Arrive and the box was really tatty torn on corners and sides. No go to give as a gift.

Mascara arrived fully sealed, when opened its totally dried out…completely useless
Request for a replacement or a refund made impossible via customer service after sending photos and a video of the dried mascara DC still messing me about wanting more details!!

Well… I was a bit dubious ordering from an online company ,well I have to say they were fantastic ,excellent delivery time ,excellent price and items as described …from now on this will be the company I use for beauty supplies ,so glad I found this gem

I had absolutely No issues ordering from Direct Cosmetics. My order was immediately Acknowledged, and I was kept well informed by e-mail of Packing, Dispatch and Tracking details which are Delivered by Royal Mail.
My items were Fantastically priced, Packed well and individually Boxed and Delivery was well within the Timescales stated, and I have Placed Two Orders, and Both Arrived in Three Days, and there is also Free Delivery with Orders over £35.
If You Want 100% Genuine Fragrances at Rock Bottom Prices, then Look No further than Direct Cosmetics.

be warned when shopping with this company. there return policy is unfair and they will reject returns at the drop of a hat. so if you are shopping for family or friends or for yourself make sure you are 100% sure that you have no reason to return your items as they will not accept the returns nor will they refund your money. very poor return policy and grabby feel to the company. i can clearly see i made a mistake judging by the amount of bad reviews they have. so be warned.

Ordered full set of prismologie balms opened all of them...no fragrance whatsoever, they smell musty 😑 going to try the manufacturer as a,last resort otherwise its money £45 down the drain 😑

fantastic service ordered jovan musk aftershave i sent an email to them querying the delivery got an email back the following day confirming,i had read some reviews and and said to my wife who was paying for my aftershave as it was a 50th wedding anniversary present that at that price it wiil be fake arrived this morning(wow)amazon wanted £68.00 this cost £14.99 and it's the real stuff will be using rhis company in future,fantastic company,thank you cosmetics direct xx

Customer service really went down drastically in this company in the last few years. Before I would forget to apply the discount it could be fixed where now first of all received an email which didn't make sense grammatically in English, and second my request was completely ignored. Very well done on trying to lose your regular customers. Don't bother, shop elsewhere

Great value as usual, delivery a little slow due to Royal Mail strikes (they advised) but all arrived as ordered. My 5th order this year!

Appalling. They just don't give a monkeys They make things up as they go along. They lie. They ignore you. I wanted to return £80 of unwanted, unopened goods and 2 MONTHS later they still haven't refunded me. I'm going to take them to small claims court. Stay clear

Emailed their customer services the day my goods arrived as the quality of the lipstick was so poor as to render them useless. After 12 days I have heard nothing from them. Worst customer service I have ever had from any cosmetic supplier.
Edit. I now have heard from them after I chased. Bottom line - they are not interested and advise to complain to the manufacturer! The supplier is legally responsible for supplying goods 'fit for purpose'. Avoid.

We have placed 4 orders in a month. For our most recent one we paid expedited delivery. It arrived a week later. We spoke to a woman on the phone who advised it was due to Royal Mail delays. Sure but the customer has just as little control over Royal Mail as you do and have paid for an expectation of delivery. If you can't meet it for reasons beyond your control, do not charge the higher amount. Then she referred me to the "terms and conditions" - the number 1 killer of good will. A total Karen who doesn't understand terms and conditions wouldn't stand when it comes to us filing a dispute with PayPal as we paid for a service we did not get. But its not worth it. This company has no loyalty or good will. The customer service is passive aggressive (she can't even be bothered to say her name when picking up the phone - devoid of any personable skill) We will instead never recommend them and shop elsewhere. Hope they can use the extra money we paid for delivery towards teaching their CS some basic courtesy.

Be warned, if you need to return anything, their T&C's state that you will have to pay the postage (fair enough - unless faulty) and they then state -

"We will issue a full refund to your original payment method, at the price you paid for the product. Please note we will not refund any postage you may have paid on the original order."

NOT TRUE - they charged me an extra 20% restock fee (nothing to do with postage) and when I tried to find the reason why they reverted to type by not answering any emails and just refused to acknowledge me.

So if you need to return anything they will steal from you.

Do some research and find another supplier - there are plenty of honest retailers out there.

I ordered some Olay regenerist cream at a bargain price. It arrived a few days later by Royal Mail.
Fabulous value and service.

100% fake. I bought the La Nuit Tresor 50ml body lotion and 5ml EDP. I bought this to top up the lotion I bought and it doesn’t smell like the one I bought from John Lewis. The lotion smells very synthetic and doesn’t even smell close to the one I have. The 5ml EDP is worst. Weird smell, doesn’t lasts long on skin, and it’s definitely not La Nuit Tresor..What a waste of money.

I've purchased two fragrances and skincare from this company and they were legit items. Both orders arrived very quickly and I will definitely be using them again in future.

Best place to buy discount quality goods. Shopped with them for many years now. Never had a problem. And the products are always so well packed. Hasty despatch and delivery.
