Silent night which was on offer and was an absolute bargain! Suzan was just great from start to finish, all of the floor team were just really lovely and very knowledgeable! Would absolutely recommend Dreams & the team at the Metrocentre store to anyone!
