Diesel Auto Express Omdömen 

We hired Nexus Auto Transport to coordinate the pickup and delivery of a very high-end vehicle from New York to Denver. Nexus posted the shipment on Central Dispatch, where Diesel Auto Transport claimed the load, received the confidential pickup information, and then canceled the order.
As a result, when someone claiming to be from Diesel arrived at the dealership to collect the vehicle, the pickup appeared consistent with the arrangements we had been told were in place. The vehicle was released to unauthorized individuals and subsequently disappeared.
There may be multiple parties involved, but the main breach appears to have occurred within Diesel’s system, where someone had enough information to claim the load and facilitate the unauthorized pickup.
This experience has been extremely costly and distressing, and the circumstances raise serious concerns about the security of their dispatch process. Diesel has not been responsive to me, only to Nexus. I cannot recommend Diesel Auto Transport or Nexus Auto Transport. Beware.

This was my first experience with an auto transport service. I'd purchased a new car remotely and had to transport it from Austin, TX to northwest Washington state. The transport broker I used arranged for the vehicle to ship through Diesel Auto Express. In all fairness, I would give them almost 5 stars: their drivers were super helpful, pleasant and communicated promptly during the pick-up and delivery. However, Diesel Express used another site to track the delivery progress and it provided no real time information other than when the vehicle was picked up and finally delivered. The price charged for the shipment was fair and I would recommend their services to others.

Grant and his co-driver went above and beyond to help me with stressful move from California to Florida .i was price gauged by the broker , and they even disregard my plans to leave On a certain date with flights booked . And Grant was so great at picking my car up in time for me to leave with my family for my flight. He is a true gem . They brought the car on time and safe . I give them 100 stars !! Awesome Job guys

Polite and professional, they stayed in touch throughout the last day making delivery smooth without a hiccup. My car was in perfect condition at time of delivery. I highly recommend this company. The drivers represented their company very well.

Very good communication and delivery on time

This carrier handled the transport of my vehicle (Ref #3394685) via Montway and failed basic professional standards. They hid a multi-day mechanical delay in a yard and provided zero tracking updates. I was unable to get a hold of the driver or dispatcher directly, so I finally called their main company office line on my delivery day (September 3). The office staff answered, and while they had me on hold, I watched them update their website tracking information in real-time before the representative came back on the line to finally admit to the delay. Worse, when the truck arrived, the carrier did zero pre-trip route planning and gave a chaotic 2-hour notice that they couldn't reach the house. The driver appeared completely clueless and unprepared; he could not explain where he was on a map or in relation to the main highway, making it impossible for my father to easily coordinate a backup spot. My father had to scramble under pressure, track him down, and ultimately give the driver step-by-step directions on how to safely navigate out of the area to his next stop. Completely incompetent execution and communication.

FINAL UPDATE (September 21): The carrier office ultimately provided a $50 partial credit in tandem with Montway's corporate settlement to resolve the delivery dispute. The execution of the delivery and lack of updates remain a core issue, but the financial settlement has been processed and accepted.

Please, for the love of God, never, ever use this company to transport your vehicle.
They had my car sitting in a yard from the day of pickup until the day we finally found out what was going on—nine days straight with no updates, no communication, and no information whatsoever. They were dishonest from the beginning. They repeatedly delayed my vehicle and gave me different delivery times.

Because of their delays, I was forced to rent a car twice. In the end, they delivered my vehicle at approximately 11:30 p.m. on the side of a busy, dark highway, completely unsafe and about two miles from the actual delivery address. The driver refused to go anywhere near the delivery address, even though it was in a residential neighborhood.

I tried to coordinate with the driver and suggested meeting at a huge Walmart parking lot where it would have been much safer and easier to unload the vehicle, but he refused.

The people at Diesel Auto Express were extremely difficult to deal with. They repeatedly put me on hold for 30–45 minutes, and it took four days just to get in contact with their dispatcher. I also had to spend additional money while I was stuck in another state because of their delays, and they refused to reimburse me—even though they repeatedly pushed back my delivery date.

Ted, the dispatcher, was absolutely horrible to deal with. He avoided me, lied to me, and failed to coordinate anything with me until I was literally on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I was in another state with no vehicle and no one willing to give me a straight answer about where my car was or when it would arrive.

This entire experience was absolutely atrocious from beginning to end.

So, once again: DO NOT USE DIESEL AUTO EXPRESS. Mark my words—if you do, you will regret it

Unreliable company. They will delay your shipping multiple times and drop the car wherever they feel like even if you are not available. Do not use. Customer service the word once they have your money they don’t care about your car or situation.

VERY SHADY COMPANY! This company accepted a job from Montway auto transport to move my car from northern Idaho to Texas. Instead they picked up my car and took it to a storage yard in 6 hours in the wrong direction to Vancouver and are storing it in their yard. Both companies have been ignoring my calls and texts and cant tell me anything about why this happened.

Diesel Auto Express is an absolutely dishonest company. Our car was delivered with perfectly symmetrical dents from the hydraulic cylinders coming down onto the roof of our car. It was delivered covered in dirt in the middle of a busy road. That’s where the driver wanted to drop it off to us. Now I know why. We signed for the delivery before noticing and now they deny any responsibility at all. There is no other way those dents and scratches could have been made. The driver had even called to tell me he’d be late because hydraulic fluid had been stolen from his truck. I am truly disappointed that such obvious delivery damage could be lied about and left on the customer. Do not ever use Diesel Auto Express if you care about your vehicle. It will be in the hands of absolutely dishonest, liars, who refuse to do the right thing, but gladly take your tip at delivery.

This company falls flat in the area of communication. They are only as good as their driver, and this one had very poor english speaking ability. He had arranged to meet us with the car in a city on his way down that would require us to drive 4 hours to get there (hint: they were unwilling to deliver it to our city). At some point, after my husband left, the driver figured out he woudn't be able to deliver the car that day, so he merely texted my husband, who wsn't going to look at his phone while on the road, and thus, he drove all the way there only to finally see tat text and realize it was a waster trip. The guy should have called, then he could have pulled over after seeing who was calling, but I think he was avoiding having to talk. These kinds of snafus happened all througout the two weeks it took to finally make this happen; I felt like it would be a miracle if we actually got our car! To be fair, the original broker was okay, but he chose what he chose for the trucking company, and we paid dearly for his choice. I do not recommend diesel auto express (until they improve customer communications)

One star because zero stars isn’t an option..

Despite my calls to locate my car in the 2.5 weeks between when it was picked up & when I finally heard from the driver, communication was non existent & no messages were returned. I’d give Customer service negative stars if icould

My car left my SOLD house on May 19th at 7:30 pm - and only because I called consistently for 2 days because my house was SOLD, packed & gone. The new owners were nice enough to allow me to stay until my car was picked up.

Sunday, May 31st I finally heard from the driver in the late afternoon letting me know my car would be delivered between 8:30 and 10 pm, and we’d have to meet him at a location 30 minutes away. Oh, and the car wouldn’t stay running once started & that they had to keep a “battery pack” on it to start. Ok - I replaced the battery less than a year ago, the engine had been rebuilt in the last 3 years, I’d checked all the fluids & put 1/2 tank of gas into it prior to moving. There’s no reason I can think of that it wouldn’t start and/or remain running. No explanation, just that’s what’s going on so be aware & possibly be prepared to buy a new battery to get home. At 10 pm on a Sunday?!

When I finally got my car, there was no gas. I don’t know if they went joy riding or what because it shouldn’t take a 1/2 tank of gas to pull a car off the transport & put it back on. So on top of everything else, I had to get gas, which meant the car wouldn’t start, so I had to charge the battery enough to start it & hope I would make it back the 30 minutes it would take me to get home. At now 11 pm on a Sunday.

Absolutely horrible experience with Sherpa Auto Transport and Diesel Auto Transport. bunch of liars

I was originally told the transport would take only 3–6 days. Instead, it took 11 days with constant delays, excuses, and zero professionalism.

I asked multiple times for basic updates and even requested a simple picture of the vehicle’s mileage/odometer, and they still failed to send it. The driver barely answered the phone, and customer service was completely useless the entire time.

Nobody seemed organized or capable of handling a serious business professionally. Every time I contacted them, I received different information and empty promises.

I would NEVER recommend these companies to anyone, no matter how cheap their prices are. Saving a little money is not worth the stress, wasted time, poor communication, and unprofessional treatment.

Stay away from these companies

Beware! They picked up my friends car in Tennessee and delivered to WA state. The car arrived with $2500 in damages to the bumper. The driver accepted responsibility, their claims received the pictures, claim form, drivers signature accepting responsibility and it's been a month with zero response or payment! Their insurance has a $5000 deductible, DAE is responsible and refuses to pay my friend for damages. Beware!
