Engineer rang to say he was 5/10 mins away,just came to check the boiler as I had just taken out a new contract, wasn't there very long,10 mins approx, said everything was ok,everything seemed ok.

Paid for a full year of boiler cover…
Paid for a full year of boiler cover expecting the peace of mind of a service, but when the service was due, their engineer refused to carry it out over alleged access issues. The boiler had previously been accessed and serviced by another engineer without any problem.
Instead, I ended up being charged £84 for the missed appointment, despite disputing the reason for it. Customer service was equally frustrating, and I ultimately paid the £84 simply to put the matter behind me.
A complete waste of money and a very disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend staying away from this company.

Our engineers must be able to safely access and remove the boiler casing before carrying out a service. In this case, the attending engineer advised that they were unable to do so.
We appreciate this wasn't the outcome you were hoping for, but our decisions have to be based on the information available to us at the time and the engineer's findings. If you'd like us to review anything further, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Boiler Service
The engineer arrived on the agreed day. The time slot of 8am to 6pm seemed rather long these days. I received a verbal assurance that the boiler was in good working order. I have not yet received a written report. Other engineers have provided written reports which I have found useful. I requested a written report and received it the same day.
