All items arrived in great condition. Took several weeks to get one piece of my order but it was due to manufacturer issues. They kept me informed from the get go. I will purchase from them again

Order carefully
I like that you had the product I wanted at a good price. But, when I ordered it online it was marked as free delivery without an in store option. So I ordered it online and was charged a $43.00 “EXTRA FEE: SHIPPING PROTECTION (shipping protection)”!!!!!!
I could have just as easily picked it up at the store and used the $43.00 for other equipment.

HI James,
Shipping Protection is something you can add to your order, at checkout. It covers lost, stolen, or damaged products. It's something you can remove, from your order, it's not mandatory. It's not something we are charging for, unless it's marked on your order, which this was. It's based on a % of the carts price, on how it's calculated. So, that dollar amount, was calculated based on the price of the Shearwater computer you ordered. It's actually a great value with all of the lost, stolen, and damaged package issues that are becoming too common with all of the shipping happening in today's world.
We also do offer in-store pickup. I'm not sure why it wouldn't have shown as an option for you, but it doesn't look like it was selected.
I'm sorry for the headache, but if you don't see the value in the shipping protection, just uncheck it at checkout on future orders. I will look into trying to see if there is an error on the instore pickup, but we do still have those happening daily, so I'm not sure what could have happened.

Item was originally out of stock, but they communicated very well, and were able to make sure I had the product in time. Great selection of products, too!

Online store is easy to navigate
Online store is easy to navigate. I received prompt updates during shipping and items were at my house the same week I ordered, which was great as they were last minute items before our trip. Thanks
