The staff (Jess) was amazing, so helpful , calm and explained everything to us in such great detail , she’s a real credit to the team at DFS! The shop had an amazing range of sofas to chose from, we are very excited for our sofa to be delivered.

I went to DFS and found exactly what I wanted. I spoke with the sales assistant, I think his name was John,(sorry) and he was explaining how we should be sure that the couch fit through the door at home. Not what I wanted to hear, I just wanted to buy that sofa. Reluctantly I came home and measured and sure enough it wouldn't fit through the door :(. I went back to DFS armed with measurements and spoke to John again. He guided me through what would fit and somehow managed to find me the absolute perfect sofa that I didn't even know I wanted. He guided me through all the options, colours, fabrics and care packages. I was 1 very happy customer. To end the transaction everything got double checked by another amazing sales lady, I am so sorry I dont remember her name, but she double checked everything we ordered, colour, care packages every little detail was meticulously checked and double checked. I am one very happy customer. I did not want to hear some of Johns advise and was frankly quite annoyed when he refused to sell me the sofa that I THOUGHT I wanted, but this guy knows his stuff. He is a fantastic sales person and guided us with kindness and understanding. He knows the products inside out and is extremely knowledgable and helpful, he applies the personal touch and will not just sell you a sofa if it is not suitable. I think that both of these assistants are a true asset to the company. Both superb people. Thank You guys.

Having visited the store 3 times over the last week, to view different options, the store was always clean and tidy. The staff asked if we required any assistance but left us to look around with no pressure at all.
Today we went back to finalise our decision and place an order, to assist with this we saw a very helpful person by the name of Bev. She could not have been more helpful and again no pressure. Many thanks.

Ordered a sofa which arrived already dirty and with the wrong interior filling, nothing like the quality you'd expect for the price. The delivery team tried to clean it themselves on the spot rather than flagging it as a fault. A later service inspection confirmed a manufacturing fault, and the technician himself said he wouldn't have paid what I paid for it.

I formally rejected the sofa and asked for a full refund and explicitly asked for all contact to be by email. Despite that, I was called repeatedly by different people from the Hove branch, including once from the Horsham store manager because the store manager from Hove was off sick. I was then told I would receive a call back later that day. That call never came.

I've had to escalate this complaint twice, and weeks on I'm still waiting for a collection date and a refund. Appalling handling of a straightforward manufacturing fault, and a company that doesn't respect a customer's clearly stated communication preferences or follow through on what it promises. Would not recommend

Mark had a great knowledge of all the stock in store, and helped us refine our search to find our perfect sofa.

i was talked through everything that I had purchased and advised on insurance and delivery. Also given all options.

I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't get the suite I wanted,but unfortunately that was down to the size of my front door and hallway door.
But did settle on a suite and Owen was very helpful.👍

Our store advisor (Chris) was more than helpful, he explained everything to us so that we understood and answered all our questions we put to him.
He helped us with colour schemes and materials which was very helpful.
