My bernedoodle was very food picky when she was a puppy and I used this site to research her food before I tried something new. Now I rely on it for recalls especially for her treats.

A rich field of useful information. I particular like the star ratings. It allows for a quick assessment on a particular brand of dog food you may potentially buy. I have read dozens of reviews from Dog Food Advisor over the years, they are extremely useful. For me, we had a Chocolate Lab with itchy skin issues, so much so he would lick himself raw. After an exhaustive search I came across Dog Food Advisor and armed myself with information, made a change and within a month my Chocolate Labs skin issues were well on it's way to mending.

Dog food advisor is an excellent source of information about dogs. They present it in a professional and non biased fashion. They also offer some great coupons or discounts for things dogs need.

Decades ago I learned of this site from a fellow dog club member. I started just receiving their recall alerts. Then I started using their spectacular independent analysis of foods. That proved invaluable when I had 2 dogs with health problems and sensitive stomachs. I especially love their various special sales to try different foods. It has been invaluable both from a cost standpoint and saving me spending hours in a pet store reading labels that still don't ip j lbalways tell me what I need to know.

I have relied on Dog Food Advisor for years. In those many years, each year I see more helpful, reliable information. And, the fact that dog food manufacturers cannot buy him, allows me to trust DFA even more. I like how he’s expanded his list to include treats and covering raw pet foods. Raw is all we feed, whether it’s meals or treats. We need independent, straight-thinking, knowledgeable to turn to when we need info. For our dog food, it’s DFA!

First of all the recall information is VERY helpful, and the various emails I receive periodically always contain useful information pertaining to dog food. Besides that, any time I need additional information I just go to their website, look it up and usually find what I need. Every time I have to change my dog's food for any reason, I first look up the new one that I am planning to buy on their website to see the reviews and to make sure I am buying my dog quality food. Now a side note: I registered a date below just because it was required, but I don't have a specific date of experience, my good experience with Dog Food Advisor is ALWAYS, EVERY DAY, since I discovered them years ago.

I've used Dog Food Advisor for several years now to help guide me on best dog foods and treats. I believe they work hard to do their best to analyze pet foods, provide detailed information, and keep us updated on recall's that are important to pet parents. The information they provide has been very good and helpful for me when considering food's for my fur baby.

I am thankful they post recalls fast. Many times the main stream media doesn't cover sog food. They are also a great source on nutritional information

I have followed this site for several years and always find the recall notices helpful and very timely. The last time I used the site I was trying to find something to help with issues with my very senior dogs. I found a food topping that has totally changed dinner times and I could not be more pleased. Highly recommend this site.

I use Dog Food Advisor to give me the latest information on the best dog foods for my two Standard Poodles. I don't have time to review all of the available dog foods and have never been given inaccurate information from this site. I highly recommend Dog Food Advisor!

I’ve been using and recommending the Dog Food Advisor site for around a decade, maybe longer. We had picky giant breed dogs (Great Dane/St Bernard mix) and this site was instrumental in guiding me through the plethora of choices. Providing a list of high quality choices, our picky eater was finally satisfied and was with us for 13 1/2 years. We continue to use the site for puppy food recommendations and XL breeds. I use this website all the time. When I'm unsure about a company or the specific dog food I'm browsing, I am glad dog food advisor is there to easily show me everything I want to know. The UI is easy to browse and aesthetically pleasing and I am also appreciative of the dog food recall updates sent to my email.
