Wouldn’t purchase from here again.

I have bought from this shop many times, but the last two experiences have been a disaster.

I bought a hoover there last Wednesday and was told it would be available for collection on Friday. I rang on Friday and was told it was still in the warehouse but would definitely be there for Saturday. Saturday came and went with no phone call or update.

I rang again on Monday and was told the hoover still hadn’t arrived, but they would send a message to the warehouse to try and expedite the delivery. I called again on Tuesday and was told the hoover still wasn’t in. They were expecting a delivery, but the man on the phone couldn’t tell me whether or not my hoover was even on the truck. I rang back later that day and was told it still hadn’t arrived, and they couldn’t tell me where it was. He said the best option was to send it out by An Post or DPD which would have taken more time to be delivered to me.

To be fair, everyone I dealt with in DID was lovely, and none of this seemed to be the fault of the staff in the shop. However, there seems to be a massive breakdown in communication between the shop and the warehouse.

In the end, I went in, got my money back, and went to Powercity where I got the exact same hoover there and then with no hassle. Unfortunately, after this experience, I wouldn’t purchase from here again.
